Thanks all in advance, have been a G35/G37x sedan driver for nine years, three leases. The nest is empty now, looking to switch to the Q60 convertible, can anyone provide lease MF and residual rates for this vehicle? Ive been on the forum as a user for the last 6 years, sorry i don't provide a lot of content, but find this forum indispensable for a purchase. Back in 08 and 11 there was a poster who would place a lease rate chart for all models at the beginning of each month. I've looked in the G37 and Q50 threads and don't see this practice anymore. This user in 11 was moving from the G37 coupe to a Porsche Cayman, don't think he around now... Anyway, looking for all rates is guess, what are they offering? 24/10k, 36/10k, 39/10k? 12K for all of these? Is there a lease loyalty rebate for Feb.?

    2014 Q60 Convertible Base 39mo, 12K/yr lease

.0010 MF and 57% residual. Add 1% for Sport trim. Add 1% for 10K/yr

24mo, 12K/yr residual is 66%. Ditto on additions above.

No lease incentives, but the dealer gets $3250 of cash on a purchase. No lease loyalty on this model.

Sorry, turns out I need 15k miles per year. Can you provide MF & RV for 39 months, 15k miles per year for both 2014 & 2015 Q60 convertible (base & sport). Thx!

Subtract 2% from residual to go from 12K/yr to 15K/yr

Ok, here are the two deals we got from our local dealer on a 2014 Q60 convertible. Please let me know if these is a decent deal or not. They don't want to discount the car any further... lack of inventory... are you seeing others get a greater discount off MSRP?

Definitely drive more than 12k which is why I asked for both options. Salesman is suggesting going with 12k and buying miles at the end of the lease @ .15 per mile

    Lease Option A
    12k
    39 Month
    MSRP: $54,055
    Discount: $2,200
    Sell Price: $51,833
    Total Taxes: $1,826.13
    Tag/Reg: $432.00
    Doc Fee: $799
    Upfront Fees: $1,794.45
    Monthly Payment: $675.68
    MF: 0.00046
    Residual: 53%

    Lease Option B
    15K
    39 Month
    MSRP: $54,055
    Discount: $2,200
    Sell Price: $51,833
    Total Taxes: $1,900.62
    Tag/Reg: $432.00
    Doc Fee: $799
    Upfront Fees: $1,794.45
    Monthly Payment: $704.81
    MF: 0.00046
    Residual: 51%

Inception of $3k to cover tax, tag, & doc fee.

    Thoughts?

Noticed, after I posted this that the dealer has a line item Upfront Fees and am questioning what that is.
  • whoknew01whoknew01 Member Posts: 29
Ok, here's the explanation I got on the upfront fees:

    Upfront fees include:

    Florida Tire Fee: $5.00
    Acquisition Fee: $700
    Doc Fee: $799
    Lien/Electronic Filing Fee: $139
    Renta Surcharge Fee: $60
    Battery Fee: $1.50
    Tag Agency: $89.00
*The doc fee is not counted as separate from the upfront fees like I listed before.

Can you decipher and make heads or tails of this and tell if it's a decent deal or not? Are these bogus and/or duplicate fees to what's already listed above? Can't tell...?

Appreciate any help or input you can provide. Thanks in advance.

Taxes in Florida are assessed on each payment, not upfront.. The only fee that looks excessive is the $799 doc fee. Sad to say, that is typical for Florida, but still BS. Sort of negates the $2200 discount from MSRP..

On the plus side, the .00046 MF and 53% residual for 39mo, 12K/yr is correct. If you drive over 12K/yr, just get the 15K/yr lease (51% residual)... That's an extra $1090 for 9750 miles.. .or, about $0.11/mile..

$3000 inception seems like a little too much.. $17XX in fees and $700 payment is just $24XX.

With $2500 upfront, I get $659/mo,+tax, or about $705/mo., tax included..

That's pretty close to what they quoted.. My biggest issue is with the selling price. Only $2200 off on last year's model. Plus $800 doc fee? That's the place to drop the price on this car... with a lower selling price.

The dealer has a $3400 gross on that car, and Infiniti suggests a $2500 dealer discount on their advertised lease. And, that's nationwide, where many dealers don't sock you with an $800 doc fee... I'd say you could drop the selling price by at least $1000. Unfortunately, there is no dealer cash on that vehicle, except for purchase. If you are a current IFS customer there is $750 of Captive Cash.

$1000 less will drop the payment about $28/mo.
