2005 BPA leaking coolant but can't pinpoint source. It is near water pump but changed water pump....did not help. Leaks until engine warms up enough for thermostat to open. Any ideas? Thanks.

You have two plastic elbows that run from the tensioner body to the metal lower intake manifold and from the side of the block to the tensioner. The water flows through the tensionor body to the two tubes at the rear that go to the heater core. Your most likely source is the elbow that goes into the lower intake manifold. They have o-rings on both ends and the plastic itself can crack. You may be having the plastic swell with heat or the o-ring is sealing up and not leaking OR you have the leak continuing and the drip is onto the top of the block and is evaporating before it continues down.

Inspect and look for water trails leaving the residue from the GM sealer that should be in the coolant.
