2009 Impala BOSE System - Repeat function

Just bought this car and I like the stereo, no complaints, but I can't find the REPEAT button. When I go into the Music Navigator Mode (SORT by Artist or Album) it just keeps repeating the same song from the mp3 cd. The manual says to push the RPT button to turn on or off repeat, but I don't have a RPT button. It's probably something simple but I can't see it.

The Bose stereo does not have a RPT button. The RPT button is on the base, non-MP3 stereo.

I have an '06 Impala with the Bose/MP3 option and have never used the MP3 function. However, based on what the manual says, when using the Music Navigator the stereo will scan the disc and begin playing the disc while the scan continues in the background. Once the scan is completed, the disc will start playing from the beginning again, but will then play all songs by artist alphabetically. For example, if you have 10 songs by Aerosmith and 15 songs by the Black Eyed Peas, it will play all the Aerosmith songs first and then move on to the Black Eyed Peas tracks.

If your stereo is playing the same song over and over, even after the scan is complete, it almost sounds like the stereo is only seeing that 1 MP3 file. Have you tried a different CD-R? Have you tried manually jumping to different tracks to see if the stereo will do it?

It must have been something weird. Only happened that one time. I do miss the the different EQ's I've had in the past and the repeat buttons, but all in all I am quite happy with the 2009 Impala.

    Hello Fburgin,
I am from GM Customer Service. Have you taken the radio out at all or changed your battery? Has your dealership looked at the radio yet? Thank you,
