I want to lease a 2014 Mercedes benz E350 sedan 4matic. With all of the equipment, including $925.00 delivery charge, the MSRP is $61,505.00. So far I've had two quotes: 27 mo. lease 12K miles/yr. monthly pmt. $608.00 $2,000.00 down which includes 1st mo. pmt. Residual Value 67% Money factor 0.00130. Quote from another dealer: MSPP $61505.00 27 mo. $610.33/mo $2118.13 Down includes 1st mo pmt. RV 67% MF 0.00150

I have not yet pushed on the negotiating end. Seems to me the the Money Factor is high. I haven't done this in a while so any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Also, are the MB maintenance programs worth it? Thank you.

Hey guys, so my ML 350 RWD 2015 pre order should be arriving in 5 weeks as the dealer tells me. I would like MF and residuals on 12k/15k for 36 months on both the 2014 and 2015 ML350 RWD for August so I can see what the difference will cost me. Thank you in advance

August numbers probably won't be available to us until early next week, unless we get lucky and get them on Friday.

    Hi,

I was able to track down a new 2013 ML350. Will the residuals be so low that it would make more sense to just get a 2014 unless I can get a killer deal on this car? What would the money factor be on a 2013 ML350 RWD 36/12k or 30/12k

    THanks in advance

MB does not have any residual or MF information on the 2013 models, sorry.

What would be a good 24/36 month lease for 2014 ML550 4Matic with MSRP $69,204 in NJ? Thank you!

Not enough information to provide an answer. What is the selling price? How many miles per year are you looking for?

The bad news is that the MF for the ML550 is "standard", meaning it's in a range from .00195 to .00225 - this means it will be expensive to lease.

Thank you for your quick reply. I'm looking for 12K per year. How much do you think this MSRP can be negotiated down?

Dear Lbl, i just leased a ml350 in NJ with Benzel Busch and this is after many months of research and discussions with other dealers, i got a fantastic price. if you want i can share with you my sales person and their info.

  • steverstever Viva Las CrucesPosts: 40,817

@jinxin, congrats. It's fine to share your dealer and their webpage URL. We frown on last names since that seems to encourage shills to post, but first name, initial is fine. And please post more details - MSRP, sales price, trim and zip or state info will help other shoppers.

While I'm begging, please take a minute to write a Dealer Review too. B)

For our east coast shoppers, i have purchased my first and leased my second MB from Benzel Busch dealing with Kathy Z. She is very honest and straight forward about pricing. No gimmicks nor games. My most recent lease is a 2014 ML350 4Matic, 36 months with 12k/year. MSRP 58,925, Final price is app 51,950. MF .00095 with direct pay. i ended paying 6800 upfront to keep the monthly pay under 600 with all other fees/expenses included.

Will dealers negotiate the residuals or are they set firm by Mercedes? If that's the case, then we can only negotiate the car price and money factor?

Also is this info just on RWD ML's?

    2015: .00137 MF and 55%/53% residual

What would it be for 4Matic's?

Residuals are set by Mercedes Finance.. Base money factors can't be reduced, but dealers will mark them up for extra profit.

MF is .00135 for AWD... residuals are the same.

Ok I just spoke with Mercedes of Chantilly, VA...here's what they quoted me:

    2015 ML350 4Matic
    MSRP $66k
    Sale price $61k
    36 month lease
    12k miles per year
    Residual 50%
    0 down except 1st payment
    $1,080/mo
    .0015 money factor

The 50% residual is bad right?? That's killing the payment...they said they're estimating the residual but I need to come in and meet them.
  • kyfdxkyfdx Posts: 29,156
    edited August 9

The residual can't be correct.. It has to be 55% for 36mo, 12K/yr. It's possible they are marking up the money factor for extra profit, or possibly to waive a security deposit, as the base MF is .00135.

Not sure what your taxes are like, or what else they might be rolling into the lease to get to $1080/mo., but that looks at least $150/mo. too high....
