Audi recently posted the 2015 A3 configuration tool on its Audi USA website. Any word from dealers on pricing there?

You can find pricing info at http://www.edmunds.com/audi/a3/2015/options.html

Looks like the base model starts at $29,900 (plus destination, taxes, registration, etc.).

Looking at a base A3 with auto tranny and they basically offered us MSRP for the car plus the wife's '05 Mazda3s with 137k...basically giving us all the fees for the price of her trade. MSRP, seriously? The invoice for our area is about $30,240 according to truecar.com so why would they make such a ridiculous price for their vehicle? Is this the way Audi stores operate normally? The wife loves the vehicle and all the safety gizmos it has but the price offer is just nonsense. She started at $25k plus her vehicle which is also a ridiculous offer but one has to start somewhere. Can these things realistically be gotten for any amount below invoice and are there any hidden rebates out there? We figured this time of the year is a good time to purchase because most folks aren't looking at such big ticket items. Luckily our time frame is to purchase between now and December 31st so there may be some hope to somehow get to a fair price for both parties I'm thinking!

Use the Make / Model / Year pull downs to establish a good target price. The A3 is selling quite well (more than the A4 last month, in fact), so dealers aren't willing to discount much.

Use the "Car Reseach" tab at the top of the page to link to any available Audi incentives.

Will give it a try. She's going to look at the Jetta also as it's at a better price point and think it'll give her the same smile as the A3 does. I like the more affordability that the VW has plus the use of unleaded regular. We've never spent as much as they want for the A3 on a vehicle, ever, and just don't think it's the prudent thing to do at this juncture. The Jetta could be the perfect alternative actually!
