I was curious; Did Toyota when go over you new vehicle instruct you to not use the cruise control for the first 1,000 miles? I was told that's the break in period and it's important that the engine not run for an extended period at the same RPM.
probably no big deal, but I've never been told that before.March 23
orangeman99nope, but the delivery guy didn't go over anything since I had the Highlander, I guess they figured I knew the car.
I have never heard of the Cruise Control thing you mentioned.
Just purchased one 2015 LE (I4), with the prices ~ $28,000 before taxes and fees,
in Houston area. The only options added are floor mats (5 pieces) + cargo net,
for a OTD cost of ~ $30,650 (including a 8.5% taxes for my city).March 23
Can you give me the name of the dealer in Long Island? I was looking at an XLE 4wd, 3.6. The msrp was around $38k and dealer was quoting $490/mo with taxes and everything rolled into lease except 1st payment and dmv.February 23
orangeman99Competition Toyota said they would do $450, with only 1st month and DMV at signing. But that included my lease-end car which had some equity in it. But the car wasn't going to be available until April and my current lease was to end March 24th. I'm not sure if they would do $450 straight up with no trade.
