It's actually my mom's car, that's why I don't have the sticker in front of me but I was there and did the deal, she wrote the check. Hope that helps.
A friend referred me to the Lady I dealt with. My friend told me she was the fleet manager, her card says sales manager. My friend bought a car from her previously and has referred a couple people to her.
Bank fee is not negotiable, that is money that goes straight to Infiniti Finance.
I have never seen a residual that did tenths (or hundreds) of a percentage so that number does not look right. Did you try to back into that number, or is is the number the dealer gave you?
MF looks way too low as well and once again odd like the residual

It is a demo, so I figured the strange residual is probably to account for the fact that the car already has about 4K miles on it vs. a brand new one.
Residual = MSRP * Residual %
Rent Charge = Sales Price - Residual

If so, then one example:
(MSRP X residual percentage) minus (4000 X $0.15) = actual residual.
Looks like they backed into that residual percentage, as you stated...

Are they giving you the 0% for 60 months?? ( Its offered on the infiniti site)
...if this is a 24 months lease, I might want to jump on this deal and try to sell my G sedan.
Also, despite the fact I like G37's exterior, I still have second thoughts about overall reliability compare to IS 350 (as an over 18 trouble free years owner of Toyota vehicles and have never owned a Lexus)... for example Infinity still uses green (30k miles) vs Lexus red/pink (100k miles) radiator antifreeze coolant (I know minor detail but significant to me which explains the higher initial cost to own a Lexus.)
You'll save $ and learn something about a great automobile. Or, stay with what you know, pay more, and be happy. The Infiniti and the Lexus are both similar, and fine cars.

$100 deductible $1,995
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Good Luck!
Does invoice + 500 seem like a good price? This is in WA and we only have two Infiniti dealerships here.

Also as a proof, I used to own a new 1997 Maxima that will burn over 1 qt of engine oil at about 2200 miles between oil changes and had rattling engine noise at speeds between 80-83 mph (engine was oil thirsty) and Nissan would not do anything about it (their response was that is normal)... soooo, I got tired of it and traded it in for a Toyota and have never had any issues thereafter... potential Infinity/Nissan buyers be aware...
... enough said, will stick to Toyota/Lexus... good luck to all...
Good luck to you as well.
I'm happy w/ Nissan/Infiniti as of right now. I used to have '97 Avalon/'02 Camry/'00 Corolla (bought brand new) and they all had problems as well.
Of course someone could use the Internets and The Google to find just as many problems with Lexus or Toyota:

Google: Toyota Oil Burning

That is what the manager said about the All Season tires as well that they would be better than the summer tires already on the car. Yes, I made sure to mention it to the sales consultant on Friday before my flight to O'Hare and made sure to repeat it again once I got to the dealer. I ended up having to pick up the set at the Glencoe location. It seems FIELDS got the tires from Tire Rack.com.

Did the dealer give you 7 days of license plate? This is expiring for me and they are not telling me how long it will take. I heard some bad stuff about them regarding how long they take to send teh title and registration. Some people has been waiting fro few months.
Yes, I was given a temporary registration for 7 days which was of course needed to drive out of the dealership. However, the day prior to making my purchase, I was rather insistent on having the dealer provide me with the original car title in order to avoid any issues with registering the car once I got back home. I actually ended up going straight to DMV after my 15hr drive and had no problems registering the car since I had the og title. I must say tho..., that I had to be persistent with my request to have them provide me with the title; otherwise, I'm sure I'd be going thru the same thing. I'd advise you to call the dealership and/or your lender and stress to them your sense of urgency with needing to register the car. Good luck!
What kind of pricing can I negotiate for a 2008 Infiniti G35 Journey 4dr Sedan with a premium package?
I plan to buy this in the bay area, CA., The only offer I received so far is for $32,143.52 OTD. Do you think 29,000 OTD is feasible?
Thank!
MSRP $37015
Invoice $34122
Is it possible to get $33,500?
I am in Houston, Texas
Financing Start: 02/03/2009 End: 03/31/2009 1.9% APR Term: 36 months
2.9% APR Term: 48 months
3.9% APR Term: 60 months
Restrictions $2000 Dealer cash may not be combined with 1.9% APR - 3.9 % APR and vehicle must be financed through the manufacturer's captive finance company.
Is the $18,900 a good price or do you think I could negotiate something along the lines of $17,000?
Appreciate any insights.
Thanks
One of the dealers was offering 6k below msrp but he didnt have the red, black or blue slate colors i was looking for . He said he could do 4200 off msrp with 0% . So i called another dealer(with blue) over the phone , they agreed to 5000 + 0% . I was leaving for that dealer when i thought i should try another dealer , After spending 5 minutes on the phone with him , he agreed to beat the price by another 500$ . So i went in and got the car in 1 hr . No hassle buying:) . My first new car . Drives great .
Thanks alot to everyone on this forum .
