Chevy Blazer fuel gauge

installed a new pump and the gauge now reads 1/2 tank when its empty and needle goes to "fuel" the word on the gauge and empty at 1/2 tank mark. took new pump out and put back old sending unit and it still does same thing. when the key is turned on the fuel gauge needle jumps all the way to the bottom center of gauge then back to read as it is and hold a steady position.

Iintermittent jerking over 50 mph that stopped after complete tuneup in feb 11.All new parts except distributor. Some days it doesn't happen, other days it can happen several times during my 25 mile commute. . Recently had the distributor replaced due to noisy vibration. The jerking has returned. Went back to replacing mechanic and he states everything including timing is fine and he has no idea why it jerks. Can you help?

We have the same problem. Had oil changed in rear differential and it seemed to help for a couple of months. Next is transmission service. It feels like the jolly green giant just grabs the rear of my blazer and yanks real quick. That is the only way I can describe it. Good luck with that and if I find anything else out I will post for you.
