  • May I ask for the Residual value and MF for A4 24 month or 36 month, for 10K/year?

    Thank you
  • Hi ekh443. Audi Financial Services' October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 A4 Premium Plus Sedan with quattro and 15,000 miles per year are .00114 and 55% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

  • Certainly ranwangx. Audi Financial Services' October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24-month lease of a 2013 A4 Sedan Premoum Plus quattro with 15,000 miles per year are .00114 and 65%.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 36-month lease .00114 and 58%.

This vehicle's lease program varies by trim level.

  • 2013 A4 premium plus with MMI navigation system, metallic paint, advanced key.
Down payment $3,500 (cash down and value of trade)
12,000 miles per year over 36 months is $599 (includes all fees, Audi care)
(Add $34 dollars per month for 15,000)

Is this reasonable for 650 - 700 credit score?
    Thanks!
  • Additional info.

    MSRP $43,685
    Selling Price $43,085 + $600 for transporting a car

    Residual value = $25,337.30
  • Hey guys just wondering if this is a good deal. I am looking to lease an A4 prestige with S line package. This is my offer

    36 months
    15,000 miles per year
    Money factor -0.0094
    Residual value -50% =$24,410
$0 total out of pocket (just sign and drive)
$779.68 inc tax and all fee’s

The MSRP on the car is 48820. However I get a discount which is 6% MSRP

    Erik
  • This is mine.

2013 Audi A4 Premium Plus + almost full options
    MSRP $45,000
    Audi Care + $850
    36 months
    15,000 miles per year
    Residual value : 58% = $26,000
    $3,500 down
$600 / mo inc tax and all fee's

I tried to negotiate with other dealers with that offer but nobody was willing to give me better offer. So, that was the best offer at least in my area.
  • Thanks

This is the newest offer. Still not sure if it's good.

50% Residual and money factor is .0011436 months
    15,000 miles
$0 total down sign and drive
    $722 a month
  • Feedback. Plz. Just leased an Audi.

    Here is mine.

    2013 Audi A4 Quattro Prem.
Conv packg + Lighting packg + heated seat
    Blk pearl color. (450)
    Audi care (800)

Residual value was 0.52. MF value, I can't recall.
MSRP was 38560 + Audi Care
    Dealer invoice was 36k+

400 monthly. 3250 down. "Out the door" price. Meaning no other cost.
    12k mile/year. For 42 month.

Was this at least a okay deal?">
  • Are you guys for real????? are these A4 or S4s because i know these are just about S4 prices

$3500 and $600 a month? Id never buy an Audi. I know someone pushing these cars out in the 400s and S4 in the 600s
  • The price is various depending on trim and options. A4 for 400s/mo should be Premium w/o MMI pkg with probably 10,000 miles/yr or 12,000 miles/yr. Audi Care which costs $30/mo is also an option. Moreover, difference between monthly payment of A4 and one of S4 is around 60$~70$ which is not that big if the A4 is premum plus with all possible options. I also checked out S4 and the dealer offered $680/mo.

My point is the prices that these guys paid for their A4s are reasonable. Yes, they may not be the BEST in US but still reasonable. The thing is that other dealers in my area denied to give me better offers than that. :(

You can get an S4 lease in the mid-to-high $600s....with money down or a Premium Plus with virtually no options. Or maybe you are referring to 2012 models being moved off the lot?

If you want to talk apples to apples, post all the terms of the A4 and S4 leases being offered by the person that you know (sales price, residual, money factor, down payment, incentives, etc.).
  • Car Man, can you please give me any feedback on this offer?

A4 Premium Plus inclusive of convenience & light pkgs; no MMI, AT, Silver/Tan
    Price: $39,074
    MSRP: $40,660
    10K/yr, 42 month lease
    Residual: 54%
    MF: .00084
$485/month with $1968 out of pocket
    Audi covers first payment
  • Hi mjjackson76. The buy rate lease money factor for this car is .00064. So the factor that you're being charged is a little high.

Let's take a look at this car's selling price. There is a spread of around $2,769 between this model's MSRP and dealer invoice price. That puts you at around $1,100 or so over invoice. That's not bad, but if you are in an area that has a decent level of competition, I suspect that you can do better than that.

Do you know the money factor and residual for an A4 quattro sedan, 3 years and 15k miles?

I have an MSRP of $36,735 and sales price of $34,530. He said if I put $2k down, my payments would be $475.

Also, can you explain me how it works if you have equity in your car at lease end. If I trade in my car to another dealer (like BMW), can they do the payoff directly to Audi? So if it's a $20k payoff and BMW offers $23k, can they pay it off directly without paying taxes? Or do I have to pay it off, pay taxes and then trade it in to BMW? I have read various things about Audi's lease policy. Thanks, Car_man!

Car_Man, Can you also please give me the money factor and residual for a A4 Quattro premium plus, 15k miles and three years? Thank you!!
  • Car_man or anyone,

I have never leased a vehicle before and I am planning to lease an Audi A4 with prestige package(just because it has navigation and rear view camera). Can anyone tell me where can I get the best deal. I don't have a problem having only 10K miles per year on that. Please suggest me a good dealer in Northern Virginia area and how to get better discounts and APR rates.

Got the A4 quattro with lighting and convenience package last week.

    $38,150 MSRP
    $34,861 sales price
    plus $850 for audicare
    15k miles and 3 years
    55% residual value
    0.00064 money factor
    Audi paid first month payment
    $1,000k down total
    $501 a month
Payments include TTL (live in Texas)

I had to negotiate the money factor -- one dealer admitted .00064 was the base rate, but that they marked it up to 0.00128.
  • Hello tank12. Audi Financial Services' December buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 A4 Sedan Premium Plus quattro with 15,000 miles per year are .00064 and 54%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

If you have a significant amount of equity in your vehicle you might be able to use that to your advantage in negotiations with a different dealer at lease-end, but don't assume that is going to happen because it usually is not the case.

  • Greetings madhureloaded. I don't know any specific Virginia dealers that are good, but I can tell you how leasing works. Since you are new to leasing, you definitely should check out the following informative articles on the subject that are available here at Edmunds.com: 10 Steps to Leasing a New Car and Calculate Your Own Lease Payment.

In short, the easiest way to get a good deal on a leased vehicle is to shop around for the lowest possible selling price and then have the dealer that you decide to go with calculate your vehicle's monthly payment using its buy rate lease money factor.

    Hi Car_man,

This my first time leasing a car. I am looking to lease Audi A4 2.0T Quattro Tiptronic in Seattle, WA area.

    Below are specs.

Ext. Color: Phantom Black Pearl Effect
    Int. Color: S Line Black
    Audi Connect
IPOD Cable for Audi Music Interface
    S Line Sports Package
    Prestige Package

    Dealer Gave me following figures
    Estimated Total MSRP $48670
    Residual Value: 49%
    Money Factor is 0.00124.
    Miles/Year 10000

Does this sound correct? Based on your previous posts looks like Money factor is way too much? Right?

    Thanks
    Mav.

  • Hey guys... just wanted to get an idea of what you think about this lease offer?

    2013 Audi A4 - Premium 2.0T Automatic CVT
    Options:
    -Convenience package
    -Lighting package
    -Wheel locks
    -Chrome exhaust tips

    MSRP: $35,735

Trade in equity on my old A5: -$500
    Audi loyalty: -$1000

Negotiated price with incentives and trade-in: $31,300

    Audi care: +$820

FINAL NEGOTIATED PRICE INCLUDING AUDI CARE: $32,120

    42-month lease
    52% residual
    10k miles/yr
    .00071 money factor
    $695 acq fee

    Residual: $18,582
$0 security deposit, $0 down, $0 drive-off (walk off the lot paying nada)

Monthly payment: $376 (includes CA 8.75%)

    Should I pull the trigger?
    Thanks,
    Mike
  • Just a correction to the above...
$32,120 final price does NOT include the trade in
The $500 trade-in is going towards the cap-reduction/up front cost

    Thanks!
  • Welcome Mav. You're right, the money factor that you were quoted is indeed too high. Audi Financial Services' current buy rate for a 36-month lease of this car is only .00064 for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

  • Car_Man,

Have the leasing rates and details changed since December on a 2013 A4 Premium Plus quattro? This will be by first time getting a car on my own and I want to go there with some insight. I would like a 36 month lease, 15,000 miles with a convenience and lighting package. Do you know what the spread is on that? Also, what are the lease rates for it?

    Thanks,

    Brit
  • First post guys and been reading a lot on here. I am looking at a 2013 Audi A4 Premium Plus with Navigation and with smart key and in phantom black.

    MSRP at $41,195
36 mo lease with 15,000 miles
    Cost:
    $3,000 down
    $499/mo

Any insight on if this is a good deal? I am currently in another lease for my current car with 2 payments remaining ($750 total) but am also about $900 over my mileage. Car is in good condition and am thinking I will try and get Audi to buy that car out and that way I won't get stuck with final 2 payments or the mileage costs.
But wanted to get opinions on the current lease and if that sounded like a good deal? Thanks!
