  • I am waiting for the full lease breakdown in writing, but I'd like to run the out-the-door figures past the experts:

Sterling Gray Metallic SE sedan, automatic, 203A, sport, and winter, 36mo/15k, including TTT (new plates and 9% PA tax on the lease)
    $2,929 down
    $275 /mo

Also would consider (perhaps prefer) a base SEL if the numbers work, and if I can find one! The salesman of the car I'm looking at now says because of all the promotions on the SE, and higher residual VS the SEL, it wouldn't make sense. But he also doesn't have an SEL to sell me sooo...
  • Please let me know if you have any info on the residual/rate for leases. I'm particularly interested in a SE hatchback. Thanks.

  • I'm looking to find the residual % and lease factor on 2012 Ford Focus 27 Month/12, 000 and the same on a 36 month/12,000 - leasing in New York (if it matters) any assistance would really be appreciated.
  • Jcola16, according to the latest information that I have seen, Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 24-month lease of a 2012 Focus Sedan S with 12,000 miles per year in your area are 0.75% and 62%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tiers.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 36-month lease are 2.5% and 56%.

  • Is the residual value for the Focus Hatchback still slightly lower than for the sedan? I am looking for a 36-month lease with 12k miles/year.
  • CarMan,

Is the residual and buy rate different on a 2012 Focus SE sedan, 12k, 24 or 27 months? Thanks a lot.

    Hi Car_man

Hoping you could help me out with a lease question regarding the 2012 Ford Focus 5 door Hatchback SEL with options 301A. Could you help supply the residual and money factor for this car MSRP $23625?

We would probably choose between 10k and 12k per year, 36 months at most.

Your help is greatly appreciated in deciding between the Focus and Mazda 3.

    -thx!

  • Hello Car_Man, You seem to be the man with all the answers. What do the numbers look like for a Focus Titanium Sedan in April. I'm looking at 10,500 or 12,000 miles. I'm in Minnesota if there is regional variation.

    Thanks.

I guess that I am, kjdiscuss ;) . Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2012 Focus Titanium Sedan with 12,000 miles per year in Minnesota are 3.0% and 55%, respectively.

The residual value for a lease with only 10,500 miles per year would be 1% higher.

Ford is currently providing a $250 cash incentive on leases of this car.

    Hello
I am looking to lease a Focus 5d SE+sport (in NJ). I am looking for money factor, residual and any special offers for May. Probably looking at 12k for 36mo.
    Thanks so much

  • I was approved for a Tier 1 Ford Motor Credit lease. I first looked at a Ford Fusion SE with Sun and Sync Package as this is what they were advertising on TV. With a 10,500 mile lease on 24 months, my payment would be 192.94 (w tax) and $2740.72 Down due at signing including first month payment. I get Xplan pricing with my work and they told me this is the absolute best deal I can get. The residual is $15790.95 which is 63%.

The second option to my surprise was to lease an SEL (fully loaded w/o appearance pack) model Fusion for 194.96 for 24 months with a residual of $18,851.20. 62%. Same down payment. I am trying to understand with Xplan pricing if this is a good deal on either of these. I would like a 12,000 mile lease, but it will be roughly be about $12 a month they said would take my payment to $208. I have to bring the car back tomorrow and make a decision. I was going to ask them to split the difference on the mileage extra so I could stay at $199. The residual seems high on these but I will probably turn the car in because I will be upside down at the lease turn in. What are anybodys thoughts on these? Should I go for it with the xplan or am I getting taken? Please help. I am a first time lease customer. Also, the manager said the xplan was $125-150 above invoice and I am getting the "best deal anybody can get". Thanks.

Trying to make a deal on a Focus Sedan SEL w/ 303A, navigation, and winter package. This is my 3rd Focus, but 1st lease. I'm really worried the numbers are bad.

The Ford package discounts are throwing off my calculations. The MSRP is $24,555 but that is after the package and sync discounts on the window sticker ($365 and $395, respectively). Dealer says the residual, 58% is based on the non-discounted $25315. Does that make sense??

I'm being offered $316/month, 58%, 3%, $449 due at signing for 36/10,500. Selling price is supposedly $23,100 after $250 rebate. Is 3% the current buy rate?

I'm in Detroit, and they say I'm doing better than X-Plan, but just barely. Leasing makes sense for me this time, but I much prefer purchasing. These numbers are making me so nervous!!

    Annie
  • Hi again Car_man,

Do you have the lease money factor and residual for a 36-month lease of a Focus ST Hatchback with 12K miles per year? Or is there another program with a better combination of LMF and residual? I only drive about 6K miles/year so I could go down on mileage too if they offer it. Thanks again!

    Ben
  • Hi Ben. Ford Credit's December base lease rate and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 Focus ST Hatchback with 12,000 miles per year are 2.25% to 2.5% (varies by region) and 52%.

You should be able to do a lease with 10,500 miles per year. The residual value for that would be 1% higher.

    Hi Car Man,

Was hoping you could please give me the Ford Credit January residual and money factors for both 24 and 36 month leases as 10.5k miles per year for the 4 Door Focus SE. Thanks in advance.
  • I'd be happy to help you out benneyb. Ford Credit's January base lease rate and residual value for a 24-month lease of a 2013 Focus SE 4 Door with 10,500 miles per year are 1.0% and 66%.

Ford is providing cash incentives on leases of this car right now, but they vary by region. If you tell me what state you are in I should be able to give you an idea of what they should be like in your area.
