Now that we're firmly in August, anyone know the new lease rates for the Z? 39/15 in a touring would be nice.

Here's the info that you're looking for, qle. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2009 370Z Coupe Touring with an automatic transmission and 15,000 miles per year are .00290 and 53%, respectively.

    Hello Carman,

Please provide the MF and Residual for an 09 370Z Base w/ manual transmission. This would be for a 36 month lease and 12k per yr. 10k if available. Thanks very much!!

Greetings ajpbf7. Here's the information that you're looking for. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base 2009 370Z Coupe with an automatic transmission and 12,000 miles per year are .00290 and 53%, respectively.

I don't believe that NMAC offers 10,000 mile per year leases on Nissan division vehicles, but if it does its residual value for this term is probably 1% higher.

Is Nissan not interested in leasing the 370z ? Because The lease factor is really bad! I just visited the dealer last night to help a friend lease a rogue and I asked about the numbers on a Z and the residual was about 51/52% more or less with a money factor of about .00319 or something alone those lines.Whats up with that.
  • sm16sm16 Member Posts: 11
Car_Man - do you have the most current residual and MF for a 2010 base 370Z ? 36/39 months with 12K miles?

    Thanks!
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
You're right, bajapanty350z. The lease program on the Z is not very attractive.

Where are ya buddy? Can you give me the Residual and MF for a 2010 370Z Coupe Touring with Sport Package and Navigation with 6-Speed Manual? I am not sure if the program is for a 36 or 39 month term. Also, for 15,000 miles per year and 20,000 miles per year.

    Thank you!

Hi polyvw. Here's the information that you're looking for.

Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 370Z Coupe Touring with an automatic transmission and 12,000 miles per year are .00275 and 54%, respectively.

Nissan is scheduled to introduce its new March lease program tomorrow, March 2nd. I would be happy to provide you with an update if you're interested.

I'm here. Here's the information that you're looking for.

Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 370Z Coupe Touring with a manual transmission and 15,000 miles per year are .00275 and 56%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00275 and 55%.

15,000 miles per year is the highest mileage allowance that NMAC publishes residuals for. If you need to drive more than this, you will have to purchase additional miles on a per-mile basis. It is less expensive to do so at lease signing than it is to wait until lease-end and have to pay an excess mileage penalty.

The above program is scheduled to run through today, March 1st. Nissan will introduce its new March program tomorrow. Let me know if you're interested in an update.

As always, Thank you Car_man. Stupid me, I should have waited till today (March) to request the figures. When you get a chance, please post what the March program is for the above. Thank you!
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
Don't worry about it, it happens all the time. Here's the new info.

Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s March buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 370Z Coupe Touring with a manual transmission and 15,000 miles per year are .00265 and 56%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00265 and 55%.

Very good sir. Thank you again. If you can, I posted the same question in the Hyundai Genesis section for the Genesis Coupe. Could you get me figures on that for March program?

    Thank you!

No problem. I'll look into what Hyundai did with its March programs and head on over to the Genesis discussion in the next day or two. See you there.

I asked a couple weeks ago at the Nissan dealership in town and I was quoted 48% with 12k miles for 39months, not sure what the money factor was though on a brand new black 370z w/Sports Package, Manual 6, full size spare, cloth seats. To much for me so I ended up buying a used 2005 350z Touring with leather, manual 6 with 34k miles on it for 1/2 the price. With a 4k down payment it was near $370 a month or so.

The Z series definitely keep their value if you keep the mileage minimal and the car in good condition.

Car_man - Could you please share the numbers for a 370Z Roadster Touring w/ Sport 6mt for 36 and 39 months with 15K year? Also, do they offer 18K or 20K miles a year? Thanks in advance for your help.
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
I'd be happy to help you out, z4maudioman.

Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster Touring with an automatic transmission and 15,000 miles per year are .00230 and 50%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00230 and 49%.

I don't believe that NMAC offers leases with more than 15,000 miles per year. If you need to drive that much, you will have to purchase additional miles on a per-mile basis. It is usually less expensive to do so at lease signing than it is to wait until lease-end and have to pay an excess mileage penalty.

    Hi Carman,

Could you please post the MF and residual for the base 370z with an auto and manual transmission. This would be for 36 months and 10k per year. Thank you.
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051
It might take forever for someone to respond with the rates. Why don't you just ask the dealer, ask two if you think the first one is messing with the MF. They can't touch the residual but can mark up the MF. I have watched Z lease rates for the past couple of years and can tell you that they are horrible horrible cars to lease.

You could probably save $100 a month or more by leasing the much nicer G37 coupe.

Thanks for the info. I have leased a g35 coupe in the past for the same reason you just mentioned. However, I prefer the 370z over the G37. The MF have been horrible and the residuals are not great, but I keep thinking Nissan might get agressive. The Nissan dealerships in my area are not very upfront and I know they mark up the MF. Thus, why I usually lease out of state.

    Hi Car_man,

I'm about to purchase a 2010 370Z Roadster and am wondering what current incentives are being offered for the vehicle. Edmunds doesn't list any offers, but i'm pretty sure there are still incentives on the 2010 roadsters. I've heard upwards of $10K in marketing cash. Please let me know if you have this info. Thanks for your help.
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
Hey z4maudioman. I've only seen $2,000 in dealer cash on the 2010 Z Roadster. $10,000 sounds a little on the high side.

    Hi Car_man,

I want to order a 2012 NISMO 370Z and would like to lease. Do you have the latest MF and residual for a 12k and 15k lease? I'm considering either 36 or 39 months. I'd like my negotiation to focus on the sale price instead of worrying about the other moving parts.

    Thanks!

Hey trackfiend. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2012 370Z NISMO Coupe with 15,000 miles per year are .00210 and 50%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39-month lease are .00210 and 49%.

If you were to lease with only 12,000 miles per year, this car's residual values would be 1% higher.

Here you go roachforlife. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s May buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2012 370Z Coupe Base with a manual transmission and 15,000 miles per year are .00092 and 57%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

Can I get the latest money factor and residual rates for July 2012? 36 months... MSRP $43.9k

Trading in a car at $5k appraisal. They still want $1k cash on top of it, for a $455 monthly payment. I have average credit, but seems like the cash component should be gone, minimally (essentially $621/mo), or am I overlooking something?

I haven't seen all the numbers from the dealer quite yet.

    Thanks!
