    Hi there,

Did they ask you to pay a fee due to signing?

    thanks
  • mbz123mbz123 Member Posts: 4
    No, fee.
  • wussywussy Member Posts: 2
ohh because I keep seeing $3789 due at signing that's why I asked, but I think its pretty good deal fully loaded if im not mistaken.

Its an awesome deal without having to put anything down. Which dealer are you getting this quote from?
  • mbz123mbz123 Member Posts: 4
Lexus of Mission Viejo. I might waited out till September. Going to a Ride & Drive event, and hopefully will get a $1000.00 certificate towards a new Lexus lease - dropping the payment even further. It's a good deal but after my previous post "is this a good deal?" I still think I can do better.
  • c3po33c3po33 Member Posts: 67
If you have the money put it down as a Security Deposit, MSD (Multiple Security Deposits) so you can get it back at the end of the lease. The MSDs lower your Money factor .0001 for each MSD you do. I did the maximum of 9 MDS.

I got a fully loaded IS 350 F-Sport Nebula Gray Pearl with Rioja Red interior with Navigation, Mark Levinson & blind spot monitor system for $483.85 a month with 12,000 miles.

I put down $5,382.88 but if I deduct the $4,500 I'm getting back after 36 months (my MSDs) and my first payment that's included in the figure, I only put down $399.03

I'm sure it’s not the best deal around but I think I did OK.
My $4,000 deposit, minus the disposition lease fee, is coming back to me from Infiniti for the G37 I just turned in.

I cannot believe Lexus does not equip the F-Sport with memory seats though, that makes no sense at all.

what dealer gave you that lease?
  • c3po33c3po33 Member Posts: 67
Lexus of Pembroke Pines in South Florida.
  • omalley27omalley27 Member Posts: 1
What was your money factor and residual?
  • c3po33c3po33 Member Posts: 67
Residual was 65% it would have been 73% for 27 months instead of 36 months.

Did not get the money factor but he said it was less than 2% interest so I'm guessing about .0008 after MSDs.

Car also has VGRS just saw it on window sticker.

    Hi everyone!

    I recently got a quote for a 2014 IS 250 AWD:

    $3,000 down
    36 mos
    12K
    $299/mo.

The financing quote given was MSRP $40,597, purchase price $37,412

Are these deals good? Thanks in advance!

I just got quoted $437 all in for is350. no money down. Out pocket are tags fees taxes FIRST payment. They factored in 9 msd. I am in Florida. that was on a walk in with some negotiations. 36 months 12k miles. Should I be able to get my all in under $400 for this is350? Or should that be the price for is350 f?

Was offered the following in SoCal for IS 350 with blind spot monitor, F sport package with summer tires, navigation system with back up camera, and accy package. No idea what accy pkg is.

    Vehicle Price: $47,008.00
    Market Savings: - $3,758.00
    Vehicle Selling Price: $43,250.00

    Sales Tax (estimate): + $3,902.32
    Tag/Registration Fees (estimate): + $351.00
    Other: + $29.00
    Flat Add/County Fee: + $10.00
    Electronic Filing: + $29.00
    Smog Abatement Fee: + $20.00
    Documentation Fee: + $80.00
    Balance Due (estimate): $47,671.32
    No Trade-In
    LEASE OPTIONS
    Cash Due | 24 months 12,000 Miles | 27 months 12,000 Miles| 36 months 12,000 Miles
    $1,000 | $613 | $601 | $602

    Tax rate is 9%

I think his calculation is wrong? Cap cost of 43250+fees should come out around $470-$500 a month?

The special money factor is .00120, and the residuals are as follows:
    24 months is 34,785
    27 months is 33,845
    36 months is 30,085

I am in SoCal and looking to lease a 2014 Lexus IS 250 (F Sport) w/navigation, which is normally close to MSRP 43K. I am looking if someone can share how much they paid for a similar vehicle and give me prices in details?

    MSRP?
    Vehicle Price/Sale Price?
    Lease term/Months?
    Residual Value?
    Down Payment?
    Mileage?

What would be a good deal?
  • apatel790apatel790 Member Posts: 3
    Enetnut,

It's in Florida --> For 3 years, 15k miles lease. With $1186 initial payment (acquisition fee / title, etc) and from my calculation I am looking at about $369 in monthly payments.

Got my white IS350 F-Sport from Jim Falk Lexus.
    $453 a month, $500 down, 9 security deposits, 12000 miles, 24 months.
  • d_nyholmd_nyholm Member Posts: 80
Are we able to get the residuals and money factors for September on these cars?
    27 month, 12K miles/year
    IS250 AWD
    IS250 RWD
    IS350 RWD

It looks like from what I have read to be .00130 and 73%, but that was for a IS350 Fsport. Not sure if they are different by model.
  • ko350zko350z Member Posts: 3
    supa2001,

My local Lexus dealer is running a special during the month of September -- a 2014 IS 250 w/ a MSRP of $37,188 for $299 a month (before tax) on a 27 Month Lease w/ NO money down. Just tax, tax, title, acquisition fee.

Is this a decent deal? Would love to hear the opinions of you experts before signing.
  • joppjopp Member Posts: 5
Is this a good deal? IS 250 with NAV

    MSRP $43,867
    SELLING Price $42,000

    LEASE TERM:
    33 MONTHS/20,000 MILES PER YEAR
$2,500 DOWN + FIRST MONTHs PAYMENT
    Of the $2500
$1,164.75 is cap cost reduction. The fees are...
    Acquisition $700.00
    Tax on acquisition (6.25%) $43.75
    Registration $129
    Documentation $424
    Inspection sticker $29
    Title prep $29
    =$1,335.75

    $599.59 PER MONTH
    INCLUDES ALL TAXES AND FEES

    RESIDUAL= $26,202 = 59.7% residual
    MONEY FACTOR =.00130

I am considering doing 9 MSD but it only lowers the MF to .00121 and per month by only $7/mth so don't think it is worth it...

    Help!! PLEASE!!
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 235,175
Your MSD calculation looks to be incorrect... How much does Lexus lower the MF for each MSD... It can't be .00001

Depending on the make, it's usually .00005 to .0001 per MSD..

Thanks for all the posts that helped me with my own lease.
I'm in SoCal. Got this deal for month of Sept.

IS 250 RWD F sport, Navigation, Blind Spot Mirror
    Ultra White exterior, Black interior
    36 month, 12k/year
$1500 (first month's payment and all fees) drive off
    0 down, 330/month, put down 9 MSDs
    Residual 65%
MF 0.00058 (original MF 0.00130 then each MSD lowered MF by 0.00008)

    Cheers

Which dealership did you get that deal at ?

    Thanks
  • dnguyen8dnguyen8 Member Posts: 4
Santa Monica and Longo. But remember it's October now so new MF and residuals. This car has a really high residual right now so if you're looking at Audi or BMW the lease for a Lexus is much better IMO.

    Hey guys,

Would love some perspective on this quote.

IS 250 with F Sport and Nav package

    Dealership in VA
    MSRP - 41,000
    Length - 36 months
Monthly PMT (0$ Down) - 601 (with tax etc included)
Money Factor - .0023 (seems very high...)
    Residual - 28,145

Any suggestion for next steps or how to negotiate further?
  • desimartindesimartin Member Posts: 10
    Hi there :)

Just trying to explore all of my options before I make a decision and was wondering the MF and residual for October on a 2014 IS250 AWD for 18k miles and 27 months. Thank you for your help, you are awesome!
  • steevosteevo Member Posts: 389
601 is way too high. You can look at previous posts and see what others have recently worked out. Go back one page.
  • d_nyholmd_nyholm Member Posts: 80
That seems pretty terrible to me. Based on your numbers, i get a payment of $513 before taxes and fees added in. That gives you $3168 in taxes and fees over the life of the lease. This is assuming they are selling you the car at MSRP.

If I were to look at this car, I would shoot for a payment of AT THE MOST $388/month plus taxes and fees (they calculated your fees and taxes at $88/month which seems high to me). That would give you a payment of $476 assuming the taxes and fees are correct. This is still high, but I would not pay more than this.

To get these numbers, i assumed a MSRP of 41k, selling price of $39K (though getting over $2500 off should be easy), same residual you used, and a money factor of .0013 (which was the money factor last month). If your credit is sub par, that could be part of the issue.

I would either find another dealership or just show them a truecar printout or use Costco or USAA if available for ease of transaction. You can get more money off than those companies, but if you do not like to negotiate, they are very helpful.

    Good luck and report back!
  • grove21grove21 Member Posts: 4
Thanks so much! That's a great base line to work with. I don't mind negotiating just needed to know ball park what I should be looking for.

It could be that the area I'm is a fairly small market, with only one Lexus dealership. Was gonna go to DC after making some calls and getting better initial quotes up there.

Will report back what I end up with
