  • The money factor is .00190 and for a 36 month lease with 10,000 miles per year the residual is 61%. You should be looking for $1,500 behind invoice then the $3,500 ECO credit, then the $750 bonus cash and the loyalty can be used as $1,000 or to reduce the money factor by .00030. The mark up from M.S.R.P. to invoice is 7% on any BMW. So if the M.S.R.P. is $54,350 your selling price should be $43,795.00 if you use the loyalty off the selling price.
  • What model 3-series? What is the M.S.R.P.? Sounds very high....
  • The 335i sedan currently has a credit for auto transmission of $1,305.00 and APR cash of $750. You should be looking for a selling price of $1,500 to $2,000 behind invoice minus incentives... So on a $52,000 car the selling price should be between $44,305 and $44,805 if your financing. Don't forget about the 1.9% for 36 months and 2.9% for 60 months special APR rate.

    Insidecarbuy,

Thanks for the information. Where did you get the $1,500 behind invoice? It is typically difficult to get behind invoice on a BMW unless there is some program supporting it.

If I were to offer $43,795 (per the example) the dealer would be making zero on the car - correct?

Do you have current rates for a 335i sedan (3 years, 10k miles per year)?

    Thanks
  • Dealer around Washington, DC area quoted the following last night:

328i Sapphire Black/Black, Value Pkg, Premium Pkg, Cold Weather Package, Sat Radio. MSRP $42,275. Price quoted $38,290, less $750 if I finance with BMW.

    Good deal?

    Thanks,

    RIP...
  • I just got a lease price for the following:
    12K/36m
    2012 328 convertible
    mineral white
    red leather
    navigation
    convenience
    premium
    satellite
    harmon kardon
    automatic
    value

The msrp: 55,225 purchase price: 51,248
    Residual 65%
    Money factor.0020

    $2765 up front
    $$637 a month

Please let me know if this is a good deal..

    It's a 328xi coupe
Dealer is ready to give it for invoice. He says residual is 67% and he is saying money factor is .00225. The payment comes to 543/ month. As a reminder its a

    Mineral white
    Saddle brown
    Value pkg
    Premium pkg
    Nav
    Sat radio

    0 down
    925 BMW bank fee
    349 doc fee
  • Is there any way to get one of these certificates if you did not actually attend the event? I know that sounds terrible, but I was recovering from surgery during that time and now I am about $1,000 away from the deal I want.
  • Looking at a 2011 335d. Jet black, oyster interior. Pretty well loaded (sports, premium, convenience, cold weather, idrive, etc)

    MSRP is 56750 and the offer on the table is $49400. (56750 - 3500 eco - 1000 loyalty - 750 finance/lease cash).

Edmunds gives a TMV of 50,354. I am assuming that includes the 3500 eco credit, but not the 1750 for loyalty / finance.

For a 2011, I think I should be getting closer to invoice, however I saw an earlier post talking about prices up to 1500 _under_ invoice. Is there a factory to dealer incentive that I'm missing somewhere?

    --B.

What current incentives are available for October 2011 for a 2011 335xi sedan? The sales guy at my dealership mentioned 2 incentives for me - an $1840 "navigation" credit as well as a loyalty incentive (either $1000 or 0.00030 off the MF). Is that all that is available? Others have mentioned $750 dealer cash as well. Would that also be available in my case?

  • Hi,

    Thanks!

The offer I got currently is $46,950 otd. Good price as packaged? payment will be at $843x60 months with financing at 2.9% = $50,580. Haven't negotiate the trade in price yet, we'll see.

    335i Sedan
    Rear-wheel drive
    Base MSRP $42,050
    Space Gray Metallic $550
    Chestnut Brown Dakota Leather $0
    Glacier Silver Aluminum trim $0
    Performance Edition Package $550
    M Sport Package $3,750
    Premium Package 2 $2,650
    Heated front seats $500
Harman Kardon surround sound system $875
    iPod and USB adapter $0
    Destination & Handling: $875
    Total MSRP as Built $51,900
  • I would never pay that much for a Bimmer without comfort access.

since it's a M/T, I won't be able to use my key to start the engine... so that feature is 1/2 useless in my case. May be I'll add Nav. to it, which there might be a credit?
  • $46,950 before tax or after?

What? Look at the number if it is OTD including taxes. It would be a crazy deal unheard of. For 6% taxes, the sale price of the car is like 44,000 for a car with MSRP 52,000. $3000 below invoice? Is BMW going to file bankruptcy or something crazy like that?
Hey anh3, Would you share which dealer you are working with?

that's before taxes, but it'll still a little less than or at invoice. I think that's still a good deal. I live in the Midwest.

Starting to hunt for a 328i in the LA area. Any thoughts on how much I should look to be spending on a car with the specs below:

    Metallic paint
    Dakota leather
    Nav
    Xenon lights
    Heated front seats
    Smartphone integration
Comfort access (would be nice but not necessary)
