Can you tell me the MF and RV for both SXT RWD and Limited RWD. I am looking for 10k Miles and 36 months. Is there any specific amount below MSRP that i can aim for negotiations? THanks

The dealer i went to is giving .00054 as money factor for SXT. are these different in different states? I am in California, Also what do you think of this quote:

SXT MSRP :$40310

10k miles per year/36 months with $1000 drive off

$400 (including taxes which is 8% here)

what do you guys think? is it a good deal or should i wait.. i am not in a rush

i am not sure exactly but it is around $34k-$35k after all discounts and rebates

Seems like a fair deal .. do you know if the dealer is using Chrysler Financial as the bank for the lease?

Not public information. I would, however, confirm that the dealers are all using Chrysler Financial. Other banks often have higher MF but offset that with lease specific rebates.

Money down trade in a 2007 Honda oddesy 114000 miles 7000 for trade all but 2000 down.

What is the MSRP and selling price?

We don't recommend using trade equity as a down payment - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money. Have the dealer cut you a check instead and use that money to supplement the now higher payment.

$5000/36 is about $140/mo, so your "true" payment is $556/mo

0 down $649/month seems outrageous and being in Ohio I thought we only paid tax on the amount paid during the lease term.  Any help from would be great.

My total cap: 44892 with tax
Money down: 600

They came up with a price of $596, I come up with a price of $511 before tax and $551 with tax. Am I close and is there room to do better?

You have to factor in a $595 acquisition fee in there, somewhere..

I really have no idea what a Durango sells for.. Your math is correct.. ask them to break down their CAP cost, and see what they are adding in.

Add 1% for leases less than 10,000 miles per year.

Are june number coming out tomorrow? Im in michigan and it seems like the leases had no rebated for may. Hoping we see a huge change for june. Otherwise I might have to wait until September/October before I can get a Durango RT at the right price.

I miss the days where they offered 3k rebate or more in the durango (pre-refresh years). I remember the 2012 (or 2013 I think) had a 5k rebate in NYC around end of summer. Really hoping those huge rebates come back.

39 month term is not competitive.

No idea on the incentives.

On the Edmunds incentive page i'm seeing $5,000 and $4,250 rebates on the 2015 Durango LTD & SXT+ (respectively) for customers that lease through a bank other than Chrysler Financial. I think Ally also has a relationship with Chrysler. If Ally was competitive on residual and MF for 36mo/10kmi then that could be a decent deal. Do you have access to Ally's numbers? Or will i have to go through the dealership for that info?

We don't have the ALLY numbers. We do know that they differ greatly from the Chrysler Capital numbers. Depending on the model, you sometimes come out ahead, but not in the amount of those rebates.

Also, as to the Ally question, a dealer told me the MF was equivalent to about 7.8% and the residual was a little lower too I think, and while the discount was significant it did not make up for the high rate.

Dealer can inflate the MF for extra profit.

Ally leases tend to have higher MF's but larger lease incentives to compensate. You'd have to run the numbers both ways to see which results in a better overall deal.

Hmmm .... my documents tell me that the base MF is for both tiers 1 & 2. Add .00060 for tier 3 and .00159 for tier 4.

This is for Chrysler Financial; and, we don't have the actual scores that correspond to the specific tiers.

Might be time to reach out to a new dealer.

Only takes a score of around 700 to qualify for best rates for most lease companies. It might be 2% of the general population, but it's probably 20-30% of new car shoppers that will qualify for top tier. It's not an unusual occurrence for shoppers in this price range to qualify.

Ask them directly.. "Do I qualify for the best rate, or are you marking it up for extra profit?" Being very direct will usually get you the correct answer...
