  • For those looking for a 535i below is the deal I was able to strike last Sunday. Based on my calculations I got the car for $40 under invoice plus the dealership ate $2,700+ worth of inceptions.

    MSRP - 61,745
    MF - .00127
    RV - 60%
At signing $879 (included 1st payment)
    Monthly Payment including 6% tax - $689!!!
    36 Month Lease
    15K Miles per year

    Incentives used
    - Pull forward program (they forgave my last 3 payments on my 328)
    - $500 pull forward credit on new car
    - $750 BMW Loyalty credit
    - $1,000 Driver Event Credit

Another dealership tried to sell me the same car for $2,400 at signing / $886 plus tax and I laughed. I think the fact that it was memorial day weekend helped and I was playing 4 different dealerships against each other. Non the less I love the car and the deal! Good luck!

I am also looking for a 2013 528i xdrive in Northern NJ. Please share the dealer and best price if possible.
  • just bought a 528, msrp $55800, I paid $54500 out the door, don't know if it is a good deal.

I just got a 535xdrive @ invoice minus incentives w/o any real difficulty. $1000 ultimate drive, $750 loyalty plus $500 loyalty off first payment for releasing. Waived last 3 payments on car I turned in early.

Do you mind sharing dealership? I'm in NJ. Was that a 2013? Did you order? I'm thinking strongly about using Pull Ahead program, the $1000 ultimate drive credit, $750 customer loyalty and $1500 option credit equals about $50000 in savings.

    Thanks!
  • yes, mine is 2013 model. I think if you get $5000 off MSRP that's almost 10% discount. I am in northen California, the price may be little bit different.

This will be my first bmw, so pointers from veterans appreciated.

528i xdrive 2014, Carbon black metallic, M sport line, Sport auto transmission, Cold weather package, Premium package, Driver assist, Driver assist plus, Lighting package, Rear sunshades, Harmon kardon sound system

    36 months lease
    12,000 miles per year

    MSRP 67500

36 months 12k miles per year.

Upfront (first month): $2550 includes all taxes and fees (break up of this is $925 acquisition fee, $740 first month's installment + misc)

Remaining 35 months: $740 per month

Another dealer has essentially bettered this quote by $925, saying that the upfront (including registration + misc fees) would be $1600.

Please tell me if this seems like a good deal.

    Thank you.

What is the selling price? That seems like an awful lot for a 528,

Thank you for replying. Yes, it appears to be a bit steep, but I have got almost every add-on on it. The Msrp itself is 67525, negotiated final price is 61400 (this is close to the invoice price). MF 0.00127, residual 61% gives me monthly payments of $695 per month before state tax, so that seems to tie up.

The issue is the cash due upfront. I believe that the upfront is being unfairly marked up, as is clear from the quotes of the 2 dealerships. While both are at same monthly (695/m) one is seeking 2550 upfront and the other 1600.

Also, please note that the above pricing includes a $1000 rebate for attending a bmw event.

All they are doing is taking the $925 Acquisition Fee and moving it to the back end. When you turn in the lease you will pay the 925 then and not at lease signing so its essentially the same deal

Dealer price is $49990 includes prem pack, rear view camera, nav and cold package. I plan to tradein 328xi w/ 80k miles. 3 questions: good deal or how much can i negotiate this to? Is it good to buy loaner cars from dealer? What can i expect agood trade in price?

Thanks a ton for your help and response...
  • I'll post this on the lease page since it seems there is more action there; but my question is simple: I have been offered 2013 528xi for $11,000 below msrp. Not sure about applicability of incentives, but car has 7000 miles on it. thanks.

Hi, I am new to this forum. Just negotiated a lease on a 2013 535i x-drive with following options:
    36 months / 12,000 miles per year
    Alpine White, Black Dakota Leather
M-Sport, Premium, Cold Weather, Navigation, Rearview Camera, Park Distance.

Total MSRP $65025 including $925 destination fee.

Monthly payment $679 with $2700 upfront which includes 1st month payment, NJ taxes, registration, etc

    Is this a good deal?

    Make sure it isn't a trade assist/buyback.

Even in a lease, you should know the sales price and dealer cost, not just the MSRP. Configure the car on bmwconfig.com. You should be about $500.00 over invoice before the application of credits (build credit, loyalty, etc.) If you are in NJ, you should get your first months payment paid by BMW. That is a local tri-state special. Try not to put much down, this way if the car gets totaled or stolen, you are not out of pocket.

Also, get a quote from a few dealers.

Not enough info. Need the MSRP and the dealer cost. Go to bmwconfig.com for that or Edmunds. You haven't told us the purchase price.

See if the dealer is having a BMW The Ultimate Driving Experience at the dealership. I went to one at BMW of Tenafly last week and got a voucher for another $1,000.00 off.
