I am looking to buy 2011 ES350 with below configuration
    - Navigation
    - Full Size Spare Tire with 17-inch alloy wheels
    - Heated and ventilated front seats
    - Power Rear Sunshine
    - Rear Lip Spoiler
    - Intuitive Parking Assit
    - Wood & Leather Steering Wheel & Shift Knob
    - Preferred Accessory Package : Cargo Net, Trunck Mat, Wheel Locks, Rear Bumper Applique

I live in Los Angeles, California and got an offer for $41000 out of the door including all taxes, registration etc... I am targetting around $38000. Has anyone had experience of getting the above configuration at $38000 Out of the Door price?

What would be the best deal below invoice?

    Thank you for the feedbacks!

Do this cal and see if the dealer quote is near...

MSRP - 11% - $3,000 - $1,000 (if you owned Lexus before - customer appreciation, if available) + 8.8% (if you buy in Chandler) + $900 (doc fee, title, etc)

Remember, the $3,000 incentive is for 2010 models but 2012 ES will be introduced early next year so don't hesitate to bargain.

For $37,435 MSRP, OTD should not be more than $34,000 (w/o the $1,000 customer appreciation)...hope this helps!!! Good Luck.

    The $38,250 included the following:
-Preferred accessory package-net, mats, locks etc
-Wood and leather wheel and shift knob
    -Heated and ventilated seats
    -Full size spare
    -HID lights

Again, my 29,761 or $8,489 off with $750 military rebate or $7739 off st $30,511 without it.

GOT MY 2010 Lexus ES350! I got the dealer from 35050 to $34,900 via email last night. This morning they accepted butttttt......I just happened to be on the other side of town when I decided to stop by a Lexus dealer that I had talked to via internet and told them what I wanted about 4 days earlier. I went in and told them I had a deal in place and I was giving them 1 shot to beat the deal. Of course they wanted to know the deal and I told them it was a deal that I was happy with. So they went over what options I wanted, color, tint etc. They gave me a quote of $35,000 OTD. I told them they didn't beat it and got up to leave. As I excited the dealership they came running out and told me how about $34,500 OTD. I told them I was now interested. They went and got the car, I test drove it. Here is what I got......No/nav,Preferred Package, HH WU FS, Int Parking, tint. The only thing it didn't have was a spoiler. I feel like a made a very good deal!

    Base 33,995.00
    All inluded - 36937.00 :D

congrats...but imo you kinda used the other dealer for what amounted to $ 200.00. The spoiler (which I have ) is 210.00 list,,,,so that would have put you @ 34700 in even comparison...I guess imo it would have been fair to give first very good offer to come in @ 34,700 to earn your business. Just my thoughts but more importantly welcome to Lexus Club...you wont be disappointed. For all new Lexus owners a good site to keep with newest on-goings and lexus info..I reccomend clublexus.com ( community-forum ). Congrats on new Lexus !

The one in Oxnard. They still have more than a handful on their lot. I'm sure if you negotiate some more, you'd get a few more dollars off.

Thanks for the information. I will post if I purchase one and let you know what I paid.

Got a quote from Lexus of Akron Canton for ES 350 of $34,359.(MSRP $37,435) I am thinking I should be able to get it down some yet. I am gong to shoot for $33K all they can do is say no
  • soonerfan77soonerfan77 Member Posts: 2
Wound up going with an out the door price of $34,700.38. MSRP $42,019 on the car from post #2578.

Feeling good about the deal especially since the color combo I wanted was difficult to find.
  • vt2010vt2010 Member Posts: 13
It is the best deal ( If out the door $34,700.38 then I guess before tax, doc, lic is around $31,000.00 ). Thanks
  • vt2010vt2010 Member Posts: 13
I did check with a couple dealers (LA and OC area), they all wanted 1 or 2K over sticker price for 2011.

There is $3000 cash back to dealer on model 2010 but not on 2011.
For 2010, if sticker price around $37, 200 (NO NAV), you can get it for $30,100 or lower. It means nearly 20% off sticker price.

Please, let us know if you find a good deal for 2011. Thanks

I am looking at a 2011 Lexus ES 350, but there are none that have the options I want so it will need to be special ordered. I want Mark Levinson/Nav,PS,HL,HH,PA,WU,HN, and FS. (This represents everything in the UL package except the semi-aniline seats and the panorama sunroof). To make a long story short, Edmunds shows the MSRP as $44,665, Invoice as $39,764, and TMV as $43,173. The TMV represents only 3.4% discount off of MSRP. Considering the 2010's are closing out, and the vehicle is special ordered, is this the best price I should expect? I just don't know the rules of negotiating a price for a new model special ordered vehicle.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Making my contribution to the forum:
Bought a 2010 ES 350 yesterday in Northern VA. Here are the details:
Options: Full size spare wheel, heated and ventilated seats, HID swivel head lamps, wood & leather steering wheel & shift knob, body moldings, cargo net, trunk mat, wheel locks
    - Car: 31,600

    - OTD: 32,600

Let me know how I did (good / bad).
  • vt2010vt2010 Member Posts: 13
    It is a good deal.

I guess the MSRP is around $37,435.
Same car and option if in Los Angeles, CA customer has to pay OTD $ 33,265
    (Tax and Lic is $3100)

The MSRP was 38,449; Tax in VA is 3%

And to correct the typo: The OTD was :$32,660

Hello,I'm in a 2008 ES and have 4 months left on my lease, rec an offer from Lexus about getting out early. Went to see my options and like the 2010 ES - they have an ULTRA on the lot loaded with a sticker price of $44,436, they are offering me 36 mo/15k for $595 inc tax with $1,395 oop. This still seems high since EDMUNDS is showing the car at much less plus I read there is $3k in dealer support. What do you think is best deal they will do on this?

Can I ask on which dealer it was. i am working woth Massapequa, NY and he got stuck at 34500/- plus TTRL

I am in negotiations on purchasing a 2010 ES350 with Heated/Ventilated seats and full size spare for 31,100. I am also being offered 3.49% interest for up to 60 months (I have over a 760 credit). The dealer has located my second choice car and it is on the way to them. Another dealer just contacted me via e-mail and stated they can get me my first choice color (truffle Mica) with the same options as the first car for 31,017. They also stated they can give me 1.9% financing. Does it seem like the first dealer is trying to make a few extra bucks by raising the interest rate on the car as opposed to the second dealer? Any help would be appreciated as I am reluctant to go with the second dealer because I feel the first dealer did a decent amount of work trying to help me and i would feel like I am screwing him.

    Thanks!
  • ansjoeansjoe Member Posts: 8
    1) Second dealer is a) offering the car you want, (b) at lower price, and, (c) at a lower APR. So that seems to be a slam dunk
    2) 3.49% APR is a good rate, but you should be able to negotiate lower with the first one if that is what you want.

In general, dealers are allowed overages / underages for loans. They get to keep the profits if they can sell you an APR that is higher than what the finance company is charging them for a particular borrower. I think that is what is happening in your case.
  • d_nyholmd_nyholm Member Posts: 80
Thanks for the response. Questions is, with a company like Infiniti Financial Services, I believe they offer set interest rates on their specials. I'm trying to find out if Lexus is similar. Like anyone over 750 credit is eligible for up to 1.9% and it is published? I know they are offering 1.9% on 2011, but I don't see it anywhere for 2010. Do you think that could be the case?

The first dealer has been trying to get this car from the second dealer, but the second dealer is reluctant to give it up...I have a feeling it is because I have been negotiating with them as well...they think they have the car sold.
  • d_nyholmd_nyholm Member Posts: 80
Second dealer reneged on the 1.9% and said the best they can do is 3.8%. :(

    Sorry to hear that.

Buy the car who ever offers the best price and get finance from AAA - saw an ad that said 2.99% APR and your FICO should get you the best rate.

    All the best.

    Hi,

Just purchased a new lexus ES350 2010 for $31,000 OTD (doesn't include taxes) from Northern California dealer. Includes the wood and leather trimmed steering & shift knob,
    heated & ventilated front seats,
    memory system,
    electrochromic outside mirror,
    full size spare tire,
    cargo mat & net

Think I got a good deal!
  • vt2010vt2010 Member Posts: 13
I think it is a good deal, too.
How about the Total MSRP price? Is it $37,435 ?
    Thanks

I recently leased a new 2010 Lexus ES350 (with NAV) for $508/mo/15k miles/36 months in NJ. This includes tax and Gap Ins. This also includes scheduled maintenance for up to 40K miles. Down payment at signing was $1,696 (1st mo. pmt, $700 bank fee, registration, docs). Cap cost of car was $35,437 and residual is $21,432. Is this is a fair price? Thanks.
  • kenb757kenb757 Member Posts: 149
    I'm estimating:

    35437 - 21432 - 508 = 13497 / 36 = $374.92/mo + interest + tax

You are borrowing $13497 + tax for 36 mos. Interest rate is the big variable.

I got the same option = MSRP price (SoCal ) but total OTD price is $33,265

My dealer in the Seattle, WA area is offering $35,000 OTD for a MSRP $37,455. From what I'm reading, this doesn't sound like such a great deal as everyone else seems to be getting around the 33k range OTD. I feel like I've really fought to get to $35. Am I doing something wrong? Or is the lack of number of dealerships in Seattle area (less competition) driving up the cost compared to CA and elsewhere?
  • vt2010vt2010 Member Posts: 13
Lexus has $3000 cash back to dealer for 2010 model, expired on Nov 1st, 2010.
During that time, I believe it is easy to negotiate than now, In October 2010, all the dealers which I checked, they wanted 1 or 2 thousand over MSRP for 2011 model

Buy 2011 model (MSRP is only a couple hundred dollar more than 2010) I think it maybe better because it uses regular unleaded (instead of premium) but not with price over sticker price. If you want the best value, Camry XLE V6 is less expensive, look identical ES350, low maintenance cost. (Ex: Special oil change only $30 vs Lexus ES350 oil change $99)
  • lexhoulexhou Member Posts: 81
vt2010.... you cant be serious about comparing that Camry to the Lexus. you've been reading too much....so why in the heck did you go by a new Lexus...should have got a Camry right. ?? The ES350 is far more superior in too many way to describe here, and I feel sorry for your financial decsion if indeed in your mind you thk the Camry has same ride as Lexus...bad move on your part.
  • vt2010vt2010 Member Posts: 13
lexhou...I mean the Camry look identical to ES350 but I did not mean the Camry is as good as ES350. Some newspapers and/or magazines did mention the best value is the Camry but luxury is the ES350 so it is up to the consumer. I just shared what I read, I do not have enough info to compare and have no intention to compare them.
  • stevewilson1stevewilson1 Member Posts: 21
Thanks for the info. Many years ago I owned a Camry xle and it was a decent vehicle. I am going to try to see if I can locate a northern California Lexus dealer to meet the OTD prices others are receiving on their ES350's. I can fly to CA free and living in WA, it's a fairly easy and beautiful drive.and it's worth saving close to 2k. Seattle dealers won't negotiate (I understand that $3000 back to dealer has been extended to 11/18/10).
  • charliern9charliern9 Member Posts: 22
I heard this offer was extended through 11/18 and wondered if this offer applied to leases in any way? Also, does anyone in the Atlanta area have any information or figures on the 2011 ES350? Thanks!

    Hi

I am new to whole leasing game and I think I've made a big mistake! I have signed the initial binder for a 2011 ES350 lexus. I am leasing the car for 3 years, with 10,000 miles in NYC, Long Island. MSRP 41,984. The dealer offered 39,301.95. It is obsidian, interior black semi-Aniline, money factor 0.0022, residual % 59, full STS and nav with bose speakers. It is supposed to be the costco negotiated price.
    Please help.

    Thanks ever so much

I'm still trying to find out if anyone in the Atlanta area has any lease deals on a 2011 ES350 that they can share. Since I'm not completely certain on leasing a 2011 I'd also appreciate hearing from anyone who recently leased a 2010 ES. My lease on my 2008 is up in a few months so i need to start researching new deals.
    Thanks alot, Charlie

    The dealer is offering $33500 ODD for a MSRP $41215, 2010 ES350 w/ navi.
    ODD will be about $36500.
Do you think this is a good deal or I can shoot for more deal?
  • pbundypbundy Member Posts: 5
I paid $500 more than that without navigation in Sept! Sounds like a good idea. Grab the car and run. Even though I perhaps did not get the best deal in town, I do love the car.
  • sjk201sjk201 Member Posts: 2
My mistake.. it's appx. $33500 just for the car and $36500 ODD.

It seems like a good deal...
  • stevewilson1stevewilson1 Member Posts: 21
Where in the world are you getting this deal? In WA they won't deal. I did get a decent deal in CA for a 2010 MSRP 37,735 for $34700 OTD (obviously without NAV). I just need to decide if I really want to fly down and drive the vehicle back.
  • berman2921berman2921 Member Posts: 36
On 10/17/10 I paid $33,000 before taxes and fees for 2010 ES350 with the $41,215 MSRP. It came to $35,600 on the road. Got it from Lindsay lexus in VA
