That one you checked out doesn't sound at all at the level of a CPO. You were wise to pass it up.

Don't do it. It's pretty uncommon and I've never seen terms on a used vehicle that were favorable. If you can find a factory-supported deal on a service loaner or something, where they lease it like it's a brand new car, that's different.
Would you want to? No.
I used to be (Late 90s) huge into used car leasing, but the programs are terrible these days.

say on a BMW. 4/50 warranty. Instead of doing a 3 year lease on a new unit, do it on a 1 YO demo, and essentially get the last 3 years of a 4 year lease.
depends on the MF of course, but if you are getting a comparable rate, it should be cheaper since the delta between cap cost and residual should be smaller, and of course, it will be cheaper in the first place.

Curious now as to how to fill up the tank...was researching around and some say to get the premium gas while others say to just go with the regular gas.

The car is great. Have the top down today which I love but is pretty ridiculous considering that come Thursday it's December!
Had the top down today. What crazy weather!

HOWEVER, I just looked on the Acura site and it does say 91 octane is "required." So I suppose if you are worried about warranty issues, you may want to do what they say.
We all know regular fuel would never damage a modern engine ... but I probably wouldn't risk my warranty over it.

I hate that at wholesale premium only costs $0.03 to $0.04 more per gallon yet they charge 10 times that.
Yeah, a modern convertible is definitely more nicely finished than back in the day. This one is really nice inside. With the top up you hardly notice it's a convertible until you look to the back and find the blind spots.
My run of top down days has ended. It's cooler and raining. Hoping for better by the end of the week.
The dealer doesn't know it; but it has @1 year of the BMW CPO warranty remaining.

You're in SoCal so the 2WD isn't a killer there like it would be up here... Here in Jersey? $28-29k with the damage.. Out near LA? I could see $33-34k... solid $32k.
I'd rather have this.
Even with the auto, I'd take that in a heartbeat. Although I'll admit the coupe is prettier. But that turbo trumps all, IMHO.
And here is an interesting coupe for you. Man, that's sweet.

The '07 335i sedan I posted above (dark grey over black, sport, cold weather, premium, auto, 47k miles)
an '07 GTI 6-speed 4-door, black, moonroof, clean with deep rubber, etc, and 68k miles.
an '00 540i 6-speed, dark blue over black, with everything but Nav and ... 148k miles (but looks and runs like a clean 50k car).

But I admit that I would be sorely tempted by the red 1er if it was located a little closer to home...

Probably the yellowed headlight lenses, couple of pics of it covered in bird droppings, and the missing trunk badge. I'm curious what this should be worth if its clean, though.

540? $3-3500. Megamile 12 year old V8 BMW? How about I just come over to your house and kick your wallet in the teeth?
GTI? $10k or so, assuming cloth, no roof, no little color moving map in the dash.
335i? Stock up on fuel pumps. Probably low - mid 18s.
Of course, depends on the car.. we have a 335i, danged shop banged us out for $1300 on it.
I've decided to hold onto the BMW. Those E39s are darned sturdy, so the miles don't scare me one bit. Especially this one that is as clean as they get.
What's the story on your 335? Was $1300 just for the fuel pump? Did they bother to tell you that BMW is covering the fuel pump for 120k miles now?
I'm really really leaning towards a 135, but the right deal and right color combo could persuade me.

Like I said, that thing is overpriced. Maybe they confused it with a 335.

Pads and rotors all around, and perhaps some tires.. I'd have to look.
Galves is $13900 but MMR is $17k on a car like this..
$23k is stupid tho, no more than $20k... Maybe $21k if they did like tires and brakes or something.
