Wow, 0 down and 474 a month EVERYTHING included? how do you go about negotiating this? I am 22 years old and I feel like I get taken advantage of, I'm so glad I found this forum! haha

    $470.93 payment
    39 months
    12k miles a year
$3,207.73 ( 1st payment, Bank Fee, DMV, Taxes)
    Residual 59%
    MF .00083
    Selling price $44,882

he used this selling price MF and residual to come up with the payment, is this wrong?

I assume this is a good deal based on what I'm seeing. G37X sedan with nav, prem, wood, etc. MSRP $44,055. 39 month Lease 12K miles per year.

Deal is sign and drive with 38 payments of $459 which includes tax.

What's confusing to me is the Gross and Adjusted Cap Cost on contract....seems higher than I would have expected. However, the $459 per month for 38 payments with zero out of pocket seems very reasonable for this car. I am a repeat Infiniti/Nissan customer ($1K loyalty) and have excellent credit (above 750) so that plays into it also.

Any thoughts, is this in the ball park of what would be considered a good deal? Thanks in advance...great forum.

My lease is up on my current 2009 G37 in May. I'm eligible for the early out lease now. I want to take advantage and get a new car; however if 2013 redesign is at retaliers in summer, can I just ask for a few months extension on lease and wait. Is there a "true" release date for the redesign. Should I go or should I stay and wait! Thanks.

I leased my G37X sedan last year. Premium package and Navigation. 39 month lease 10,000 miles a year for $375 nothing down except taxes. title, license, and destination fees equally 2300... So 470 is very steep unless you are getting more options?

    Hi all,

I have the following on a 2012 G37X with premium, navi, sport and tech. packages:

    39 month lease, 10k miles

    MSRP - $46,205

    Selling Price - 42,389
    Doc & Lic. - 621
    Bank fee - 700
    NJ tax - 1,342.56
    Cap initial fee - 512.41

    Net Cap - 45,654.97

    Money Factor .00074
    Resdiual is 27,723 (60%)

So a pure sign and drive with 38 payments of 512.41

    1) Does this sound like a good deal.

    2) The price for purchase is $1k less. Dealer said there was an incentive for purchases or finances. Is that accurate? Do I lose out on that if I lease?

    Thanks a lot.

Alright, after hearing peoples ideas, I am about to send the dealer a counter offer. Tell me if I am low balling too much, or if its a solid fair price.

    I am looking for:

    Infiniti g37x Coupe
    Slate Blue
    Premium Package
    Sport Package
    Navigation Package
    Graphite interior OR Stone interior
    IPOD hookup
Illuminated Kick Plates (don't really care if this option is there or not)

    Installed by you guys:
    Rear Spoiler
    LED lights

MSRP without last 2 installed options is 49,030
    Adjusted Capt cost: $45,030
    ***************************************************************
I am willing to pay 450 down sign and drive plus 510/month for 38 months for 12000 miles per year.

Is this a fair offer that I should email to him?

No problem dbledmndk2. The money factor that you mentioned in your earlier post is right on the money.

The selling price that you were quoted for this car looks good to me as well.

If you like the car, I personally don't see any reason not to go for it.

Sure thing whurley10. Infiniti Financial Services' February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39-month lease of a 2012 G37X Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00074 and 57%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

    Car_man,

"Infiniti Financial Services' February buy rate"- Does this rate applies to all the dealership is all states. My dealership is quoting higher rate so is that a way they make money by marking up the money factor. How can I get them down to this rate? Can i quote something to them?

    Thank for the awesome forum.

    Is this fair?

    MSRP-41045
    Negotiated Sale Price- 37725
    MF-.00074
    Residual-59%
    39 mo. 12K

    $400/mo

Coming off lease of '09 G37X ($1000 owner loyalty)
  • dbledmndk2dbledmndk2 Member Posts: 16
Looks like a fair deal to me assuming the $400 includes taxes. I'm paying $35 less per month for 10,000 miles and I had to put $2k down, but I didn't have the $1000 loyalty to take advantage of and the MSRP on my car was $500 higher.

I'd say go for it, but I'm no expert by any stretch.
  • bstone21bstone21 Member Posts: 2
yes the $400/mo includes 6% sales tax.

Hey, I have a question. when people say zero down sign and drive 400 a month with no taxes, does this include EVERYTHING? or is there still lisense/DMV and other fee's like that?
  • dbledmndk2dbledmndk2 Member Posts: 16
I assume that when people say zero down sign and drive they mean just that. Those license/DMV fees still have to get paid and they just end up getting rolled in to the cap cost of the lease. If you get a generously discounted selling price it can help absorb these costs. Just my opinion as I personally didn't do a zero down sign and drive.
  • whurley10whurley10 Member Posts: 5
dbledmndk2, I decided on a different car, but the thing about Infiniti, and why, especially here, I'd roll in all of those fees, into a sign and drive, is that they give you lease forgiveness for the last 6 months of your lease, so, essentially, you aren't paying for them, fully. In my case, I'd much rather pay a little more per month instead of putting $1,000, or so, down. Personal preference, I guess.
  • whurley10whurley10 Member Posts: 5
I got all of that with exception of a rear spoiler, nothing down, nothing due at signing, $44,898 cap cost, with additional dealer incentive of $1,000 for $475 including tax a month for 39 months, 15,000 miles a year (first payment was included, so 38 total payments of $475,) so I think you could still do better, but no reason they wouldn't take that. Good credit score.

Hello, I am looking at a FULLY loaded infiniti g37xS coupe
Car_man if you could help me out, or anyone for that matter I would greatly appreciate it!

MSRP: 50,030 (added a customized LED Daytime Running Lights (Sport) )
    shown here (they are cool!)
    http://www.infinitiusa.com/g_sedan/specs-options/accessories.html?vehicle=g37

    15000 miles/year
    Prem/Nav/Sport ++ more

    $2830 down $460/month
I elected to put so much down, because I would rather deal with 460/month payments

I could do 522 down 522/month, but once again, I'd rather just pay the 460/month.

I live on LONG ISLAND and I expect prices to be a little bit higher here than other places, but I'd just like to know if this is a FAIR deal, or if I should hold out longer? Thank you very much!!!

What are the current lease rates - residual and money factor - for the 2012 G37 sedan Journey.

Also, how successful have people been on getting Infiniti to waive mileage charges on a lease return, if you lease a new vehicle.

    Thanks in advance

Car Man, I'm shopping for a G37 for my son. I want the G37x (AWD) with Premium and Nav packages. A few other options may be in order as well, one car we looked at had a $44,255 MSRP. My questions are as follows:
    1. Dealer told me 39 month is the sweet spot. Gave me a 57% residual and .00085 money factor for this based on 12k miles per year. I do have excellent credit (high 700s) so should get the best credit tier with no problem. Is the money factor/residual he quoted accurate?
    2. Can you provide the residual and money factor for the same car at 36 months based on 12k miles per year?
    3. How close to, or under, invoice should I reasonably be able to get? I used another website to see their "great price" was about $400 under invoice...which looks like that still results in almost $1500 for the dealer based on their listed dealer cost. Sound reasonable or possible to go even lower?

I leased a G35 from this same dealer a few years ago and got a great deal due to your help. I hope to be able to repeat that this time. Thanks so much!

You're welcome tim_arcand. Yes, Infiniti's current lease program is national. If your credit is in good shape and the dealer quotes you a higher factor than this it means that they are trying to mark your vehicle's buy rate up to add additional hidden, back-end profit to your deal. The rates that are quoted here are correct, just insist that the dealer uses it to calculate your payment. If they won't, you can always take your business elsewhere.

You're very welcome, cammyfive. Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2012 G37 Sport Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00040 and 55%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a 2012 G37 Sport Coupe are .00053 and 56%.

Hi audibuyer53. Do you know what this car's selling price is? I ask because the selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them. Without this number it is more difficult to tell how large a dealer discount you are being given and in turn if there is any room left to negotiate. Let us know what this number is and I'm sure that either myself or another community member will gladly let you know what they think.

Hi coachknight. Are you looking to adopt :)?

I believe that Infiniti Financial Services' March buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39-month lease of a 2012 G37X Sedan with 12,000 miles per year are .00041 and 56%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

Infiniti has a $1,000 loyalty cash offer on this car right now. If you are eligible for it you might be able to get this car for under dealer invoice. Likewise if you were paying cash and were eligible for the $1,000 dealer cash. The dealer cash is not available on leases through, so I suspect that you will have to pay a couple hundred dollars over invoice to lease this car.

    Hi Car Man,

I'm pretty naive in leasing a car still. Am in Texas, MSRP of 41455, advertised promotion for $37,725 - told Lease would be $38,725 ($1,000 more). First question is this a reasonable price? 2nd what should i expect for a 39 month lease? Am willing to put down up to $3K.

I've been told for $3K down to expect $493 a month
    Money Factor = .0055
    Residual of $22,910.25
    10,000 miles a year

Am i unreasonable in thinking I should be closer to $400-$420?

Being told it's a good time to lease because of a promo in TX that is covering most of the 6.25% tax

Hi, I’m looking into leasing a 2012 G37X Sedan w/ premium package. Here is a quote I got from a local dealer, what do you think?

With an MSRP on the vehicle of $41,405. and a dealership invoice of $38,329, the selling price would be $38,203.

39 Mo. Term/10k Miles Yr./$3,000 Total Due at Signing/$387.00 Mo.
39 Mo. Term/12K Miles Yr./$3,000 Total Due at Signing/$397.80 Mo.
NJ Tax is inc. in the payment/The $3,000 Total Due includes the 1st mos. payment-Infiniti Bank Fee-Motor Veh. Fees. :confuse:
  • kirkerkirker Member Posts: 2
Rokshox71, close to $500/mo is outrageous. I have a friend in Texas who has an almost identical vehicle, except minus the nav system, and he pays $317/month (from a Texas Infiniti dealer) on his 39-month lease (with 10K/mi year). A factor whomever you spoke to may not have mentioned is TT&L, which by itself should be about $3K. In Texas you generally pay it upfront, as my friend did (and otherwise had no "down payment" per se), since it's charged on the full value of a leased vehicle, unlike most states. I don't know his residual value in dollar terms, but it's 58%. I think his MSRP was about $39.7K.
  • rokshox71rokshox71 Member Posts: 2
    Thanks Kirker,

My Sales guy called me today (before I called him actually, so that was cool) and told me they screwed up the lease numbers and sent me new numbers today. Came to $3K down and $382 a month for 39 months.

Your friend being at $317 makes me think they may have a little wiggle room left, my MSRP is $41,655 (sale price of $38,892). I can't imagine $2K is worth $60 a month ($2.5K over 39 months)
  • kirkerkirker Member Posts: 2
Yeah, I think they do. He got almost a full $4K off MSRP. Btw you should definitely clarify if it's $3000 down TOTAL or doesn't include sales tax, destination, etc.

Gang - new to site and appreciate your insight on this.

I have a quote for a 2012 G37x (supposedly we get an business associate discount from Nissan). This is what I was quoted -

    Retail Price: $41,405
    Your Price: $38,302

When I inquired about leasing the vehicle, they came back with-

Here is the lease for 39 months using your VPP price & 12 thousand miles per year.
    Payments are w / zero down $498.00 w /1850 down 440 per month.

I am not sure if it is the 12k miles or the all wheel drive but this price seems much higher than some of those in this thread.

    Thoughts?

Hi CarMan and all others that have been very informative on this discussion,

I am looking to lease a 2012 G37X in NYC and wanted to know if this is a fair quote I received, as I have top tier credit:

    2012 G37X with premium/navigation/interior accents packages
    MSRP = $42,585
    Invoice =$39,353
Sale Price Lease based on = $38,753

    36 months with 15,000 miles
monthly payment = $475.43 inc tax
Total fees out of pocket = $1,566.56
    Money Factor = 0.00030
    Residual = 23,847.60

    39 months with 15,000 miles
monthly payment = $460.02 inc tax
Total fees out of pocket = $1,551.15
    Money Factor = 0.00041
    Residual = 23,421.75

    Break down of fees
    First Month $
    Bank Fee $700.00
    Tax on Bank fee $62.13
    Doc Fee $249.00
    Estimated DMV $80.00
$1,091.13 + first month (depending on 36/39 months)

What are the March numbers (MF and residual) on a 39 month/10k miles lease on a base G37 convertible?

Also, are there any incentives/rebates on this vehicle?

Im looking for a G37 Journey Coupe with Nav and Sports Package. I am looking for a 39 month lease (12,000 miles) and id put up to 2500 down. What should I be paying? I am using a car broker who is a family friend, but the quotes are coming back really high..

    Please help!
