Santa Fe A/C Switches...

In my 2008 Santa Fe it has two buttons for the A/C. One just says A/C while the other says Max A/C. Do both of these run the compressor the same period of time or does one run it less as an economy measure? Whichever I choose I can still turn recirculation on or off it seems.

Thanks,
Keith

Here in Colorado we're getting ready for ski season, but it's my understanding that using "Max A/C" puts the system into recirculate. If you go to outside air you're back to normal A/C. AFAIK that's the only difference.
