Hyundai Santa Fe heated seats problem

I have a 2007 Sante Fe about a year old and I think it's a great car. However, 3 or 4 times during the past year my seat suddenly gets hot. I did not pay for heated seats and there is no control switch. My passenger seat had the problem one time, but it is not used as much so it might have been hot at times without me knowing about it.
Could they put the wiring and heaters into the seats and not add the controls unless you paid for them? Could they be shorting out occasionally and heating up? Today it was 95 degrees and I could hardly sit in the seat while driving. When I turned off the engine and restarted it was ok????

The control switch is located in the bin directly below the center dash and cigarette lighters. If you have a lot of junk in there, it is easy to accidentially activate this switch. It sounds like you got heated seats with a package and are unaware of this. Either that, or you are having hot flashes. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply Rick. I don't know if you noticed, but I posted this last June. I did double check and found that I did have the heated seats, located the switches and have been comfy ever since.
