    MSRP $58,000
    Sale price - $48,851
    Residual Value -61% (36 months,12k/yr)
    Monthly payment - $425/month.
Total due at signing - $6,259

    This includes
    First month payment - $425
    Lease acquisition fees - $725
    Doc fees - $305
    DMV fees - $313
    Title Fee - $195
    NJ Sales Tax - $1,144

How did yo get such a low a selling pricing?

I was wondering if you had the numbers already for August lease rates and any incentives?

I am still trying to figure out what will work in my car budget and I think is worth it.

So was hoping you could provide the numbers for a 2014 - 528, 535 , 535d. It would be a 36/15 term lease unless BMW came out with a better deal on a 33 or 39 month lease? Allso, is the bbuild out cash the same, have they added anything new since the 2015's are already hitting the lots.

I am undecided bbetween this and the A6 so I'm hoping whoever is giving the better deal this month will help make my decision easier.

Struck this deal with a car broker. 2014 528i Graphite/Cinnamon Leather with only Driver Assist package and Satellite. $1000 upfront which includes 1st month, tag transfer, state tax. 36 month/10k year. $559/month includes tax. Deal was done in July, but delivery of vehicle will be 8/16.

Yes. bmw corporate fleet program gives a few discounts. Don't know how dealership apply them.

How many miles on the car? And, is it $55K minus $2500? Or does the $55K already have the $2500 factored in?

55K doesn't have 2500 factored in. miles I am not sure, but i believe it's less then 500. it's not a loaner vehicle. It's demo vehicle.

I'm only showing $1500 in buildout cash ($2500 is the diesel, the 528 or the 550).

    .00130 MF (.00081 after MSDs) and 59% residual. $511/mo.+tax.

Due at signing would be 1st payment, acq.fee, title/license/doc fees and 7 MSDs

Hello Newbie here. I really appreciate all the great help that everyone is providing. I wanted to see if I got a good deal with my recent purchase, so I can refer my friends to the sales person. Purchased on 8/3.

    Details are as below.
    •YR. 2014 528i with Alpine white exrerior
    •Cinnamon brown Dakota leather
    •Premium package
    •Heated front seats
    •Rear view camera

    •Park Distance control

    •MSRP :$54,675 (net total of $53,750 + $925 destination charge)

    •Dealer invoice : $ 50,970
    •Negotiated final selling price : $46,800
•$1,500 OOP paid (included first moth payment)
    •12,000 mi / yr
    •3 year lease
    •MF : 0.00130
    •Residual value : $33351.75 (61%)
    •Acquisition fee: $725
    •Tax is 8% for where I live

Total difference from MSRP to selling price was in saving of $7,875, and $4,170 below invoice. Final number was $524.87 (tax included). I think it is a good deal looking at the selling price. However, I was not sure if the monthly lease number was calculated correct. Let me know what you all think. Thanks in advance everyone!

Have been contemplating 3 series based on cost, hesitant because of size though. Ideally I'd lease the 5 but figured it would be minimum $600 monthly? Appears via this forum they can be leased in the 5's? Assume incentives will get better closer to year end? Any thoughts on what numbers i should use to factor best lease in terms of MF, Residual, Avg % off MSRP ?

MF is .00130 and the 36/15 RV is either 58% or 59% depending on model.

I would shoot for invoice minus incentives as a target price.

We are at year end - folks are already commenting on lack of availability of 2014's.

Sounds like a reasonable deal. For what it's worth here's what i ended up getting . $465 including 7% Nj tax , $700 out of pocket. 36/10k. Turned in a 2012 528 lease (not sure if there's a loyaly discount/rebate) msrp $54425, selling price $45400 after all rebates and $1k drive event cash. No multi security deposits , so the mf is 00130

Does anyone know what shoud be the difference in payment betwwen 10000/yr and 12000/yr? If I know the difference, I can probably conclude if my monthly payment was resonanble with $46,800 selling price and $1,500 OOP on $54,675 MSRP with $524.87 (tax included)/Mo.
    Let me know.

The base MF provided by BMWFS is .00130, but dealers are permitted to mark it up to .00170, for extra profit. Most dealers attempt to do this. Most of them don't tell blatant lies like the two dealerships you visited.

I know that the best rate is .00130 but my credit score went down as I renegotiated and eliminated a lot of CC debt so it was worthwhile to me to take the .00170. It's 4.08% vs 3.12%. I was quite happy with my deal. Great car.

This was my first lease...so hopefully I didn't get royally screwed.

    • MSRP: 64,375 (2014 535i, luxury line, drivers & drivers plus, premium)
    • INVOICE: 59,845
    • SELLING: 55,845

    • LEASE TERMS: 12k/36mo

    • RESIDUAL: 61%
    • MF: 0.00149 (3.57%)
    • FEES: 925
    • TAX: 6.25% (TX)
    • UPFRONT COST: 1750 (1st month + acquisition)
    • MONTHLY PAYMENT: $600 before tax, $706 with tax

    3 YEAR COST: $26433

I guess I could have done lowered the acq fee to 725 and MF back to base (0.0013), but this was their best offer.

The money I saved negotiating got drained by the 0.00149 MF. In hindsight, at the bare min. I should have got it for 0.0013 (675 in savings) or put MSDs down on the 0.00149 (1700 in savings).

Best case would have been 0.0008. A whopping 2400 bucks.

Sorry yes a 528i with negotiated SP of $54,058.59 . Current MF is at .00170

I should mention GM showed me paperwork, claims to be making $1400 on this deal? I've tried to move on numbers and he claims to be at bottom. This is with a $1000 drive time offer factored in on top of $2500 build out inventive. Assume you'll advise that I push on MF, is this my best play or is there something else? I'm trying to get in mid 5's

Yes, push on MF to see how low they will go. The only variables are the MF or the selling price - dealers know this and will give on one or the other.

try contacting another dealer - healthy competition should work in your favor.

Hello Michaell, what is the MF and RV for 2014 528i, 535i, and 535d for 24m/10k mi? Are the RV for 27 mths or 39 mths the same as 24 and 39 mths respectively?
    Thanks.

    MF is .00130.

    528i - 68%. $2500 build out cash.

    535i - 68%. $1500 build out cash.

    535d - 67%. $1500 build out cash and $1000 eco credit.

BMW does not offer 27 or 39 month residuals.

Hi, I am new and hoping someone can help me. I was quoted $589 a month with $3900 out of pocket. I have not seen what is in the $3900 yet because my salesperson is on vacation & I need to get a car quickly. It's a 2014, space gray 528xi with the premium, cold weather & driver assistance package & navi. 3 yr lease with 12K miles. I had a 2013 that was just totaled & this is the same pricing. Can someone tell me if this sounds reasonable? I don't have much time to shop around. I been using this same salesperson for the past 4 BMW's I've had so I'm hoping I can trust her. I will talk to her when she returns but wanted to do some homework first. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey, this forum definitely helped me a lot to understand all the aspects of leasing a BMW. Thank you to all the admins and commenters for sharing their details and providing such great info.

I wanted to share the details of a 2014 535i X Drive w/M Sport, Premium Package, Driver Assistance, Cold Weather. Dark Graphite Metallic and Nappa Leather multi contour seating.

Lease Term: 36 Months, 12K Miles

    MSRP: $67,950
    Sale Price: $58,350

    Residual: 61%
    MF: 0.0013

Down Payment: $1,610 (First month, Registration & Tags)

    Monthly Payment with tax: $669

Dealer didn't really negotiate much as he dropped the price quite a bit but I budged him. Also tried to get the $925 acquisition fee down as I read that its a mark up by the dealer but salesmen said that $925 is the price.

    Any opinions?

You are a salesperson's dream. Spend $200 and rent a car for a week and get all of the details. MSRP, selling price, tax rate, state, and a breakdown of the $3900. With all of that information, you can get help making an informed decision.

Rushing into a lease of a $50K+ car is not a good idea.

Is $1544 the full amount due at signing? Is $582/mo. the full payment including taxes? Did they disclose the money factor? (base MF is .00130)
