  • Hi all,

Im interested in leasing a 2012 GLK350 4Matic with heated seats and premium 1 package, special paint also. MSRP is $ 43445. Mercedes has a special $ 419/month lease based on a $ 41065 cap cost. Then they require $ 3389 at signing--first month, $ 795 acquisition, and cap cost reduction of $ 2175. I can get the $ 43445 down to $ 39000 but when I do the math, mf and the rest, my totals are coming to over $ 500/month. Do I take their deal and just work on the money due at signing--i.e. try to eliminate the $ 2175 ? Thanks for any help, looking to pull the trigger soon.

No. Don't take their deal. Negotiate everything first.

It's easy to make the payment go down by increasing the amount of "down payment" you put up. Simple math. You want zero "down payment." DMV etc. up front is to be expected. You can either pay the acquisition fee up front in cash or roll it into the lease. Your choice.

Post the basics of your lease here so we can help you analyze it. We need these five things:

    MSRP - 43,445
Selling price. shall we use $39,000?
Months? Beyond 36-39 the math goes south quickly.
    quoted MF?
    Residual value?

With this info we can get you the pre-tax payment. And also tell where they are making money from the deal. THEN you back armed with all the knowledge you need.
  • The MF quoted when i went to the dealership was. 00177 and the residual on a 30 month lease was 66%, 60% on a 36 month, either with 12000 miles. This is what i came up with:

Assume 38000 as my discounted cost

    38000-(43445 x. 66) divided by 30 months
    38000-28673.70 " "
    9326.3 " "
    $310.88 monthly finance payment

    (38000+28673.7) x. 00177 = $118.01

    Thus $310.88+$118.01 = $ 428.89 my monthly cost / no money down
Am i correct? Thanks for the help!
  • Hi gavin2000. Mercedes-Benz Financial's October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 30-month lease of a 2012 GLK350 4Matic with 10,000 miles per year are .00177 and 67%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tiers.

The residual value for a lease with only 7,500 miles per year would be 1% higher.

  • Hi Car Man,

I’m looking for the Money factor / residual value (tier 1) November numbers for 2 cars:

    2012 GLK 350 and C250 coupe

24 or 36 months and 7,500 miles and also if conquest cash still available

Thank you in advance for your help
  • Hi CarMan,

I'm looking to lease a 2011 or 2012 GLK 4matic, for 30 months, 12-15k per year. Would you happen to have the current residuals/mfs for both MY's? I know leasing an '11 may not be favorable now, but i figured I would ask for your opinion.

    Thank you!
  • Hi CarMan,

I currently have an offer on a GLK 350 rwd 15K miles per year for 3 years with command navigation, tier 1 credit and conquest program for $465.00/month

    vehicle price $33189
    MF 0.00121
    residual 60%
$892 down (1st month and DMV costs)

Can you let me know if this is a good deal

    thank you
  • Here you go sunnyfl1. Mercedes-Benz Finance's November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24-month lease of a 2012 GLK 350 AWD with 7,500 miles per year are .00135 and 69%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tiers.

  • I certainly do porsche911c4s. Mercedes-Benz Financial's current 30-month buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 30-month lease of a 2012 GLK 350 4Matic with 15,000 miles per year are .00135 and 62%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

You definitely do not want to lease a 2011 GLK right now. It's lease program is pretty bad.

  • Hi wineaddict. The money factor that you were quoted looks great. It's right in line with Mercedes' buy rate for this truck. It's great that you know that the selling price is. This is a very important number to know. I just need something to compare it to. Do you know this truck's MSRP or invoice price? Let me know and I'll tell you what I think.

  • Mercedes is forgiving up to 8 lease payments on current GLK leases -- our 2010 wasn't due til April, but turned it in over the weekend and did deal on new 2012 AWD GLK

MSRP 48769 -- paint, lighting, P1, Multimedia launch w/camera, prepaid maintenance

    cap 43769

lease is 7500 miles 30 months

residual .66, MFactor .00134 with autopay

monthly is 485.44 plus Mass sales tax 6.25 = $515.78

zero down, just DMV, first month, and bank fee upfront.. May roll bank fee, havent decided.

Looks like a good deal, Chambers, Boston area, anyone want to know more just post or email me.

    Comments welcome

    Thanks

    Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had the MF and residual for November on a 2012 GLK 4-Matic AWD for a 36 month lease at 12,000 and 15,000 miles?

    Thanks,

    Stephen
  • Thanks carman,

I went to the dealership today and they offered 43,080 --> 37,000 on a GLK w/4matic, P1, Heated Seats and Ipod. I didn't negotiate at all. This does not include conquest or Loyalty. Looks very good. Roughly 3,600 below invoice. In your opinion could I go lower? I will probably lease as the November rates as you had mentioned above are better than October's.
  • Hi Car Man + others

Here is the most recent deal I was given. They gave me this price with essentially 0 haggling. The price includes a winter certificate and something else they didn't mention. I'm self-employed and do not count in any employee pricing/fleet discount.

    '12 GLK 4 matic.

    MSRP: 43,635
    Neg: 37,000

    P1, COMAND, Heated seats

    NO conquest or loyalty.

    30 months / 15k Year
    Monthly: $472 including tax
    Residual: .62%
Money Factor: .00165 (marked up by .00030)
Due at signing: 2000 (DMV, first months, acquisition fee, window etching)

I don't want to pay for the etching of the VIN's, or pay for the inflated money factor. I called 10 different dealerships and they either thought the deal i was given was bogus or I was crazy. One sales manager was super nice and patient and agreed to give me the vehicle at the Neg. price of 37,000 and no window etching and a MF of .00155...but it requires a 300 mile round trip. No dealer I've found will give me the money factor of .00135 (which is approximately a $20/month savings). I've been in touch with dealers in CT/MA/NY. Can anyone recommend a dealer who does not inflate MF's or is this is good as it gets?

    Thanks!!

    Hi Porsche

See my deal a few posts above?

Was HARD to get Chambers of Boston them to admit money factor was .00135 (.00134 of you use autopay) -- I have bought from them before (same salesman too). IN the end they agreed but I had to threaten to walk

They were taking back a 2010 GLK off lease 5 months early, and they stood to turn that around and resell it, so were eager for deal

Deal off MSRP was in same ball park as yours -- I see you have done the math, with a difference of about $20/month -- I would try to get them to throw in the prepaid maintenance ($619 or $729, which can be residualized) and call it done?
  • Here's the information that you're looking for, Stephen. Mercedes-Benz Financial's November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2012 GLK350 4Matic with 15,000 miles per year are .00135 and 56%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The residual value for a lease with only 12,000 miles per year would be 2% higher.

  • hello.

    I am looking at a 2012 GLK

    P1 package
    Nav
    Running boards

    MSRP of $46,000
    Discounted to $43,900
    12,000 miles
    $2,800 down

$600 per month which includes taxes...

    Is this a decent deal?
  • Hi carman,

Can you provide the residuals and MFs for the above lease at 12k and 15k?

    Thanks a bunch!
  • I certainly can jacmyoung2. Mercedes-Benz Financial's January buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 30-month lease of a 2012 GLK350 4Matic with 15,000 miles per year are .00135 and 54%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

  • Carman are you sure? I read earlier the residual for the 36-mo was 54%.

    Thanks.
  • Hi Car_Man,

Do you have the January 2012 money factor and residual numbers for 36-month lease of a 2012 GLK350 2WD with 10,000 miles per year?

    Thanks in advance.
  • I did make the deal this week. See lease numbers below. Is this OK?

    Invoice 43,160
    MF 0.00187
    Residual 63%
    Term 30-month
    Trade in amount $3000
    Lease payment $586/month (tax included)

My other concerns... I wasn't sure about the acquisition fee $995 for NC (this amount was capitalized) and signed up for the Simoniz Glass Coat protection package (interior). Should I have opted out Simoniz protection and challenged the acquisition fee amount?
  • Additional info...

    MSRP is $45,660
    P1
    Color Steel Grey
    Destination charge $875
    Multimedia
    Lighting
    Heated Front
    Keyless Go
