Hi blackexv6 Honda Finance's June buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 Odyssey Touring with 15,000 miles per year are .00048 and interestingly 48% for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Super Preferred" credit tier.

The residual value for a lease with 12,000 miles per year would be 2% higher.

The cash incentives for a lease of a 2013 Odyssey are actually $500 higher than they are for a purchase, so you should be able to get a better selling price if you lease.

Hi bigroc34. Honda Finance's June buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 Odyssey Touring Elite with 15,000 miles per year are .00048 and 48% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The residual value for a lease with only 12,000 miles per year would be 2% higher.

You're very welcome adrian1973. Honda Finance's June buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 Odyssey Touring with 12,000 miles per year are .00048 and 50% for consumers who quality for its top credit tier.

The numbers for the 2013 Touring Elite model are exactly the same.

Your interpretation of the incentives is correct. I'm not sure why Honda does it that way, but the total of $2,500 is correct.

    2. Residual Value:$19,109.15

Hello! I was in the dealership this weekend looking at the Odyssey EX-L's. The salesman gave me a quote of $359 a month if I put $650 down for a 36 month 12,000 miles a year lease. He then came back and told me the finance manager messed up on the numbers big time but he would still honor them. I am wondering if they are pulling my chain to get me to do this or is this really a good deal on a lease? I am in MI and sales tax is 6%. Any information/suggestions are appreciated. Did anyone else get a better deal that I can negotiate???
  • d_nyholmd_nyholm Member Posts: 80
If that price includes tax, then it seems like a decent deal. Though I would try to negotiate that $650 cap cost reduction out to make it a sweeter deal. The dealership is not losing any money on this deal at all.

Hi. After hours negotiating at a central Jersey dealership, here is where I landed. Is this good? I feel good about it but wanted to run it by this forum:

Odyssey EXL: $35,955 MSRP, Gross CAP cost: $32,705, minus $7,750 (trade in for 2009 Nissan Versa with 40K miles plus dealer credit) equals adjust CAP: $25,451. Residual: $19,056. Total fixed cost of lease: $14,914, total cost of lease with option to purchase: $33,970. Lease payments: $199 / month, 3 year lease, 12K miles per year. No money down, no fees. (Just the trade in).

    Just did a 2013 EX-L (no RES) 36mo/36k.
    $0 down, taxes (8.75%) included for 369/month.
1st months ($369)and NYS DMV ($220) due at delivery.... thats it.
The good deals are out there but you must be extremely aggressive. Don't believe anything the salesmen tell you and use the info from this forum's testimonials as gospel when negotiating.

I got the following deal and am wondering if its a good deal for an 2013 EXL with RES (no Nav):

    - 299/mo payment; 36 months and 12k miles
    - $5,000 down (that seems heavy)

    and for a Touring Elite they did;
    - 369/ mo for 36 months and 12k miles
    - 5k down
    - sell price of 38,500

Horrible deals. You should never put a penny down on a lease. Did you look at the buying experience thread? Are your selling prices similar to what others are getting?

FYI I just got a Town & County with NAV, DVD, etc for $299/mo with absolutely zero due at signing. The dealer paid for everything - tax, registration, first month's payment, etc.

If you put $5K down you never get a penny of that back. Do not do the deal.

I have 7 months left on a Sienna - I pay $515 - I am at 43000 miles. I started at Honda with an EXL with Nav, no RES, at $678 a month and ended at $515 a month, no money down. Should I take it at $515?

*7 payments left on my Sienna of $515 and walk away with Odyssey for $515 for 36 months, 12k miles

    Any advice?

I hate my Pilot and would love to change it for a more small child and large dog friendly car. I moved once I leased it an am also over on where I should be for miles (30,000 miles and 10 payments left to go on a 3 year/36K mile lease).

I just got a vehicle exchange program from a local dealer. Has anyone used these programs and were you happy?

Also what kind of deals are people finding in CT, MA and NY? I'd like to get into an Odyssey for under $300 month, taxes included, trading back my Pilot and no other $ down. Need $15,000/miles/year.

    Thanks, Mary

Carman, can you tell me what the July deals are for leasing? Money factor, rebate incentives, etc. Looking to lease either a 2013 or 2014 Odyssey. What are invoices on these? I live in the U.P. of Mich. but have done business with Van's Honda in Green Bay for the past 18 yrs. (6 leased vehicles). Been happy so far. Any insights you or anyone else can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just contracted to lease a new 2013 EX-L... no Nav or Entertainment. $365/mo all in inc tax, fees, etc.. $2500 out of pocket...36/12K per yr. I also traded in a 08 EX w/ 50K on it... I took the $12500 I got them up to on it.... they will be handing me a check for $10K when we formally do the deal this coming week.

Thanks for the info. paulrost. Sounds like a good deal. Enjoy that cash. I hear that the money factor for the 2013's are down to .00048. Does anyone know what the factor is for the 2014's? Thanks.

does anyone know if the lease terms are going to change for the 2013 EX-L's in August?
  • ccc132435ccc132435 Member Posts: 31
Carman or anyone can you please help?

It seems that the $380/month still there for the 2013 EX-L odyssey but how that works. The disclaimer says that the dealer needs to contribute with $2,500.00. If I have a quote OTD for $34,000 does it mean that the $2,500 is already included or this is "credited" with the financing department at the time of credit check, etc.

Also what is the money factor, net cap, residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2013-EXL Ody now in August.
