2.5 SE - .00010 and 50%

1.8T SE - .00022 and 51%

VW does not offer MSD's - the base MF is too low to begin with.

And, we would need a selling price to model a payment.

Ok, so selling price would be with what the incentives are so lets say 2500$ off of MSRP $24465. I thought MSD's were available for VW, at least I know they were at one point... Audi has them, same parent company vw... just assumed that they still did them, thanks.

lease offer: 2000 down 287/mo 12k/yr 36mo +1000 turbo offer toward lease

Is this a good deal? Tax and fees are included, OK tax.

Is this a ok lease deal for 36/15miles. 2014 passat se w/sunroof and 18in wheels. Cap cost $25,300. MF .00022 and residual 49%. Monthly payment of $345 including tax w first payment due at signing. How does this stack up? Thanks

MSRP for the car was $28,500 by the way and the dealer said he gave me $2000 dealer cash and the customer $1000 turbo cash. Ty

What is the MSRP? We don't recommend putting money down on a lease - if the car is stolen or totaled, you are out that money.

I get a pre-tax payment of $323.50 with your numbers.

However, there seems to be almost no discount from sticker, aside from the dealer cash and turbo incentive.

Use the shopping tools at the top of the page to determine your target price before incentives; each $1000 you negotiate off the cap cost will save you about $28/mo on your payment.

Thanks for the info. What is typical for dealers to discount the msrp price before applying incentives? Whats a fair counter offer and pymt with your experience?

I haven't bought or leased a VW since the New Beetle the wife wanted back in 1999. The pricing tools at the top of the page should give you a target price that you can take to your dealer.

I'm thinking around invoice or so, before incentives.

Hmm, still not as much off sticker as I would have thought. However, there is still $3000 in incentives available.

I'd ask for a detailed breakdown of the fees - some are legit, others can be negotiated away.

Looks like the dealer is marking up the MF on you.

I attached lease form from dealer. This actually another dealer that is giving me the same price and for some reason there selling price is different. Same msrp as other. Any ideas of what they are pulling. Also they said money factor is .0004.

What state is this in? Taxes for leases are calculated differently, so the $270 may be an ok price.

Base MF is .00022, so .0004 is a markup o .00018.

NJ calculates the taxes for the entire lease up front - you can either pay that amount up front at lease inception or roll the tax amount into the cap cost and spread it out over each payment.

Should I consider the lease cash as part of negotiating the cap cost on the vehicle or should I negotiate that seperately and the lease cash would be like paying my own cash at signing to lower the lease payment?

Like Edmunds lists the True market value at 27202. So for example if I was going for that price I should shoot for 23952 with the lease cash included?

I was at a NJ dealer today and received a quote for '14 v6 SEL premium but before I could confirm what MF, RV and lease cash that they were using my 2 and 6 year olds had reached their max time in the dealership. I have a monthly quote of $429 based on 36/12k with only paying 1st mth at signing on a selling price of 30,710 (MSRP of $35,765). Can you can validate that the quote does utilize the 0.00005, 50%, and 3,500 lease cash.

In order to validate we would need the MSRP and negotiated selling price.

With those numbers, I get a payment of $359/mo. If we add in tax, title/doc and acq.fee (about $2200?), then the number is about $420/mo... that's pretty close, considering my numbers are just estimates..
