MSRP $34595 (Premium w/ Cold Weather Pkg) What should I be shooting for? I've never dealt with Audi before. I assume they'll be stingy since this is a new model..

Hard to say... but, discounts will likely be small or hard to come by, at first..

I don't have the 27 month residual, but the 24 month is 70%.

Hi, could I please have the money factor and residue for Premium Plus, 36 months 10k? I'm debating between P and P+, the main factor being Drive Select and Side Assist not available on the P. Any thoughts on how useful those features are? Many thanks.

Premium Plus - 58%

MF is .00148 for both.

Can't comment on the feature difference; perhaps a current Audi owner can chime in with an opinion.

Also how do these numbers change at the 7500 miles/year lease? Is it +/- a %?

1.8 - 58% And .00148

2.0 - 63% and .00152

Add 1% for 7500 miles

Thanks Michael-Where do these rates come from? The dealer is insisting on .00212 which equates to a $600+ monthly rate. That's ridiculous on a $41K car!

We get our numbers from Audi Finance. The dealer may be marking up the rate on you for extra profit.

It might be time to find a different Audi dealer.

Audi does not have a provision for leases with any more miles than that - perhaps my co-host would know.

I think you can make up to 9 MSDs, each of which reduce the MF by .00005.

That's true.. the maximum security deposit for NY is $750. However, we've heard from members that have leased from NJ dealers, and have been able to skirt the issue, that way.

Ask you dealer to break it down. 3,133 off MSRP + 750 rebate is a tremendous deal on an A3 IMO but it appears they've baked in some extras. Assuming it's a P+, a rough calculation using your numbers gets me a payment of $480 without tax and fees.

I am looking at a 2015 A3 Premium 2.0T Quattro with Cold Weather Package + Navigation. MSRP is $36,850 and the dealer quoted $317 for 36 months with only 7500 miles and $4000 all-in (out-the-door) down payment which includes all taxes and fees. What is the Audi Financial money factor and residual for that deal? Should I take it? My friends calculate their BMW's (leased price x 36mo + money down divided by MSRP) and told me they pay about 38% of MSRP for their lease while Audi is at 42-44% of MSRP. Is that the norm for new Audi models?

.00152 MF and 64% residual.

In general, BMWs lease for less than Audis, relative to their MSRP.

The bank will get about $200 over the life of the lease, and rebate about 70% of that to the dealer (upfront).

Hmmm, I'm showing 62% residual and .00152 MF for 36/12. You might want to check with the dealer to see if this is an Audi financial service contract.

artiemack - I was quoted a lower price via a credit union at first as well, research online complaints about the credit union, they tend to be smaller and less able to service a loan accurately, and likely make mistakes in billing and later on nickel and dime you when you return the car over things that Audi Financial may not. Pay now or pay later. You also can see my lease sell price of 33,175 includes Navigation AND Cold weather at $362/mo @7500 mi, .00162 money factor and 64% residual via Audi Financial, so your sell price of 33,200 probably has a little more negotiating room depending on where you are buying. I probably should be paying $350 but I have been haggling with my dealer and figure he deserves to make a little money for throwing in Nav.

Edmunds, I renegotiated with the dealer for the Audi A3 2015 2.0T Premium with Navigation + Cold Weather Package, Scuba Blue for $36,850, sell price $33,175, money factor .00162, residual value 64%, 7500 miles/yr at $362.58/month with $2500 down (includes fees and taxes). Is this a good deal? Online lease calculators come back with $346 as the likely lease number per month so did I leave money on the table for the dealer as extra profit?

What was the MSRP? I can run the numbers through my calculator and see if they match up with what the dealer is providing.
