Sorry I meant $4300 toward cap reduction.

    Thanks!
  • tixmantixman Member Posts: 1
2011 C300 Sport with Nav and Sat Radio
    Cap Cost is 43,000
    Residual is 70%
Term is 27mo w/ 12k miles per year.
    Zero Down

    They are asking 684/mo

What incentives do they currently have to bring down the cap cost?

We currently lease a 2009 C300 equipped the same with a cap cost of 45,795 w/ 15k per year over 39 mo. MB provided a 7909 Cap Reduction. Payments 578 per mo.

There is a big difference here.... I am confused.

    Car_Man,

Can you provide the November MF and residual for the '11 C300 Sport 4Matic with 12K miles for 27 and 36 months? Thanks.
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
I;d be happy to help you out, epl1.

Mercedes-Benz Financial's November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 27 month lease of a 2011 C300 Sport 4Matic with 12,000 miles per year are .00114 and 60%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are .00114 and 59%.

    Hey car_man, got a question.

An editorial in Automotive News mentioned M-B was offering a $300/month lease on the C-class. They didn't specify which year or the terms, though.

Base models start at $33.9k or so, is that figure possible with current incentives?

I'm assuming a 39-month lease on a base model, 10k miles/year, would be most likely to reach that number, is that payment realistic or would it have to be with a huge down payment?
  • hull22hull22 Member Posts: 37
I almost leased a 2011 C300 Sport with Premium 1, Burl walnut wood, ipod adapter and heated seats. Somehow their monthly payment came out a bit different than I calculated using my iphone lease calc program(as well as online lease calculators).

    Here are the numbers:
    MSRP 39805
Selling price 37916(USAA price for invoice+500)
Cap cost reduction in the form of USAA$1500 incentive
MF 0.00116(had to fight for this)
    residual for 27month lease 68%(using 24mo numbers)
    all taxes and fees upfront

They quoted my 460-something a month. I'm calculating 420/month. I thought they mistakenly gave me the 24month lease numbers instead, which is 463, but they insist that they are not.

    What am I missing here?
  • jwilliams2jwilliams2 Member Posts: 910
When you say "all taxes and fees upfront", are you including the $795 acquisition fee? They usually roll that into the lease, which would increase the payments by $30 or so per month.
  • hull22hull22 Member Posts: 37
I don't remember if they factored that in. That would only increase the monthly to $450, but the quote is still int he 460s. I guess I'll have to pin them down on the cap cost and residual tomorrow
  • mmenardmmenard Member Posts: 68
Did you factor in the Doc fees, Bank fee, lic fees, etc...? That could be where the difference lies.
  • hull22hull22 Member Posts: 37
so it turns out, they factored in the lease acquisition fee, upcharged to $1095. Wouldn't budge on that, so I have asked them to throw in floor mats. Waiting to hear back.

so I finally made the deal for the 2011 C300 Sport with a different dealer who did not markup the lease acq fee. The MSRP was $39,055. They said the USAA price(invoice+$500) is $37382, which is actually $1K over invoice. When I questioned it, they said that the invoice includes a "required" $500 advertising fee. Is this really true or am I being taken?

Anyways, after the $1500 USAA cash back incentive to bring down the cap cost. The 27mo lease with 0.00116 MF and 68% residual came to about $417/month with taxes+fees upfront. Waiting for the car to be transported from port.
  • jwilliams2jwilliams2 Member Posts: 910
Is this really true or am I being taken?

It probably is on the invoice, so no, you are not being taken.
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
Hey ateixeira. Mercedes' current advertised lease on the 2011 C300 Sedan Sport isn't quite $300 per month. It's actually $339 per month for 27 months with $2,245 down. One might be able to do better than that by negotiating a lower selling price, but still not all the way down to $300.

    Hi all,

Is the money factor for the C300 and the C350 the same? If not , what are the C350 programs looking like?
    Thanks
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
Hi tax_atty. The lease programs for the 4Matic is slightly different than it is for the RWD model.

Mercedes-Benz Financial's November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 27 month lease of a 2011 C300 4Matic with 7,500 miles per year are .00114 and 72%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 48 month lease are .00114 and 56%.

Hi orizaba. The lease programs for the C300 and the C350 are similar, but not exactly the same.

Mercedes-Benz Financial's November buy rate lease money factor and residual for a 36 month lease of a 2011 C350 with 15,000 miles per year are .00200 and 56%, respectively.

Hey guys, this is my first post.

    Looked at a 2011 C300 with prem 1, Nav + 4, wood trim, metallic paint, auto, MSRP 40,680. I wanted 0 down, 36months 15k miles.

Dealer has offered 550/month incl tax, etc, 36months for 12k miles. Is this a good deal? I wanted 15k miles for under 500 incl tax.

I didnt get into the specifics about residual value and money factor.

Hey guys, this is my first time posting on this site.

Looking at a 2011 C300 4matic sport sedan in NJ. 27 month lease with 12,000 miles. I am looking to put no money down, and only put down the 1st month and typically signing allotment. The additional items I put into the vehicle are:

    - 4matic AWD
    - Premium 1 package
    - Multimedia package
    - Panoramic Roof
    - Rear Spoiler
    - Heated Seats
    - Iridium Silver Paint

    Total MSRP was approximately $45,820.

I dealer originally offered it for $1700 at siging (including first month) and $589 a month. Went back and forth and checked out other dealerships and am now at $1500 at signing and $550 a month. Is this a good deal? I put alot of extras into the car, so I'm not sure if I can get much lower. What do you think>?
  • dowmcrdowmcr Member Posts: 1
I am not sure what your tax rate is in NJ. However if you use the lease tool on this site in concert with Edmunds TMV for this car and the current money factor/residual, you might be able to get another $5-10 off per month.

It is a very helpful tool if used in concert with all of the other great info in this forum.

    Good luck

    - $0 cap reduction
    - 15,000 miles/yr.
    - includes All scheduled maintanence like oil changes, belts, lubes @ 10k, 20k and 30k miles
    - $468/mo

Just got back from the MB dealer...

    Looking at:

    2011 C300 Sport
    Price: 36680
    Money Factor: 0.00216
    Residual: 57%
    12,000 Miles
    39 months
    $2000 Cash Due at signing

    Monthly payment: $534

I've been reviewing the forum posts and the money factor seems high...I found the following numbers from last month:

    36-month | 15k miles | residual 57% | .00116 base money factor

Does anyone have this month's money factor?

    Thank you.

    Hi everyone,
This is not intended to be advertising or spam, as I'm not making any profit from doing this.
There is a, very reliable, leasing broker in my area in NYC that has a special on the C300 (2011 MY). 27 months pre-paid lease, $250+tax per month + bank and DMV. 7,500 miles a year.
    Message me if interested.

I am turning in my C 300 Sport for a C 300 Luxury edition. As I had endless problems w/ the tires on the Sport and did not have the tire insurance, I was wondering if anyone who has the Luxury has had problems w/ the tires? Apparently the tire insurance is approx $37/month...$1,000 over 27 months. I don't want to spend the extra money on the lease if there tends not to be a problem w/ the tires on the Luxury model. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Car man, are you sure about the residual on the 27 month? My dealer said the residual for a 2011 C300 sport for 15k is 68% for 24 month and 62% for 33 month. He quoted me a residual of 65% for 27 month. Is he pulling my leg? He offered me the car for 38125. 1000 below invoice. Msrp is around 42100~. What do you think?

I'm looking for what you guys think is the residual and money factor on a 2011 c300 sport.

Catch is I only need a 12 month 12K miles.

What should I be paying compared to MSRP?

    Thanks in advance
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
I'd be happy to help you out, marcos4. Mercedes-Benz Financial's February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 C63 Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00240 and 55%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its Tier 1 credit tier.

It's difficult to say what Mercedes' program will be like on this car several months from now, but I can tell you that this isn't a model that Mercedes typically provides lease support on.

I haven't seen what this car's 12 month numbers are. I assume that the money factor would be the same for a 12 month lease, but I don't know what the residual value would be.

If I was in the market for this car right now in an area that has a decent level of competition, I personally would shoot for a selling price of $500 to $1,000 over dealer invoice.

c300 sport with 4-matic, package 1 heated seats, metallic steel grey

    MSRP 42,200-ish

with my USAA discount they are currently offering:

    $37,655 price
    $3,500 down payment
$406 per month payment including taxes
33 mo lease with 10,000 mile allowance

I will also be trading in my 2006 GLI which should provide me with about $2000 towards down payment and offset the taxes a little more.

The sales person is starting to piss us off because of how indirect he answers questions. We haven't negotiated very hard (he had above printed before we arrived today to show my wife the car). Hold him a 100 times we aren't buying today and still got the same old "what do we have to do to get you in a car today" speech. In talking to him, seems like they might even be willing to throw in maintenance for 3 years for free too.

Is that a great deal. I've asked 5 times over last 3 weeks for money factor and still don't have it... that's the indirect crap that's making me mad, he just acts like it isn't relevant and MB standard, then moves on.

Better rates, more off car? what should I go for? When do I know I've squeezed out as much as I can?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I want this car and not sure I can keep my wife interested much longer. Not that I would swindle her, we make decisions together and my MB sales guys are kinda screwing with that.

    P1 package 1995
    lux package 410
