Looking to buy the car in CT ideally. Would appreciate any leads to a good price - dealership, sales person name and price. Would also consider MA or NY.

    Thank you.
  • It is 3.9% for 60 M, not that good. I got 0% for my 09 mazda6.

0% for a Mazda is not what you can expect for a Honda. I own a Honda and a Mazda right now, and that Honda is a better car imho. The Accord is a brand-new design that is winning most comparison test when it comes to performance, mpg, safety, quality, etc. The Mazda 6 is a good car, but not in the same league according to most magazines.

The Accord is probably the best midsize car right now. You can expect to pay a little more to get the best.

    Hello Sophie

I live in LA and looking for a 2013 LX. Please share the exact purchase price
    and any rebates.

It is easier to compare purchase price less rebates without fees.

    Also what dealer?

    thanks

Consumer reports just rated the Accord best midsize car. And rightfully so.. Of coarse they had to put there positive spin on there baby The Camry. Never once mentioning how bad the new Camry Failed in the recent front Crash Tests and how the Camry is slipping further down the chain of not so good cars.. In the new tests the Camry's Front Wheel well and wheel crushed the driver. If it was any other car brand they would be all over that .. Seems funny how they say there Unbias.

I am sure others can give much more insight but that seems like a really good deal to me and the price range I was looking for.

I am looking for the EX-L as well and not many of the dealers want to come down much. I have followed the tips of those on this forum (as well as have bought over internet before) but the dealers around here just don't want to budge much.

The best offer I have received so far is $26799 plus TTL in El Paso. While that did include tint and mudguards it is higher than I wanted to get it for. However the local dealers here in Albuquerque will only give me $1000 off MSRP! I'll just have to be patient to get the right deal.
  • there is no way the new camry comes even close to this accord. 2013 accord is in another league, it seems more like a 40 thousand dollar car. no offense to toyota since they still make great cars.
  • Planning to buy a the ex-l v6 without nav, and best offer so far is $27,200 before TTL. Dealer will additonally give wheel lock and mud guards. I've financing ready for as low as 1.49% ...Would this be a good deal?

Not many 2012's left.. Check all dealers websites to view there inventory. You should consider a 2013 much better car for the money.

If your term is up, you get nothing. Otherwise it is prorated. This is insurance and it works like any other insurance product - you buy it for security and peace of mind. It is not for everyone.

    Hello Everyone,
I bought a 2013 Honda Accord Sport over the New Years weekend at Autosport Honda in NJ.
I told them that I wanted to pay 23k OTD price, they agreed. They did a reverse calculation which looked something like this:
23,000 out the door price - Honda Accord Sport
    7% 1,464.52 Tax
    299.00 Doc Fees
    307.30 DMV
    7.50 NJ tire fee
    790.00 Destination
    20,131.68 Car price
I had my own financing ready from Bank of America at 2.2% which Honda matched afterwards.
Hope this helps anyone buying in NJ. Also, thanks for all the great tips from some of you over the last month.
  • If you read any auto magazines or Consumer Reports you will find that nitrogen in the tires has no effect. It works only as a marketing gimmick.
  • Is your car automatic or manual?
  • Why do so many people include the sales tax in their OTD quote? Sales tax is non-negotiable and varies by state, so it makes it harder to compare quotes. If you say that the OTD quote includes a sales tax of 6.5% it requires that the OTD number be divided by 1.065 to get a meaningful price for all states. Other costs, like options, registration, and documentation should be included because that's how dealers adjust their profit. Leave sales tax out!

Let folks post all the info they like. Every few years someone comes in here and wants this changed or that changed...bottom line is most folks want ALL the info including the sales tax. So just take out the info from each post that you want...the way things are right now are just fine!

    The Sandman :) :shades:

P.S. Was at the Honda store this morning and Honda did a great job with the new Accord. A very impressive car for the money and very upscale especially the interior!
