cant shift out of 1st/2nd back up to drive etc.
I have a 2002 ram p/u 1500 with the 5.9L engine. My transmission started slipping pretty bad the other day on our drive home when accelerating from a stop. At a stop sign close to home I tried down shifting into 1st then drove on shifting up to 2nd then tried to shift back into drive and it wouldn't go. Made it home and turned it off to try and restart but can't cause its in gear now. Disconnected the battery so not till kill battery sense I couldn't turn ignition off losing any codes that were there. Changed filter and fluid today but no idea if that was it or more and still can't get out of gear etc.
