Isuzu Trooper Noises and Sounds

I recently bought a 2002 Isuzu trooper. There is a strange noise coming from the vehicle, it sounds like it is coming from the front. While this noise was going on, the alternator went so originally we thought that the alternator was responsible for the problem. However, after replacing the alternator and the battery the noise is still there. When the alternator was replaced there was a lot of burnt wiring that was replaced also. It's kind of a hard noise to describe. It sounds the same as when you drive over those rumble bars at the side of the road but without the vibration. It only happens when driving the vehicle over 30mph, but when the vehicle is in park and the engine is idleing the noise doesn't happen. The transmission shifts smoothly and the engine seems to run perfectly. I'm wondering if it is some kind of electrictrical problem. Any ideas?

When I press the gas it sounds kinda like there's an exhaust system on it or something...that's the best way to describe it. And the gas pedal feels "rough." This make any sense to anyone? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I had a problem with my 2000 trooper that turned out to be rocks scooped up onto the front end from driving on the beach. One of the front wheel components would flex onto the rocks, making noise.

have a used 89 trooper that had a leak between the engine and transmission after taking it to a local shop to seal leak i noticed there is now a loud noise that pops up when i reach 1700 rpm. when i let off the gas it goes away when i accelerate it is very loud sounds between metal rubbing and an exhaust leak i can down shift and rpm raises but this time noise goes away. Thought it might be starter but nothing there, disconnected front transfer drive shaft still no difference checked the noise seems to be coming from the same area as the original leak any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.
