2010 Chevy Equinox Power Seat Problems

Has anyone seen the bulletin on the memory seats for the 2010 Equinox? I bought my 2010 Equinox LTZ 8/4/09 and have nothing but problems with it. The memory issue was just the latest of my problems and GM's laughable bulletin explaining it was a joke. Apparently if the seat is moved from a different position than what you have programed in the seats will go back to that position and not the one that your keyfob should be programed to go to (i.e. Memory position 1 or 2) the only way to fix this is to manually reset by pressing the 1 or 2 on the seat when you get in and that will fix the problem. I was told by the GM rep that while this is not the way it was intended to work it that the seats are working the way they were designed. Just what the hell is that supposed to mean? Also this not only effects the way the seats work but the position of the mirrors as well.

Where on the internet do you find bulletins from GM announcing problems?

The Edmunds Maintenance Guide lists recalls and Technical Service Bulletins.

Edmunds has no bulletins for the 2010 Equinox yet. Here is a link to the blog that I have started dealing with the trials and tribulations I have had with my 2010 Equinox so far. I have a copy of the seat bulletin there. There is also anther bulletin that just came out on the NAV system rebooting which is another problem I have with my car. I'm still waiting on a copy of that bulletin.

I find it eerily ironic that I have had problems with the exact same dealer, and that we have both been upset enough to post on this website. The worst part is that I haven't even taken possession of my vehicle yet! I posted all of my issues I have had with Cable Dahmer thus far while being in the process of purchasing a 2LT NOX with sunroof and auto liftgate. I decided to purchase one they had already put on order to cut down on the wait time. All of my issues are explained in the "Chevrolet Equinox Prices Paid and Buying Experience" thread. I will say that the new car manager Tim has been very helpful since taking over for my sales guy a week ago. I told him I didn't have faith in any of them, yet I truly believe he's trying to make things right for me. I am very interested in seeing how everything turns out for you.. and hope I do not follow the same path with this dealer when I take possession the end of this week!!

    Best of luck to you!
