I'm looking for a Q50 Premium with w/ spare tire. leather, nav, touring. Here's what I got from a dealer

Here is a quote on a car just like you built. Money factor is .00058. If it was 0.00049 (from 9 MSDs), payment at 39 months would be $7/month less. Not sure if that info helps figure about the deposits, but I did confirm you are allowed to do it if you want.

    Lease Payments Estimated
    Cash Down .00 2,000.00 3,000.00
    24 Months 638.27 548.28 503.29
    36 Months 565.24 504.84 474.64
    39 Months 537.95 482.09 454.17
    Annual Mileage Allowed: 15000

    Market Value Selling Price 47,385.00
    Discount 3,000.00

    Adjusted Price 44,385.00
    Total Purchase 44,385.00
    Taxable Fees (Estimated) 235.50
    Trade Allowance
    Trade Difference 44,385.00
    Doc Fee 899.00
    Tax 73.74
    Non Tax Fees 427.00
    Net Price 46,020.24
    Trade Payoff
    Balance 46,020.24

I would appreciate any feed back regarding this deal. Can someone tell me the MF and Resid for this vehicle?

This didn't frame up well on my monitor. The 3 payments are for zero down, 2K and 3k down

Where are you located billncat? Have you tried going through TrueCar or some other service to validate the pricing you are getting?

The MF looks correct (base amount) but you shouldn't have to put down that many MSDs to get that rate. I just leased a Q50 and put down 5 MSDs to drop the rate from .00058 to .00008

Here is a guide to MSDs with Infiniti that will help: http://www.infinitiq50.org/forum/infiniti-q50-dealers-pricing/2009-if-you-lease-msd-may-way-go-10.html

p.s. - that doc fee is insane! What state is that? Here in Cali it is capped at $55. That doc fee is pure profit for the dealer, so I'd suggest working on a lower price for the car (i.e. a higher discount). Don't be afraid to call them out on the doc fee either.

Base MF for Q50 is indeed .00058.

Residuals are 69% for 24 mo, 60% for 36 mo and 59% for 39 mo - all for 10K miles per year

What is current MF and residual on Q50 premium?

Have a lease offer for $404 per month, $3500 down, on Q50 premium with MSRP of $42,875. It seems high, particularly given the down payment. Thoughts?

To clarify, this would be a 39 month lease, 10,000 miles per year.

I was told the MF is .00056 and the residuals 62% for 10,000 miles 60% for 12,000 miles and 59% for 15,000 mile on a 39 mo lease. I have also been told the loyalty is back to 1500 not the 1,000.

.00056 for AWD, .00066 for 2WD. Base residual for Q50 sedan is 62%, Premium is 59% and Sport is 57% (both AWD and 2WD, 39 months) - all for 15K. Add 2% for 12K and 3% for 10K to each of the numbers.

    RWD - 60-% and .00066

    AWD - 60% and .00056

Using your numbers and RWD MF, I get a pre-tax payment of $494. Is the $2000 down for taxes and fees or does some of that reduce the cap cost?

Is the $559/mo with or without tax? My calculations work out to a pre-tax payment of $541/mo (AWD) or $549/mo (RWD).

When is the best time to lease a Q50? I know month to month deals change but, over the past year has there been any great deals that could come up this year? Does infiniti ever do 0 down deals?

Hard to predict when the best deals are available. Residuals tend to go down later in the model year, but money factors can shrink as well to compensate.

I'm not aware of special promotions by Infiniti that include $0 down leases, but it shouldn't be hard to set one up with only the first payment due at signing. Roll all the other fees, etc into the lease.

Can anyone confirm if the above numbers for the residual values and money factor for April are the same for the Hybrid? Are there any tax rebates?

Hybrid numbers are not the same as for the regular gas-only models. AWD or RWD? What trim level? Lease term and miles per year?

Thanks much for the forum and replies. Very helpful. I've sifted through the last few pages thru March and I can't find up to date MF and Residuals on a Q50 Premium @36 months and 10K miles and RWD. Looks like MF is .00066 but residuals value isn't posted. Guessing its about 61 - 63%. Please advise. Thanks again.

Please advise the current money factor and residual value for the 2014 Q60 AWD Premium coupe for 24 months, 10,000 miles per year.

(I didn't see a Q60 forum so hopefully it's OK to post here).

Just saw a promotion on dealer's website: comes with Complimentary Premium Package. $249 per month for 24mos 10k per year. Model #92214 2 or more at this payment. MSRP $46,205. Excludes taxes, title, license, and fees. For well qualified lessees. $2,700 consumer down payment plus first month payment due at lease inception. Subject to credit approval. Is this a good deal?

    Thank you.

Not enough information to really say .. I'm sure there is a break in the selling price, but how much? Taxes, title, license and fees could be quite a bit, depending on where you live. And, if the $2700 is considered a down payment or cap cost reduction, then the real payment is over $100 more per month.

Going by those numbers I want to test if I am doing this right....

So let's say the msrp is 38,000 and let's say I brake even and don't get any discount nor is the cap cost bumped up. So that would mean:

    38,000-(38,000 * 0.64) = 13680..... Which divided by 39 payments = 350

    38,000 + (38,000 * 0.64)= 62320.... Which times the .00034 MF = 21

    (350 + 21) * 1.07 (7% tax dade county FL) = 397

So is it safe to say if nothing and just breaking even I can expect a $397 payment a month, or am I doing this wrong or being unrealistic?

Yes... your calculations are correct. However, you have to account for an acquisition fee, and title/registration fees... along with the dreaded FL dealer doc fee (known for being outrageous).

But, you should be able to easily get a big enough discount to cover those fees... so, your hypothetical deal should be attainable.

I really hope I can work them down as close to 10% discount as possible. I know its more of a possibility on a G37 because the Q is replacing it. But I had in mind to have 2k cash on me and try to haggle the price down as close to 10% off as possible. Is there any incentives?

I am working with a couple dealers in PA on a 39 month, 15K lease for a Q50S AWD with Navigation: I don't have all the details of the latest offer but here is what I know:
    MSRP: $47655
    Negotiated Price: $44247
    Fees: $463.50
    Tax: 2,686
    Net sales price: $47,393.13
Due at signing: $1,585 for first month and fees. Zero down on car. Payment is $527 after tax.

I don't have the MF but it appears they are using a 55% residual value on the car (based on my calculator). Interesting point, 2 of the 3 dealers told me True Car is only good on financing, not leases.

I don't have the MF but it appears they are using a 55% residual value on the car (based on my calculator). Interesting point, 2 of the 3 dealers told me True Car is only good on financing, not leases.

.00024 MF and 55% residual. Purchase quotes often have incentives that are different from what's offered on a lease.

A couple of things.. It looks like you are mixing up the purchase quote with a lease quote. I'm pretty sure that PA taxes the payment, each month (9%?), so you wouldn't add tax to the price.. Also, $463 fees? Looks like you are paying those in your upfront on the lease (so, maybe that's the title/dealer fees if you purchase).

Anyway... just using your MSRP and negotiated price, I get a pre-tax payment of $480/mo., which with 9% tax, gets me within $4 of your quoted payment....

Thanks for running the numbers! The breakdown was very basic. I was hoping she would have sent something along a little more detailed so I could get all of the details. I'm working with other dealers, hopefully they make an attempt to beat the price.

Hi All – I’m new to this forum and have found it very helpful since this my first time leasing. I have been in contact with a dealer in GA for leasing a 2014 Q50 Premium. The terms he provided are outlined below and was hoping you guys could let me know if this is a good deal or not. Also, if there are other ways to get the monthly costs down..I'm all ears!. I'm trading in my 2007 Mazda 6 with 75,000 mi on it (blue book value of $6,000)

On a graphite shadow/graphite Q50 Premium the sticker price is $41,510.
    The Invoice is $38,909
cap cost of $38,692.45 plus taxes and fees.
    $6,000 for the trade-in,
    Monthly payment is $388
This is for a 12,000 mile per year 39 month lease.
The residual value is $24,490. The money factor is .00110.
Tax on all vehicles in Georgia is 6.75% and will rise next year.

    Thanks!

I'm assuming RWD since you are in Georgia. Using your MSRP and cap cost with the 59% residual and .00034 MF, I get a pre-tax payment of $385.62 for 39 months and 12K.

Note that the residual and MF are good only through today. New numbers from IFS will be released tomorrow and we hope to have access to them as soon as possible.

Now, I'm not 100% certain how to factor in the new tax structure in GA - I think they tax the entire purchase price, but that may be built in to the cap cost you provided.

In your deal, are you using the $6000 of equity in your trade to reduce the cap cost? If so, I would recommend against it - if the car is stolen or totaled, you will be out that money. Instead, I would have the dealer cut you a check for the equity, then use that money to help out with the payment each month. Or, use it for MSD to lower the MF.

just looking to find out if the June numbers are in on the q50 premium AWD for 10k and 36 and 39 month terms. Thanks in advance guys. I'm assuming 1500 loyalty is still in effect and no pull ahead or other programs.
