Please report on your Mitsubishi Montero Sport mileage here.

Include your odometer reading, city/highway mix, driving style or anything else you think may help others compare their mpg with yours. Thanks!

I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport 2WD LTD. I am the original owner. I drive all over the Los Angeles area, combination city/hwy. I am not an aggressive driver, but I do tend to travel in the 70-80 range on the fwy (when possible). I have kept mpg records obsessively. I get 17-19 mpg pretty consistently. The best mileage I've gotten has been about 22 mpg on long road trips. My current odometer reading is 184,200. I have just about worn this car out, but I like it enough to think about repairing/replacing it piece by piece. :)

I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport 2WD XLS 3.0, i am the second owner. I normally drive around south florida, some rides are 5-10 miles, other are 40-50 miles. I keep tracking of my mpg, currently, im getting a constant 19.2 MPG. My current odometer reading is 98,000. The car still running great, i just changed belts and put a new fresh batterie on it. Im using K&N filters for the air and oil and regular gasoline 87. :)

can't say enough how much i love this car. i am the original owner for the last 11+yrs and it has done nothing but performed reliably without major repairs. i did have my clutch replaced @ 215k miles.

it gets' about 20-21 mpg highway/city combined.

i don't think there will be any problems taking her up to 300k miles. my goal is 400k to 500k miles. every 100k interval i report in to mitsubishi to let them know how well the suv is performing.

169,000 turnpike at 75 is 17mpg unless windy, highway/city mix is 18. local hiways at 60 I get 20 mpg. Ive owned this truck since 105,000 and have never spent so much on repairs because of mitsubishi engineering. If it wasn't paid for, it'd be gone a long time ago. Darn, i do like driving it though!!!
