Looking at a '93 with the supercharged 3.8L V6. I need something better on gas than my truck, but at the same time, I need the trunk/back seat space. I'm a musician and have lots of gear to carry. How's the MPG been for you guys? Thanks.

24-25 at 75-80mph, 29-31 at 55-60mph, 21-22 in short freeway commuting. Engine has 204,000 miles on it and uses no oil, no smoking at all, starts instantly, pulls hard. I challenge dealer to find issues to fix, but they say no codes set, and it is a great engine. Some dealers report 3.8's with 300 and 400 miles on them. I do run Mobil 1 10/30 and their filter, which is extra fine filtration (10-20 microns).

Bulletproof engines. Gm made it from 1962 until Aug 2008 (45 years!).
