2001 Jeep GC Backup Lamp Problem

jastaphyjastaphy Member Posts: 2
Backup lamps do not work on vehicle(left and right). Nothing else seems to be effected. Checked voltage at bulb on one side and it is not getting any. Any suggestions on troubleshooting this issue?

    Did you check your fuses?

I did when the problem first arose but I figure I can give it another shot just incase I missed something. Last time I visually inspected several that I thought ran the back up lamps. Do you happen to know what fuse those lamps run through? I have looked through the manual and also the fuse diagram on the underside of the fuse box cover and nothing seems to identify their fuse...

Perhaps backup lamps go by a special name?

edit...checked park lights and rear fog lamps... both are fine.

No, I don't know which fuse that would be. Perhaps one of our Jeep experts would jump in to help out. Anyone?
