  • and thank you by the way.

Let's assume someone has perfect credit.

They want to lease an IS250 AWD with Nav (Package b) for 36 months and 12k miles p/y. Let's assume the total price is 38k.

Now considering they have perfect credit, if they want to do the 1Pay program, how much more or less would the total amount of the lease be? Can anyone break down an example for me with the money factor and residual value.

    Thanks again in advance.

Looked through the recent posts and only seeing sedan lease rates. What is the lease terms for 2011 IS 350C 12K/year for tier 1+? Same or different than 0.00175 57% 36 month 12K quoted for IS 350?
I am also shopping BMW and noticed their lease terms vary across models and trims but seems, on paper, cheaper for convertibles.

I have a 2008 IS 250 AWD loaded (Nav and luxury options) which will have a lease termination in a few months. Typically I lease a new model year, but have considered a buyout this time. The car only has 25,000 miles on a 3 year 36,000 mile lease.

Does Lexus provide lease options on a buyout and any idea of what a new residual would be on a new lease?

Anyone have experience in going this route?

    Thanks.

I continue to see references to a money factor of .00175 and .00185 for Tier 1. Are these based on location? I am getting a rate of .0021 in the central region with Tier 1.

    Thanks

convertible money factor 0.00185 buy rate per local dealer with quote
    1440 drive off 619 monthly (8.75% tax included) for 36 months 12K/month
18 inch all season wheels, nav, luxury package, windscreen and accessory package.
I believe the money factor is negotiable down to the buy rate but YMMV

sedan money factor buy rate is 0.00175

Hi lexusluke. An interest rate of 12% to 13% on a lease is pretty bad. If you tell me what your credit score is I should be able to give you and idea of what Lexus Financial Services' money factor is for the vehicle that you are interested in right now.

Vehicles' residual values do not vary by credit tier.

The last time that I checked, LFS' multiple security deposit program lowered vehicles' money factors by .00010, slightly less than a quarter of a point, for every additional deposit that is made.

The Advance Pay option should lower the money factor by .00100, or 2.4%.

Hi agleung. Lexus Financial Services' March buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 IS 350 Convertible with 12,000 miles per year are .00185 and 58%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Tier 1+" credit tier.

Hi rhpdev. I believe that the money factors that you have seen mentioned are natoinal. If you are being quoted a higher rate than these, you either don't qualify for LFS' Tier 1+ credit tier or the dealer is attempting to mark your car's factor up to add additional back-end profit to your deal.

What was the price the lease was calculated on and can you share the money factor and location (area) of purchase?

  • Hello -
I am looking to lease a 2011 IS250 w Navigation, Bluetooth, The F sport package (not the IS-Fm thats a different car). I live in Los Angeles.

The TMV according to the Edmunds site is $39K. Can someone please tell me what the money factor and risidual value would be?

I'm looking for a 12K, 36month lease and so far all of my quotes have been MUCH higher than i have seen on this forum. I have good credit, so thats not the issue. could it be the inventory issue? If so, I may be better off getting the 328icoupe or A4 I am looking at. but this is my first choice.

    help please!

    Thank you! :)
  • Leased a new 2011 IS250 AWD sedan this past weekend w/ Navi, Seated heats, Xenon LED headlights, and accessory package. MSRP listed at $40,410.

Probably could have pushed more on the price...but really wasn't sure how the whole Japan issue was impacting Lexus production. Sales guy said they weren't getting any more for a while...I wanted a car that day...so I settled once we got the Net Cap Cost down to $37,600.

Edmunds TMV for an IS250 with these specs is $37,451, so I figured it was close enough.

    Lease Details:
    36 mo lease, 15K miles/yr, $0 down
57% residual with base rate of .002 (according to sales guy, this was tier 1+; seemed a little high to me, was expecting .00185).

    ~$565/mo after tax

Hi gotigers1. Lexus Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 IS 350 RWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00150 and 54%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Tier 1+" credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 48 month lease are .00150 and 44%.

  • Hey all! I leased a 2009 IS250 with Premium Package and Navigation (and accessories) at the end of March 2009. I'm exactly 25 months in on a 36 month lease, 12K/year. MSRP on my car was $37,656 and I got it for $32,448 thanks to these forums and a lot of haggling. With CA tax and $0 down (I did put down 9 MSD's to bring down the MF) my monthly is $417.

That said, I have a couple questions:
    1. While my payments are pretty low, relatively speaking, and the convertible model is priced higher than the sedan, the residual on the convertible is much higher. Do I have any chance of getting a convertible with Premium and Navi around the same price as what I pay now? I can go up a bit, but not a lot.
    2. I am well under my mileage right now (probably 2000 miles under or so given 1000 a month). There's a chance I could drop to 10K on a new lease but I think I would probably drive a convertible more so it's probably safer not to. This isn't really a question, just a point to bring up.
    3. I have a friend who leased an RX a while ago and I know she traded in early to a new lease when the new RX's came out. It was an offer from Lexus, not her idea. How early does Lexus trade in/up new leases? I still have 11 months left on my lease. If I couldn't do it relatively soon, I might as well wait it out. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to trading in/up early?
    4. Is there a best time of year to get a deal on an ISC? It's just starting to get hot here in SoCal so I feel like dealers won't be as willing to deal on an ISC, but I guess I could be wrong.

Thanks for the help, I haven't been here in a long time, but you guys were a ton of help when I was here and I gave a ton of help after I leased for about a year too. :)

I'm new to all this and got this deal over the weekend and wondering if I could've done better:

7 miles on the car; been on the lot since 4/8/11

36-month lease / 10K miles per year / option to purchase when lease ends

    -MSRP: $40,099
    -Dealer Invoice: $36,512
    -Agreed Upon Price: $37,012
    -Down Payment: $2,000
-Traded in 1998 VW Jetta with 170,700 miles: $1,000

I have an agreement with Lexus for an IS250 lease, but there are two line items under the section of the contract labeled, "Itemization of Gross Capital Cost".

    They are: "Acquisition Fee......................$700"
    "Doc Fee/LFS SVC. Fee...........$486.17"

Aren't these things the same thing? I have a feeling that I'm getting charged once by the financing company and that the dealer is passing that cost onto me (which sucks, but I'll pay it), and that I'm also getting charged a second time by the dealer who is disguising a profit center for the dealership as a financing fee.

Which of these fees can I negotiate? If I had to pay one of the two, which one seems more above-board?

    Thanks for your help.

Every lease has an acquisition fee... Not sure if Lexus' fee is $700, but it seems likely... Infiniti is $700 and BMW is $725..

The other one: Looks like padding... A lot of dealers charge doc fees, though.... can't say I like it much..
