I don't know what is "better", but the 2013 model will be about $160/mo. cheaper....

Heard on a forum that residuals went up in Dec. If so, could you please post 15K residuals for 535i & 550i & M5? Thanks!
  • gursgurs Member Posts: 23
    Hi guys

Just wanted to share the deal that I got on a 535i xDrive
    Msrp : 63125
    SP : 56300
    MF : .00076 (After 7 MSD's)
    Residual : 62%
    36 months (12k/year)

I think I could have done a little better but this dealer had the exact color and options that I wanted in the car that was in his lot.
    Thank you everyone.

The holiday incentive is $500 extra above all the other incentives available thus far.
So, on 11/27, I leased a new 2013 535 GT xdrive. MSRP of$65625. Selling price of $56,388 plus free winter mats. Monthly pmt with nothing down but max MSDs - $730. Taxes are high in Illinois!

So the residuals went up? Do you know residual for 535i & M5?

    Hello all,

Does this sound like a good deal? Thanks in advance
    2013 528i w/ Nav and Premium package

    Total down(including MSD of 3500.00) $5483.00
    12kyr.
    56% residual
    415.60 plus tax=$453.00
    36 month lease.

    MSRP $52,550 before destination charge.
I told the dealer I didn't want to put anything down. Does $1983 sound right for all the fees? Also, the MSD bring the rate down by $30/mo she claims. Does that sound right?

    Thanks again.

How many miles, what state, what was the discounted price? Price looks s little high also

Might be too late but why arent't you going for 2014 528. There is a 1500 holiday credit+1000 loyalty combined with 64% 36mo/10K residual your payment will be the same or less.
  • radman10radman10 Member Posts: 1
Does anybody know the residual and lease money factor for 2013 or 2014 BMW 535GT? Also, there is $1500 holiday cash and $1000 loyalty cash, but are there additional incentives provided to dealers?
  • tunafish24tunafish24 Member Posts: 13
2014 535GT, 15K miles/yr Residual 58%, MF: 0.00125, $1500 Holiday Cash and $1000 Loyalty Cash. There are other incentives available to dealers but those haven't been published anywhere. I'd negotiate aggressively, aim for Invoice (or $1K below Invoice) pricing on car THEN add any incentives. Options you should also get at Invoice.
  • greg0riogreg0rio Member Posts: 12
Actually, I am scheduled to pick it up tonight. Thanks for the info. I sent an email to the dealer to run those numbers against the 2014 or at the very least, make my 2013 more impressive.

I got 2013 535 GT xDrive with RV of 57% and over $9,300 off MSRP. I thought of waiting on 2014, but the only ones coming to my area dealers had MSRP over $80k and no one was willing to deal, since there are so few GTs. Regular 5 is a different story, but i really wanted a GT.

Lease new 2014 535xi or buy current lease return

Dealer offered the following lease deal on 2014 535xi
    36 months/ 12000 miles per year
    0.00125 MF , 62% residual
679/month, 0 down, 0 security, all rebates & incentives included
Metallic color, Dakota leather, gps, rear view camera, parking distance control
Dealer swears this is as good as it gets...Is this a good deal?

My alternative is to buy my current lease about to expire for 2011 535xi, 36000 miles+/-, $32700 buy out. Car is in excellent condition, just serviced with half life left on brakes and tires. I can get. 2% APR, buy extended warranty for $1895 (2 years/100k) and negotiate BMW platinum coverage extension

Which is a better deal? Please help....

Thanks to all who contribute to this forum.
    Just completed this deal on a 528Xi 2013 that's an ex-loaner with 5500mi on it, $59.5msrp
includes prem, cold, park assist, navi, metallic 10kmi/yr, 36months
    residual value shown as $43k
$440/mo incl tax driveaway costs $1200.
Went to a few different dealers to get this deal, The LEAST competitive dealer was in Darien...
Ridgefield CT not much better, the NY&NJ dealers were the best.

  • firstlease01firstlease01 Member Posts: 21

This looks like an awesome deal to me. Its hard enough to get a decently loaded 3 series for $440/month..let alone a 528xi. Great job. Enjoy your ride.

    Leased yesterday.

535i, M-Sport, Driver's Assistance Pkg, Lighting Pkg, Prem Pkg, Heated Seats, Harman, Black Kidney Grilles
    MSRP: $65,935
    Negotiated Price: $58,588
Bank Fee ("Acquisition"): $925 (added into my cap cost, not sure why I didn't catch that)
    Total Cap Cost: $59,513

MF: Base = .00125 - .00049 (7 MSDS) = .00076 - NO DEALER MARKUP, which is unusual for the bay area I think
    9% tax rate
Residual 63% (10k mi/yr, 36 mos) - note here that they took out $185 for the black kidney grilles from the cap cost when calculating the residual. Apparently there are "non-residualizable" items. The final residual was $41,422.

    Payment = $579 (base) + $52 (sales tax) = $631/mo

Cap Cost Reduction (Down Payment): $0
    Dealer Doc: $80
    Registration + Fees: $519
7 MSDs (refundable security deposits): $4550
    First Mo: $631
    Total Drive Off: $5,780

Bought at Peter Pan in San Mateo, super-easy deal, in and out in 1.5 hrs, no haggling, not discussion over terms, matched a great internet price from another dealer. I highly recommend Norm Kauble, seems like a good guy.

    Hi all,

I'd like to run this NJ lease deal by you. I'm not sure whether this is a good deal, as some others have gotten similar deals for 2014 models.

New 2013 528xi with Prem pkg, Driver Assist, and Cold Weather.

    • MSRP $58175. Sale Price $48700. RV 57%. MF 0.0007583 (w/ 7MSD).
    • $495/month w/ $0 down.
    • COD $7200 incl. 1st month pmt, 7MSD, MV fees, gap insurance, upfront sales tax, doc fee, etc.

Also, I can't quite get the PMT Excel function to get to the monthly payment amount... odd.

Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

  • konacougkonacoug Member Posts: 196

You shouldn't be paying for gap insurance, it is included by BMW FS as part of the $725 Acquisition fee. Your payment seems okay, the selling price seems alright for 2013 model. I couldn't get the lease calculator to come up with the $495 payment. Are you de capping the lease too??

  • ophaopha Member Posts: 5

    Hi konacoug,
Thanks for the comment. I will ask the dealer about inclusion of gap insurance in the acq. fee.

Does the OOP fee portion (7200 - 3500 7MSD) = 3700 sound too high? In NJ.

  • konacougkonacoug Member Posts: 196

Well, the MSD number is correct at $500 per MSD. I am guessing the upfront taxes are rather large. Can you break down the balance of the drive offs? It would be much easier to evaluate.

  • ophaopha Member Posts: 5

The breakdown of drive off excl 7MSD: 1st month 490, title/registration fee 265, sales tax 1630, acq fee 725, doc fee 350 for total $3460.

    I don't know MF, but 36m/10k residual is 63% for 528xi

Is this a good deal on a 2014 535xdrive luxury line mineral white

    MSRP: $66230 CapRed: 10% = $59k 36 month lease 12k miles MF: .00170 (last month .00125) Residual: 60% Pay TTF ($3500) out of pocket $740 / month

I hear the mf is actually high on this should be closer to .00135.

Also do you recommend rolling in the tax and title, fees etc.? What should one pay for the fees? Can you negotiate these fees? I'm in VA

    Thanks everyone.

  • e325rkhe325rkh Member Posts: 71

Hello. Do you have the current MF and Residuals for 36 and 39 months (10k)? I need this for a 535 X Drive and a 550 X Drive. I have 6 months left on my Infiniti lease. Do you anticipate better deals/support at the end of the quarter (Q1 or Q2)?

    Thanks in advance.

Really crappy deal!! The dealer max marked up the money factor from the base of .00130. The base acquisition fee is $725, I have no idea on what other fees you have.... I recommend you pay your drive offs, first months lease payment, dmv, $725 acquisition fee. I also recommend you consider doing multiple security deposits. For each MSd you put down it lowers the money factor by .0007, with a max allowed of 7 MSD's for a total reduction of .00049. However, you need to get the base money factor rate and make sure they haven't added BS charges, like nitrogen in the tires and other crap. Send out emails to the internet depts. of the local dealers, with your build requirements. Stay out of the dealerships, until you are ready to make a deal and all of the fees have been itemized.

Last summer in So Cal, the deals were pretty good, high residual, low money factor, plus 1K build out credit and either loyalty or conquest cash. One never knows for sure....always make a deal at the end of the month, whenever you want to deal. Also, check out the MSD program for BMW. saves you a lot on the money factor interest.

Thank you, konacoug. I was looking at a 2014 550 X Drive M-Sport this weekend in NY (LI). I really liked it and wanted to pull the trigger, however, I think I can do better if I wait until June. Anyway, here is their deal FYI:

    2014 550 xDrive

MSRP: $77,325 (M-Sport, Executive, Cold Weather, Driver Assistance Plus)
    Invoice: $71,115
Cap Cost: $70,032 (includes $500 option credit)
36 months / 10K miles per year / Sign and Drive
    60% Residual / .00130 MF

$875 per month (includes NYS 8.625% tax), Only 1st month due at signing (includes $1,000 drive-off credit)

I am looking to get it to about $650 per month (39 months would be optimal), hoping for eventual BMWFS support on the residual/MF. I really have until July when I have to return my current lease.

  • konacougkonacoug Member Posts: 196

I think that waiting is probably is a good idea till summer. As the model year gets older, BMW NA incentives usually go up. However, hard to predict what the money factor could do....if you lease in NY, no MSD's allowed. However, you could go to NJ and lease there. I don't know if it is possible to get all the way down to $650 per month on your model and build.

Also, you might want to consider doing ED. I plan on doing ED, on my next BMW, not only for the savings, but the chance to take my wife to tour Europe.

  • e325rkhe325rkh Member Posts: 71
Thanks again. I am in NY, no MSD's. I didn't think I could lease in Jersey and do MSD's with the car being registered in NY.
  • konacougkonacoug Member Posts: 196

I have read many instances of op's leasing in NJ and doing the MSD's. If you inquire of dealers in NJ, they could answer that for you. I have read of recommended CA's in NJ on Bimmerfest, I recommend you check out the threads there.
