I appreciate your keeping us all updated.
Is your dealership located in NJ ??? I am in Northern Jersey - New Providence area.
Cheers! Susie
There are a few big time Mazda dealers in your area. Wayne Mazda (largest in the country), Ramsey Mazda and Open Road Mazda are all in your neck of the woods.
I would love to have given you the sale!!
Thanks for the names of the other dealers.
Cheers,
Susie

That's the million dollar question to which I have no answer yet. Hopefully soon!

for the Hatch ("Sport" in Canada) it looks like there is a $1000 CAD increase between 2009 and 2010 models, so I would expect a similar increase on the US models.

I have heard that mentioned a few times in the Mazda6 thread, however, in my region (North East), that rebate does not exist. I don't have access to other regional programs either.
Thanks!

How many cars today still got real steering feel? It makes me wonder what's so mighty about the great-selling sport sedans from Honda? Civic Si's steering feels worse than some video games (see Car&Driver's comparison test)...all the way to the TSX or TL, which even Consumer Reports couldn't stand its numb electric steering...
BTW, he also said the CX-7 is being reworked cosmetically (including new dashboard layout and some other 'freshening') and will arrive in showrooms as a 2010 around May, which I thought was pretty odd. HOWEVER, he said it would have the turbo 4 but also the 2.5 non-turbo as an available motor! I guess the mpg complaints of the turbo 4 may be hurting sales. that thing is 4000 lbs +, i wonder how sluggish it would be with the 2.5?
Jeff
The 2010 Mazda CX-7 is undergoing some changes. I am unaware of any cosmetic changes, including the interior. As for the motor choices, you are correct. The Mazda CX-7 with the 2.3L Turbo will be the CX-7 s and the CX-7 with the NA 2.5L will be the CX-7 i, just like the Mazda3 and 6. My guess is the 2.5L will be rated around 19 city / 26 highway.
Why is it so important to keep the pricing a secret?
Peace, out :P

I like certain things about each one but I have a feeling I won't be able to test drive both before the 09's are sold out.
Just wondering if you'd driven the current 04-09 model and had any personal comparisons.
By looking at the US pricing press release the 2010 S Sport A/T is priced between the 2009 S Sport A/T and S Touring A/T. Does that look correct to you?
thanks

You know, surprisingly, I do not have full details yet. I have been checking my Mazda Intranet quite regularly so see if they have given us official price sheets including accessories and factory invoice prices, including destination. I would assume destination is $670.
Most every manufacturer that offers a nav system requires you to get every other package first. This is not unique to Mazda.
Let's put this in perspective. $1,195 for a Nav system, MID, keyless ignition and a few other features is damn cheap.
Currently, the moon roof / 6CD changer package costs $890. For another $400 you get a much better sound system made by Bose. Seems more then worth it to me.
Lets look at it this way....what other manufacturer gives you a moon roof, Bose Audio system (or equivalent), nav system, keyless ignition, Sirius radio and a perimeter alarm for $2,590. Most built in nav systems are close to $2,000 alone...
The Mazda press release from yesterday says the pricing is effective on 2-20-09 so maybe you (avi) will get the remaining info on Friday. It also shows destination at $670, which is unchanged.
This essentially get's most to buy in for the full boat of options no mater what the model. Helps raise the average selling price of the s Sport and s GT model Mazda 3s.
I agree it is a good bundled price and think a lot of folks will take it. After all BMW charges $2K for Nav alone. I think the price of OEM Nav systems will begin to go down and this is the first evidence of it.
The new grill that everyone seems to be dwelling on actually provides reduced drag and therefore the same or better fuel economy than the outgoing model even with the more powerful engine. I must have read 50 or so reviews on the new model and not one has had any negative accept for the grill. It's a matter of personal taste.
I buy a car for it's capabilities and fun factor. It just seems rather stupid to not buy a car because it has a different style grill. Take a look at other models on the road from almost any manufacturer. You can certainly make a facial expression out of any of them. Take your choice!
What I found interesting is the 2010 Mazda3 s Sport, which is more along the lines of the 2009 s Touring, is a few dollars LESS then the 2009 model.
Pricing across the board seems to be very similar to 2009. That's great news.
I downloaded and read the msrp info from last week. I agree. The car is priced between last years Sport and Touring models which is pretty impressive.
2010 S Sport A/T + destination retails for $20,210. Can you tell me what invoice is for this car?
thanks
Invoice is $18,975. Don't forget, your area may have a regional assessment in the neighborhood of $200-$300.
I will have a 2010 Mazda3 sedan s GT at my dealership on Monday. Mazda is coming for training. I will take pics and report to how is looks in person and how drives.
So excited to hear your thoughts and opinions!!
Cheers!
The 2010 Mazdaspeed3 will arrive on dealer lots come June. It will be in four colors. Black Mica, Velocity Red Mica, Celestial Blue and Liquid Silver.
No word yet on exact power output.

Is this information available to all dealers and if so where should they be looking? They don't seem to have any idea about configurations or prices.
