Hello to everyone! I would appreciate your input CarMan on this deal that I just received. Looking to lease a 2014 QX60 almost fully loaded with MSRP of $57,000. I was quoted $739/mo. sign and drive for 39 mo. and 15K miles/year. I was also quoted for a 2013 fully loaded model for $629/mo. w/ almost the same MSRP again w/ 39 mo. and 15K and sign and drive. Could you please let me know if these are good deals. We are looking to lease the vehicle before Monday or Tuesday. Thank you in advance for any input and/or help you could offer.

Where are you located? If you are looking at sign and drive, your taxes would be included in your payment. We would need to know the tax rate since that would make a big difference in the payment.
  • fenicep3fenicep3 Member Posts: 14
Yes taxes are rolled in the monthly payment. I am in new york. I really appreciate your help. TY again
  • fenicep3fenicep3 Member Posts: 14
Everything is rolled in monthly payment actually, DMV also...ty

Looking at it quickly (since my personal lease analysis spreadsheet is made for paying taxes and fees up front), I think you are getting a great deal on the JX. It looks like you are paying $50-51K for the car. The QX looks like a good deal as well but you are probably paying $2-3K more for the 2014 versus the 2013 model.

Curious where in NY are you located and what dealer are you using? I think overall you are getting a better deal than me. My car is only $54K but I think you got a higher percentage off MSRP than I did.

I want to thank everyone here who has posted suggestions/information on leases for Infiniti JX - they were very helpful to me.

I just negotiated a lease (my first one ever - we have always purchased before) on a 2013 JX35. MSRP was approx $52,300 (premium package and drivers assist package). I traded in a very old SUV which they gave me pennies for (so old it still had a cassette player), put $2500 down, and got a 39 month lease for $485/mo including tax (same as ~$440/mo plus tax in CA). Residual is 56%, 12K miles/yr.

The most helpful suggestion that I got off this forum was to be willing to walk away from the deal. We started negotiations with my offer of $1500 down (plus trade-in) and $475/mo lease, and their counter of $680/mo lease. We ended up settling (after 2 hours) at $2500 down (plus trade-in) and $485/mo lease (including taxes). I absolutely would have walked out of there without a car if we hadn't gotten that close to my original offer.

It helped a ton that I was leasing a 2013 and I think they are highly motivated to get the 2013s off the lots right now.

Sounds like you did pretty good for yourself. Too bad the dealer wasted 2 hours of your time instead of being upfront and making their best offer right away. Regardless, consider yourself a winner and enjoy the car!
  • norcalpeetniknorcalpeetnik Member Posts: 2
Thanks tax_atty! I'll gladly give 2 hours of my time to a dealer to save that much money at the end of the day. It would have been really frustrating to spend that time and get nowhere :)

My Wife & I both drive Infiniti's ('04" QX w/84K & are at the end of a '10' G37x lease w/56K) we have been looking around for the last 6 months & keep coming back to the JX to replace the QX. We are looking at a lease on a loaded AWD model: Liquid Platinum, Graphite Leather, Premium Pkg, Driver Assistance Pkg, Technology Pkg, Deluxe Touring Pkg, Theater Pkg, Roof Rails, Roof Rail Crossbars, Rear Bumper Protector, Illuminated Kick Plates, Tow Pkg, Cargo Pkg - MSRP: $60,685 incld $995 dest fess - Confirmed internet price $53,000. We have very similar price quotes on the new Q60. We are looking at 2 lease options: 10K/39 month or 20K/39 month. What can we expect for residuals & $ factor? Which model year can we expect the best deal on? I'm thinking the 13 JX but I'm looking for any help & guidance this forum can provide.
We are also looking at the '13' QX56 4WD loaded with similar options to the JX/Q60 - MSRP $80,015 - Confirmed price $70,000 and looking for similar lease guidance.

We looked at the 2013 JX35 yesterday. Told the leases where currently better than the 2014 QX. The current proposal is for a White JX35 AWD with Premium Plus package (is there a difference b/w premium and premium plus?).
The book shows a difference but I never see forum mentions of the Premium PLus package. Also includes 20" wheels (wasnt something we were looking for).

    $2000 total out of pocket
$541/month for 39 months or $563/month for 36 months - includes all taxes
    10k miles.

I asked for a 36 month option. Reason: I hate 39 month leases as it means more tire wear and I do not want to replace tires on a car I won't own. Do you agree? Especially a car with 20" wheels.

I am not familiar with Infiniti when it comes to disposition and policy on excess wear. The disclaimer states tires must have 1/8" tread. Todays tires barely get to 30K miles with a safe tire tread.

Curious to get thoughts. They say you can come in from 90-120 days prior to lease end to negotiate a new lease typically with no penalty. But how do I know I will want another Infiniti. In other words, I feel the 36 month may offer me better flexibility for $20 more per month.

I need to get the residual, mf for better detail.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I just got a online quote from a Dealer offering me the Base JX35 2013 :
    MSRP: 40k
    Price(To be Determine at Negociation)
    money factor is .00029
    residual 56% 10k
    residual 55% 12k

Given Close to $ 2000 (Taxes,Tag,First Month, Tires......)

They quote me about $486 per month for 36 Months and 12,000 miles per year

I picked this lease up at Circle Infiniti in West Long Branch. They recently bought up 10-15 JX35 cars from various dealers. They are pricing the 13's aggressive. I considered the 36 month very strongly for an additional $22/month but thought otherwise as they claim to have attractive early termination if you stay with Infinity. Have never previously had a 39 month and don't want to have to replace tires or do any servicing beyond oil and rotations.
  • karma_nkarma_n Member Posts: 1
Picked up a JX 35 with premium pkg, theater pkg, drivers assistance pkg and illuminated kickplates. MSRP was $51,240. Leased it for $500 inclusive of taxes (462.5 + tax) in Southern California. I paid $1,850 down, that included first month payment, title, taxes, etc. The dealer also threw in free maintenance (I think only oil changes). The lease term is 39 months and 10K miles / year. Is this a good deal?

    Hi guys,

I just got a fully loaded awd qx60 for 39 months and 15K miles a year with zero down. Came out to $685 a month. it came out to $799 a month for a 24 month lease.
  • younghyoungh Member Posts: 11
Would you mind providing a breakdown of this as well as what state you live in?
  • zmm12345zmm12345 Member Posts: 13
This is with NY sales tax.

I got it through a leasing place in Brooklyn. I have had great experiences with them. They give a very fair price but they also take care of everything for me. I am giving in my last lease and they will do the inspection, return, if my waiver doesn't cover the damage I have then they will take care of it at the lowest possible cost and just give me the bill....

  • cosmocatcosmocat Member Posts: 3
It depends on the package or packages you got with it. If it is base model I would say you could do better...if it is loaded, nice work.
