Looking to lease a 2014 Accord Sport Sedan, manual transmission 3 yrs 12k miles/yr with first month payment and fees in NC. Can you provide the MF and residual? MSRP is $24,505 and invoice is $22,610. The cap cost they gave me is $20,500 which I am assuming is good. Please advise. Monthly payment including all taxes is $235/month with $700 down (that includes 1st month payment)

.00074 MF and 56% residual. $850 lease cash.

EX-L w/ NAV - 51% for 36/15

EX-L Hybrid - 51% for 36/15

Add 2% for 12K.

MF is .00074 and $800 lease cash for the EX-L. Standard MF for Hybrid - probably around .00200.

52% residual and .00026 MF. $1200 lease cash on the coupes.

Be advised that in IL sales tax is applied to the entire selling price of the car and either paid up front or added into the cap cost.

Thanks Michaell! It came down to $443.31/month. I don't know if i did the math right:

31,415 x .52=16,335.8(res value)
31,415-1200-1000(down) = 29,215 x .09(sales tax)=2,629.35
29,215+2,629.35 = 31844.35(selling price)
31,844.35 - 16,335.8 = 15,508.55(depreciation over 36 months)
15,508.55 / 36 = 430.79(monthly dep. payment)
31,844.35 + 16,335.8 = 48,180.15 x .00026(MF) = 12.52(MF interest payment)
430.79 + 12.52 = 443.31

Is this correct?

I get almost exactly the same number (off by .01). If you can wait until 1/1/15, the lease tax laws change in IL.

Using your numbers, I get a pre-tax payment of $165.44. Not sure why there is such a gap to the dealer quote of $206.90.

What state is this? It's possible you live in a state where the tax is either calculated for the entire selling price or calculated for the entire lease up front and added into the selling price.

Selling Price - $18,939

Residual - 57% * $23,545 = $13,240.65

Depreciation - $5518.35 ($18,939 - $13,240.65)

Depreciation per month - $5518.35 / 36 = $153.29

Finance charge - ($18,939 + $13,240.65) * .00074 = $23.95

$153.29 + $23.95 = $177.23 before tax

(oops, somehow my previous calculations were wrong - I may have used 39 months by accident)

You are getting $4500 off sticker; check the Accord Prices Paid discussion to see if the experts there (specifically, brian125), think it's a good price.

Maybe its late at night and my math is off; but looking at the current Honda offer on the base Accord Hybrid of $0 down, $320 per month - this seems to be a solid deal, no? MSRP $29,945, net cap cost $27,735 (including acquisition). Based upon what I have seen for residuals and money factor for this model in the forum, I can't get close to the $320 per month payment. Am I missing something, or is the standard offer actually a solid deal?

51% residual. Looks like the subvented MF from my earlier post does not apply to the Hybrid - base MF is much more expensive (probably around .00200 or so).

It's possible that you have local sales taxes and/or registration fees that could change the calculation. Or, since you are communicating by email, they may be trying to find out if you are even local, at all.

I was out of the market, but I'm also a Chronic Car Buyer . The more I thought about it and the more incentives I see, my piece of mind might be worth about $200 per month. I'll keep you updated.

This would be a long shot, but can I combine the $850 Lease Cash, $1500 Marketing Support, $500 Loyalty Cash, & $500 Conquest Cash?

The $850 lease cash is gone. It's just the $1500 marketing support. Either loyalty or conquest cash along with that, if available, but not both.

I have a deal on the table now with the $1500 marketing support and $500 recent grad. Dealer told be that the loyalty and conquest cash was replaced by the $1500 dealer cash a week ago. Conquest, ok...but how can loyalty be replaced?? Anybody know where the official info is? I can't find on Honda.com.

Standard MF (don't know what it is, but probably expensive) and 51% RV for 36/15.

We would need to know the negotiated selling price in order to attempt to model a payment.

Ok the dealership has offered $23,162.50 with $699 dealer fee - total cap cost (be inclusive of all honda "dealer cash")....they gave me $249 + tax 15k per year/36 mths???
