  • I would shoot for lower. We got into a 4wd 2013 Honda Pilot for 215/month. We traded in our 05 Honda CRV. It seems to me that you could get financing to buy a brand new one and have that payment. You might as well buy one. The incentive to lease is very low payments. That's my opinion.
  • I would run and not look back. I got into a 2013 FWD Honda Pilot for 219.00/month. I traded in an 04 CRV. If they wont give you that deal, tell them you are calling the coporate office and report them.
  • Ummmm NO. The leasing incentive is to have low payments. My lease of the 2013 Pilot 4wd was 219/month trading in our 04CRV. Man you can have that payment buying one.
  • Does Anyone know what the current specials are for the Honda Pilot after March 4th? Looking at a Pilot EX-L

    2013 LX-2WD for

    15,000 miles
    $354 monthly payment
    36 Months
    $441 down (includes fee/taxes) + 1 month
    No trade-in
It also includes free oil changes, servicing and tire insurance for $12 (I figured I would be spending about $10/month just on oil changes)
    56% residual
    Selling price: $27424

    Decent deal or rip-off?

I hurried the deal as it was getting late and they were the only ones that had the color I wanted within an hour's drive. I have top tier credit score.

    Hmm,

Wonder what that 215 will look like in 3 years when this lease is up and no more 05 crv to trade in on the next one? :) 390 is with zero (zip zilch as in no trade or cash) down. What they call "sign and drive". If they put 5500 down then their payment would be 215 also but putting money down is not the best financial advise for several reasons.

Assuming an average cost for your 04CRV as $6000 and lease period for 3 years, the actual monthly payment would be more than $385.

Hi laurie9973. Honda Finance's March buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 Pilot EX-L 4WD with 15,000 miles per year are .00055 and 53% for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Super Preferred" credit tier.

Honda is providing an $800 dealer cash incentive on this truck this month. Make sure to take it into account when negotiating your selling price.

Honda is advertising this truck at $359 per month for 36 months with a $2,240 down payment. You should be able to do better than that by negotiating.

What are the numbers for 12K a month?

    Thanks
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Posts: 38,515
Hi jm2009. 12,000 miles per month sure would be a lot of driving ;). Honda Finance's residual values for a lease with 12,000 miles per year would be 2% higher than its residual values for leases with 15,000 miles per year.

Got a 2013 4WD EX-L 12,000 miles per yr, 3 yr lease, nothing down, nothing at signing, first month included $372/month
I did get a $1000 trade on a 1999 Odyssey with 160,000 miles, transmission going, check engine light on, brakes going, left side door not working.

I think I got a good deal. Any comments? I do realize they may have low balled the trade in a bit.
  • $1000 / 35 mnths ~ 28$ a month is what they're giving you....so Without giving them a car it'd be roughly $400 mnth, which is what I paid for same vehicle 2 months ago.. I'm happy. (Dealer took my leased beat-up Black 2011 Pilot EX-L
-12 months early-! and walked out in a shiney new one White one- ) just needed a pen..payment didn't change a dime!)
I suppose you should be happy too...unless like you said, they really low balled your Odyssey - :lemon:
Enjoy.! The ride is more Car like- and check out that new CD ripper, and new portable flash (thumb) drive player!

Negotiated deal for a 2013 4WD EX... Here are terms:

-- 3 yrs, 18,000 miles per year (needed the extra miles)
-- $1,600 out of pocket (includes only tax, title, fees, and first month's payment)
    -- $372 per month

At 15K miles annually the offer is $360 with $1,500 at signing

Offer is on the table. Haven't decided yet. Sound like a fair deal?
  • I am looking at leasing an EX 2WD in Central Florida, but so far, my quotes are coming in over $400. Where did you get you $385 / $0 down rate? Thanks in advance.
  • We are new to the leasing world and were given the following deal yesterday (we have not taken yet); would love your opinion:
2013 Pilot EXL 2WD; running boards added
    $3500 tradein
zero down, $430 per month lease for 36 months; .20 cent per mile overage cost

Would love your thoughts, we are in Los Angeles

    Hello,

We are looking for April's buy rate and residual for a 36 mo. 15,000 mi lease. 2013 Honda Pilot 4WD Touring.

    Thanks so much!
  • That seems high. We just leased a 2013 Pilot EX-L 4WD 36 month/12,000 miles a year for $372 a month. No money down.

We traded in our 2011 Santa Fe for above KBB value and put the $600 in equity towards first month's payment and fees.

I would call around to several different dealers. We did, and they all fought to earn our business late last week. Picked up the car on Saturday. Today is the day to make your deal as it is the last day of the month!

I just negotiated lease deal on 2013 Pilot EX AWD.
36 months, 18K miles per year.
$0 down (taxes, fees, first month payment only, total of $1,600)
    $372 per month.

I ended up purchasing the vehicle instead. Used TrueCar.com to get low estimate in my region (upstate New York), and asked dealer to match. Which they did. They also agreed to throw in dealer-installed roof rails, towing harness and towing kit (probably $700 of add-ons). Total price (not including tax and fees): $30,500.

OK so is this deal to good to be true or does it seem fair. I was offered a lease deal of 36 months, 12k, 400.00 dollars down on a pilot LX for 298.89 a month tax in. Another dealer I was quoted 349.00 tax in a month no money down for an EX model. Same lease term of 36 months, 12k a year. What is the better deal? Two different dealers. The EX is a little nicer however it seems a bit pricey. Please help?

Hi there. Was wondering if you could tell me where you leased this vehicle and the specs. Would really help the family out if I could get a similar deal. Thanks.

I leased my car through Coral springs Honda. It was 298.89 a month, 400.00 down. It was a base LX model that they had in stock. 36 month lease, 12k a year. The EX model was at Honda of Delray, they were willing to work a better deal, but I am cheap and went with the cheaper model

Am interested in buying or leasing a 2WD Pilot EX-L or EX-L Navi in the N. Texas (DFW) area. Can anyone share their experience with buying/leasing this vehicle? I would not need more than 12K miles/year on a lease. I am currently leasing a 2011 Accord EXL V6 with Navi, should be able to walk away from it on a trade.
