    hello, need some advice
looking to purchase a new 07 altima, which I love what is best the bottom line price to expect from a dealer? I also have a friends and family nissan discount. What is that worth? Comparing the altima to the Acura tsx. Much smaller car but the resale value is a lot higher. Any thoughts
    Thanks viv3
  • Did you really get this car for $16,00 OTD. PLease email me. I am about to bu the same car for $2000 more.

    PLease replmy ASAP.

    Thanks in advance
  • It looks like the invoice on this is $23,843. You paid $23,411 plus your $1,700 trade-in --> $25,111,06, including the fees. How much were your fees?
  • I was going to lease a 2007 Altima 3.5SE, but the monthly payments were ridiculous. I finally purchased one with the Technology Package.

    MSRP $32,715
    Invoice $29,833
    Paid $29,833

I think it's a great deal. And I guess, that's what counts. Oh, yeah, it was Pinnacle Nissan in Scottsdale, AZ.
  • 2007 Altima 2.5 SL.

Majestic blue metallic with blonde interior

Price on car before TTL: $22,800

    Financed roughly $23,800.

Not bad. Trade in only provided 168 bucks in equity.
  • Shaggy, that's a great deal. Dealers around greater Seattle area is advertising it at $23,800 for the internet price. One dealer said this was $300 over invoice. Did you get leather on your Altima?
  • Leather, alloys, heated seats, sunroof, splash guards, floor mats, abs, etc... $22,800 plus TTL (freight included). This was below invoice.
  • I'm on the verge of buying one. Here is the offer I got for 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5S CVT plus ABS, Splash guards, trunk mat set.

    MSRP: 21,515
    Invoice: 20,091
Offered : 19,450 including all fees and before TTL

This is at Nissan of Omaha, Omaha, Nebraska.
  • I think I saw a previous post referring to how hard it was to locate the 07 Altima 3.5 SL on the east coast. You are not kidding, it's all the same on the west coast.

I went to buy one and since I am quite picky and wanted the brilliant silver 3.5 with the SL package, but they could not find one. I ended up ordering one and pre-signing the paperwork. Not even sure when it's to arrive but I wait impatiently.

I got it for 30K Supposedly around 300 over invoice price but we all know dealers can doctor invoice prices. I did some research but I could not find actual invoice price on this model anywhere.

    2007 Nissan Altima 4dr Sedan 3.5 SL

    $29,015MSRP Price:
    $26,880Invoice Price:
  • Interestingly enough. I am seeing it in several places now. It was a completely different story four weeks ago.
  • The 2007 Altima (probably the 2.5SL) is currently at the top of my 'short list' as I plan on buying a new car in the next 2 months. MSRP is around $26.2K and the invoice $24.4. Competitors have various incentives (rebates, reduced interest rates), however, Nissan is offering nothing right now. Is anyone aware of any upcoming incentives on the Altima? Does history indicate anything coming after the 1st of the year?
I'd wait to look at the hybrid, but at a 15 to 20 percent premium, the payback period is way too long for me.
    Thanks,
    Bill
  • As good as the 2.5 S looks, I"ll wait until Nissan finds/fixes all the typical first-year bugs in this new build. The statistics on 1st year models (like the 07 Altima) overwhelmingly support my decision (see Consumer Reports for details)

  • Just leased an 2.5S with SL package in Marlboro, MA. It was Dark Slate outside, black inside and fog lights. I was trading in a 2001 altima with 85k on it,that had been stolen and repaired with with 9k in damage. I got trade in value of over $5500 and $500 recent collage grad rebate. I walked out of the dealership paying nothing, everything including 1st month payment and all taxes and fees taken care of.

The terms were 12k miles a year, 42 months for $299.62.

While doing the paperwork with the finance guy I extend the warranty from the 36k/36 months to the full 42 months and added roadside assistance and free towing to a Nissan dealership, along with 100% free rental car when I am without my car for an extra $3.47 a month. I don't have AAA, so I though why not and in the past 4 years I have had to pay for a tow truck 3x.

This car is SICK, it is by far the best car for the money even when you just stay at the base 2.5S trim level. Toyota Camry and Honda Accord don't hold a candle to this. I think I got a good deal, I hope I did, but I don't care right now as am so pumped I got this amazing car. What do you think of my deal? Did I do good or maybe I could have done a little better?
  • No, I paid total out the door with trade-in: $23,411, no dealer fees!
  • Hi,
Yesterday I bought an Altima 2006 special edition for 17,055 OTD. Is this a good price ?.

    Thanks

I just bought an 06 Altima Special Edition for $17000 complete after rebate from a Milwaukee area dealer. This one replaces my 02 Altima which moves on to one of my sons. My Nissan experiences have been wonderful. :)
  • paid for 2.5s : 18,987
    SL package : 3501
    ABS : 260
    mats : 127
    splash guard : 102
    Freight charge :615
    dealer profit : 408
    sub total : 24,000
    tax : 2182.41
    title/regis etc.. : 150.50
    vin etch : 249
extended service contract : 705.02
extended maintenance contract : 910 (good job you guys  )

    Question!
Can I get refund for those extended things? Even though they said I can get free engine oil change for 5 years, it seems too expensive.
  • rlkx4, can you give me a price break up> was it including TTL?

    Thanks

You need to get out your paperwork and go over it with a fine-toothed comb..

You likely can't get out of the VIN etch, as they actually put work into that (even if it is only worth $30). But, the service contract (warranty?) and maintenance contract likely have cancellation provisions...

The sooner you cancel, the more money you save.. If you've only had the car for one day, they might re-do your paperwork and save you the trouble of doing an official cancellation..

The extended warranty may not be a rip-off, but I wouldn't recommend it. Paying for maintenance in advance on a Nissan? That can't be a good deal.

One point: If you've financed these extras, and you have to jump through the official hoops to cancel them, then you probably won't get a check back. If their is a lien on your vehicle, any refund will be sent to the bank to reduce the loan amount on your vehicle. (which still benefits you).

    Good luck,

The $17000 did not include tax or title. The same dealer wanted $17000+ for a basic 07 Sentra.
  • Just bought a 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5S(Dark Slate color) with SL package and XM Connection Package plus Fog lights, ABS, Floor, Splash guards and Trunk mats for $23,500 before TTL. I liked the color a lot.

    MSRP: 26,875
    Invoice: 24,884
    Paid : 23,500(before TTL)
  • This bottom line price is below invoice. (by quite a bit)What dealer gave you this deal? Did this price include your trade in allowance because I don't see how a dealer could do this without incentives?
  • I bought my car last night from a dealer in Omaha, Nebraska called WOODHOUSE NISSAN. Also other dealers in OMAHA are ready to beat him but none had DARK SLATE color which is the only color I liked on lot. The same dealer offered me similar car but without XM package for $22,600 but not readily available on lot. No, trade in is involved with this deal. My CU offered me 5.59 APR for 36 months which they couldn't beat.
  • Wow! $17,055 OTD is a good price.

I just paid $17,240 + TTL for a 2006 Altima with SE package, splash guards, mats. OTD price was $19,000. The MSRP was $21,545. The dealer is in central NJ.

    39 month lease/3yr
    0 down

    SOund about right?
  • Thanks Enkur. I had such a hard time finding the exact car I wanted, I decided to purchase the 2007 Toyota Camry instead. I was a little torn between the two cars, but being that I couldnt find the color and options I wanted in the Altima, Toyota won my business :)
  • Yea! I finally got my Brilliant Silver 3.5SL!

30K after tax and title. :D

by the way, ororahime, you can cancel some of the extras you bought, but most have a 30 day cancellation policy so read them carefully and cancel quickly.

I got the ext warranty myself and some dent protection crap.. they discounted ext warranty for getting them both but I am still cancelling the second one and get full refund and keep ext warranty. ;)

That button start and intelligent key are sooo cool!!
