According to that, 4.9% for anything above 24 months.

That link is showing 5.9% for anything over 24 months. Neither link shows the $1500 rebate, probably meaning it's dealer cash.
A 2000 Xterra at trade in good condition according to kbb.com is $12k, but I didn't choose any options.
I believe that if I calculated correctly, invoice for your MPV LX is $24,313.
Pardon for asking, but is your credit ok? Sometimes you can't qualify for the better rate because of that. But, I doubt that is the case. Is the financing through Mazda or a local bank that the dealer works with?
