  • Picked up a 2013 Accord Sport in December, from Weymouth Honda, MA.
    Annual 15,000 miles
    Payment $ 303.10 x 35 months (includes CT Tax)
Down $ 0 Sign and Drive.

    Adjusted Cap Cost. $ 23,251
    Residual $ 14,988

Paid 175 at the DMV. I had to register and get plates. Out of state sale.

Best Car buying experience ever from these guys. Simple, straight forward and absolutely NO-runaround. I was there less than 1.5hr.

    Hope that helps.

Might want to investigate the vibration issue with the VCM on the new Accord V-6 engine before jumping on that lease. Many complaints.

    MSRP: $26,195.00
Adj. Market Value: $26,195.00 what does this mean?
    Discount: $2,158.07
    Vehicle Price: $24,036.93
    DMV Fees: $372.49
    Dealer Service Fee: $699.00
    First Payment $338.13
Delivered Price: $25,446.55 out the door right ???
    Lease Monthly
    Out of Pocket 36 mos.
    $745.62 $338.13
    Annual Miles 15,000
Residual $15,717.00 how does the residual look is it good ?
now this dealer does not give you any perks no tints no roadside only first oil change free is it really a good deal Im not sure but the monthly payments are very low. is that a good thing? even if the due at signing is $745. it is still the lowest out the door

    Help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I'd like to help you out, but first you need to take some initiative as opposed to throwing out a bunch of numbers many of which you do not understand. For example, you provide a "Delivered Price". Did you ask the dealer what that represents? It certainly isn't an out the door price. If you take $25,447, back out the $372 DMV fees, that leaves $25,075. Back out the 7% Miami Dade tax (would have been considerate of you to provide your tax rate instead of me having to look it up), and the cost of the car would be $23,435. Well, if you can get it for $600 under invoice, buy a dozen, then go to the Prices Paid board and sell them all at a nice profit to others who are looking for an Accord.
You're also the first person to ask whether a residual is good so I'm guessing you're not familiar with what a residual represents or how it impacts the monthly lease payment.
Please do a little research on the web regarding how leasing works, learn about capitalized costs, residuals and moneyfactors, then get a breakdown of the numbers from these dealers and I will be happy to advise you.
  • Car Man -

Can you please post the 10k & 12k residual & money factor for an Accord Sport 4 door? Are they the same for the six speed manual & the cvt, because I haven't decided on which I want at this time.

    Thanks Car Man!

  • Hi nvnick1. Honda Finance's February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 Accord Sedan Sport 4-cylinder with 12,000 miles per year are .00155 and 61% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The type of transmission that the car has does not have an impact upon its lease program.

If you can do a lease with only 10,000 miles per year, its residual value would be 1% higher.
