Can you perhaps work up a lease figure for me? I am looking to lease a 2011 MKX AWD before month end. One question - my current lease ends in January 2011 - what are your thoughts about holding out on leasing in 2010 and waiting until 2011? I figure I might be safer doing a lease now versus later due to residuals.

Here is what was worked up @ the dealer.
    MSRP - $50,235
    Negotiated Price - $46,919
Term - 39 months - was told they would do 39 versus 36 since it would be cheaper
    Residual - 56%
    MF - 3.75%

NO CAP COST REDUCTION please... & state of residency is NJ.

Secondly I also have a Costco membership so can go through Costco - but they are kind of a pain because no dealership will give you a quote over the phone (except BMW) any other dealer wants you to come in... And I also qualify for X plan pricing which currently shows $1,833 off of the sticker, and all additional $1,000 incentive. Lastly Lincoln has an $ 800 discount off of sticker called "NE Special Edition Discount" whatever that is. I had called Lincoln today and all of the "Lincoln Wish List $1,500 off... is for purchases only - apparently"

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    :)
    Thank you!

How do you like the MKX thus far? Two questions for you... First being, and please excuse the fact that I am clueless on wheels, what does the Chrome Clad wheel look like? Does it actually look like Chrome? I test drove one the other day but it had the Limited Edition Package wheels on it which are polished aluminum. Second question is what dealership did you lease your MKX through?

    Thank you :)

    Hi Car man,

Can you please give me the money factor and residual for a 2011 MKX AWD with 102a spec and limited edition package 39 months in NYC.

    Thanks in advance.
  • I'd be happy to help you out, prd928.

Ford Credit's January base lease rate and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2011 Lincoln MKX AWD in the NYC area with 15,000 miles per year are 2.0% and 52%, respectively.

When negotiating your lease on this vehicle, make sure to take advantage of the $500 cash incentive that is currently available on leases of it.

im sorry car man, i should have told you for 12,000 miles per year.
  • Bought an MXK with Premium Package and Elite Package, wood and floor mats. Paid -100 under invoice BEFORE applying incentives. If you shop around you can get a deal. Ford credit standard lease rates.

Car is great combination of ride and power. Love it.

    Enjoy the car.

Mind me asking what you paid for the car tennis?
  • No problem prd928. Ford Credit's 12,000 mile per year residual values are 2% higher than its 15,000 mile per year resids.

  • Hi. I'm hoping someone can help me with the current money factor and residual on a 2011 MKX with 12,000 miles per year. If it matters, I'm in Dallas. Does it vary between a 36 and 39 month lease? Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi scoobaguy. Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 Lincoln MKX AWD with 12,000 miles per year are 2.75% and 56%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are 3.0% and 54%.

    Carman,

Can you please post lease mf/residual for 2011 MKX -- 36 mos / 39 mos and low miles (10k/yr)?

    Many thanks!
  • Hello all,

there are currently a good deal on 2011 LINCOLN MKX ($1,500 Cash Back ) is available. My preliminary research on MF and Residual show favorable lease #s. My question is: how likely the dealer would go $1,500 below invoice to sell the car?
Car_man - can you please get us all an update on MF and Residual for MKX AWD Base 36Mo/12 or 10K. Also do you guys think Lincoln includes destination fees into the lease formula? I got my pilot 2.5 years ago, and they said destination fees never get included (not sure, maybe i was lucky?)
    thanks much,
great forum - all my frieds are using it.

Hello rdxer. Ford Credit's lease program for this truck varies by region. Its base 36 month lease rates for the 2011 Lincoln MKX are anywhere from 2.0% to 3.75%. If you tell me what state you are in, I should be able to tell you the specific rate that is currently available in you area.

Hi dannyhashovav. I could see a dealer in an area that has a decent level of competition coming close to dealer invoice on a lease of an '11 MKX, but I think that $1,500 under invoice is a little optimistic.

Ford Credit's current base lease rates for the Lincoln MKX vary by region. I can give you an idea of what this truck's current rate is in your area if you tell me what state you are in.

i am researching NY tristate area (36Mo/10K or 12 K). Also what fees in your opinion should be included/rolled into lease calculations assuming i target $0 down?

    regards,

You're very welcome Daniel. Ford Credit's May base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base 2011 Lincoln MKX AWD with 12,000 miles per year in its New York region are 2.0% and 55%, respectively.

The residual value for a lease with only 10,000 miles per year is 1% higher.

I am wondering if the following is a good price for the awd version:

Due at signing 3,400 and monthly payment is 299 ( not including tax) - 24 month lease.

I am in north new jersey.

    Thanks

    Paul

I am planning to lease a 2011 Lincoln MKX around Christmas this year. I'm pretty sure Lincoln will do their annual Winter Sales Event around then. I know I could get a 2012, but I might get a better deal seeing as the two models years do not differ too much and dealers will be trying to reduce 2011 inventory. I wanted to know if anybody got a good lease rate for the event last year. Also has anybody gotten a 24 month lease. I've seen these lease offers on the Lincoln website, but I was unsure how often people get them. What are the pros and cons to 24 months VS 36 or 39 months other than pricing?

I calculated an approximate lease of 763.18/mo. with zero down and zero discounts. Also one thing that may help is going to the Lincoln website, build a vehicle near the same price you negotiated (or build one to MSRP and then deduct down to the negotiated price) and calculate the lease at the end of the build process.

  • Hi joshcs1. While there is exceptions to this rule from time to time, generally speaking 36 and 39 month leases have lower payments than 24 month leases do.

  • Can someone help me out. I am looking to lease a base fwd for 36 months or 24 months with 15 k a year. What are the numbers? 2011 still leasing or is 2012 a better residual?
  • I got the following offer. MSRP of 41,575 selling price of $37887

just first month tag and title out of pocket

    39 months 15k 529 plus tax

    Seems high to me?
  • Hi discount80. Ford Credit's September base lease rate for a 24 month lease of a 2012 Lincoln MKX AWD is anywhere from 2.5% to 4.0%, depending upon what region you are in. The lease rates for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are 3.75% to 6.0%.

This truck's residual values for leases with 15,000 miles per year are 64% for 24 months and 55%.

    The numbers for the 2011 model are 0.5% / 50% for 24 months and 2.0% - 2.75% / 51% for 36 months.

    Car Man,

I need the residual and rate for 24 or 27 months, 10.5K on a 2012 FWD MKX.

Also. is the $595 acquisition fee still current or did they raise it.

    Thanks
  • Can someone help me out?

I am looking to lease a base MKX AWD for either 27 or 36 months with 19.5 k a year (Michigan).

Can someone tell me the factors and residuals for these lease terms?

    Also I can get a new 2011. Is a new 2012 a better deal w/regards to a residual?

    Thanks
  • Dear Car Man,

I just posted in regard to an Edge Limited. Also interested in an MKX FWD, 2011 or 2012 (I'm assuming that since the 2012 had no updates I would have the most leverage in negotiating a cap cost reduction). Do you have the December MF and residuals for the Dallas, TX market?

I didn't post in my Ford inquiry, but I would entertain 10k or 12k miles.

    Thanks,

    JB
