Most of the automotive press seems to compliment the interiors, but having looked at quite a few trim levels on both the Chevy and GMC variants they all come across as "old-GM", for lack of better description. They may be nicer than the outgoing Tacoma and Frontier but I suspect that's just because those models are so old. Compared to most of GM's recent car and CUV/SUV interiors, the interior on these trucks is a letdown. Cheap rubberized and hard plastics all over the place, cheap looking switchgear, instrument cluster and not the best fit and finish on the early trucks I looked at.
