Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has gotten any quotes on new Q3s yet? I'm curious to see how these are coming in compared to the Q5. Thanks!

Just heard back from Audi on the Q3. MSRP 36,075. Purchase price 35,075 RV:$21,284.25 (59%). 36/12k terms PMT of $518.10/month.

Quick math I'm getting a MF of 0.00239. Did I do that wrong? That seems really high. $135/month in interest (35,075-21,284=13791. 13,791/36=$383.08. 518-383=$135)

    Q3 2.0T Quattro Premium Plus: .00146 MF and 59% residual for 36mo, 12K/yr.

You can't reverse engineer the money factor, until you know the CAP cost.. That's the selling price, plus acquisition fee and whatever other charges they have added.

Thanks for the reply. I did knock on the door of the other Audi dealership in town and they quoted me exactly that. 0.00146 MF 59% RV and 1000 off MSRP. Looks like this is going to happen.

  • Recently went into a dealership here in CA and got quoted the following:

    Audi Q3 2.0T Quattro Prestige:
MSRP (with options) $41,125, 6% discount so sales price is $38,675.50
    36 months
    12,000 miles per year
    Money factor 0.0026
    $3,000 down
    Monthly payment = $590.19 ($541.14 w/o tax).

    Doesn't this seem high?!

The money factor equates to a 6.24% interest rate and another dealership quoted me $535 per month (w/ tax) so I'm at a loss. Even got a quote on a $49K Mercedes-Benz GLK350 for $588/month at 3 years, 15K miles so we are completely perplexed...

The base money factor is .00146, so yes.. it's very high.. Audi leases aren't that competitive to begin with, and dealer markups to the financing won't help.

  • Thanks @kyfdx

The information you provided was very helpful. Based on this deal structure and a lower MF (i.e. 0.0018), does it look like a good deal at about $535/month after tax (before tax of $492/month)? Or would you recommend going with a different make/model for the same price/pound? How much do dealers typically mark up the MF from the base money factor?

Also considering Audi Q5 Premium Plus, Mercedes-Benz GLK350, BMW X3, and Range Rover Evoque (Pure/Pure Plus).

As my co-host noted, Audi leases are not supported by AFS as much as other manufacturers.

You shouldn't sign any lease deal with a marked up MF. Period.

Base MF on the BMW is .00129 this month, but can be reduced (as can Audi) with MSDs.

  • Hello @Michaell, I was hoping you could provide the MF and residual for the Q3 Premium Plus FWD for 36mos/10k miles (with the Driver Assistance package, if that matters).

    Hi,

Can I get the MF and residual on a Prestige model both fwd and awd for 12/36 and 10/36

    Also

Premium plus both fwd and awd for 10/36 and 12/36

Trying to figure which would be the best deal for us.

Also, any incentives for this car at the moment? Thanks!
  • Hi Guys,

    36/12 Prem Plus:

    FWD - .00122 and 57%

    AWD - .00137 and 59%

Add 1% for 10K; subtract 1% for Prestige
