Large hose clamps and/or twisted wire also work ... it's not pretty (sorry, Pat :smile: ), but can extinguish the demons.I've heard of some folks (especially on gen-1 Outbacks) tack welding them in order to silence the little heathens. Hopefully, yours is an easier fix than that. :)
Traded my 2015 Forester 2.5i Touring w/ CVT for an A4 Avant TDI S-Line w/ 6 speed manual and right hand drive ... in England for the week.
Making out pretty well driving on the left and shifting with my left hand. Got to be careful with minimal ground clearance and 40 series tires.
Yeah, it was weird driving into the dealership with a brand new car.

I may be in the minority, but I like the CVT transmission.
I got the Burnished Bronze because the deer fur will blend in; it stood out too much on a red car. lol
