Replacing Fuse Panel on 1997 Honda Passport

This may have already been touched on by someone, (I don't know. I'm new here.) but I was looking for some information on how to replace the fuse panel on a '97 Honda Passport. I'm a little confused on exactly what the fuse panel is. When I say fuse panel in THIS context, I'm referring to the fuse box underneath the hood and to the left. There is some major electrical problem with it, but I do believe that whatever the problem is, it also runs to the other fuse panel inside the vehicle on the driver's side.

Are all of the fuse panels intertwined? Example: If there is a problem with one of the fuse boxes/panels (I don't know the difference in fuse panel and fuse box, if there is one), would this problem also coexist in the other fuse boxes/panels?

I am less automobile-savvy than I would like to be, but I am trying to learn more. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
