2015 Mazda CX-5 Leasing (MSRP, price, fees, state?)

Looking at 2015 CX 5 GT FWD (no xtras). Was quoted $27656 for 36 month lease, 10K miles, $390/month with 0 down and first month payment of $390. RV of $16,704 (58%) annd MF of 0.00029. I am in Texas. Thoughts?

.00029 MF and 58% are the base rates.. Can't run a calculation without the MSRP.

Texas taxes are high on leases, unless they are offering tax credits

The MSRP is $28,800. Yes that MF was surprisingly high. The 48 month MF was much better (0.00073). Am waiting to hear from Honda for the details of a CRV lease. That may be better priced

It's the taxes that are high... the money factor is very low... It's .00029, not .0029

Wondering if this advertised special offer is a good deal? For Southern California.

$229/Month, 33-Month Lease, $2,029 due at Lease Signing. Monthly payment includes $595 acquisition fee. No security deposit required. Excludes taxes, title and fees.
MSRP $22,945 plus $830 destination charge. Payment based on capitalized cost of $21,095 after $825 Mazda Customer Lease Support. Total payments of $7,566. Dealer participation required. Not all lessees will qualify for lowest payment through participating lender. Some payments higher, some lower based on residency and other factors. Lessee responsible for excess wear and mileage over 33,000 at $0.15/mile. Purchase option at lease end for $13,552 plus tax or price negotiated at signing. Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 9/30/2014. See participating dealer for qualifications.

It's a lease using the base MF and residual, but outside of the $825 support coming from Mazda and the $1800 downpayment from the lessee... it include virtually ZERO discount from MSRP from the dealer..

So... no, not a great deal. You should be able to do better than that..

Add 2% for AWD.

Are you sure you can't negotiate a lower cap cost? Use the pricing tools at the top of the page to help you.
