Regarding rear seat legroom - is the "Super Vario Plus" adjustable rear seat not going to be an option with the B electric?

Mercedes has been doing a terrific job with their styling recently... until now. But "yay" for more electric.

Question- will these plug into the Tesla charging stations? ;)

The Mercedes B-Klasse ED will not plug into a Tesla Supercharger, or any other DC quick charger (including the GM/German manufacturer proposed "Frankenplug" version).

Much like the Toyota Rav4 EV with Tesla drivetrain, this Mercedes will be used for California Air Resources Board (CARB) Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) regulatory mandates. Neither car has any DC quick charging of any kind, and in the case of Toyota, they are even founding member of the CHAdeMO worldwide DC quick charge protocol (it's the same in Tokyo, Chicago or Oslo). Both Mercedes (Daimler) and Toyota are investors in Tesla.

Mercedes will have sell less than 1000 of these cars at 3 CARB-ZEV credits each over the three model years from 2015 to 2017. I suspect they may also have a few hydrogen cars at 9 credits each, too.

I'd really like to know if this vehicle will have a quick charge port as well.
